New Quilt Pattern, New Scrappy Block, New $5 Pattern

All the new things in today’s blog post and video! You can catch the video where I talk about all of these things here.

First up, let’s chat about my new Warm-Hearted quilt pattern.

I’ve had this little cutie sketched up since last summer. I couldn’t wait to see what it would look like made in Peachy Keen fabrics. I love the blues in Peachy Keen and knew it would make a beautiful winter themed quilt.

Warm-Hearted finishes at 56″ x 72″ and is an intermediate level pattern. It was beautifully quilted by David of Quilting by David. You can purchase the Warm-Hearted pattern here in either Paper or PDF formats.

I have also put together a few kits for Warm-Hearted. I very seldom sell kits of any of my patterns!

The kits include all of the fabric to complete the quilt top plus the binding and the Warm-Hearted quilt pattern. It does not include the backing fabric.

The fabric is from Peachy Keen and from Coriander Seeds (the white on white is one of my favorites from Coriander Seeds and the other prints are from Peachy Keen). You can purchase a kit here. I don’t plan to restock the kits once they sell out.

Next up is another Scrappy block pattern in my scrappy block pattern series. This one is a scrappy Snowflake block.

For this block I used a mix of Peachy Keen and Blueberry Delight (the whites are all from Coriander Seeds). These blues are the same ones I am using for my Blockheads blocks. I have really been enjoying this mix.

And lastly, the new $5 pattern of the month is Scrap Basket Stars. Scrap Basket Stars is an intermediate level quilt pattern. It is another excellent scrap busting pattern. The pattern calls for a fat eighth bundle but because the print squares you need are all either 2 1/2″ or 3″ squares, it works beautifully for scrap busting.
