Ohio’s Amish Country Quilt Shop Hop 2025 Part 2 [PLUS Giveaway]
![]()
This second video of our Ohio’s Amish Country Quilt Shop Hop really showcases all of the beautiful hand quilted quilts unique to the Holmes County, Ohio area.
Holmes County Ohio is home to the 2nd largest Amish community in the world. This influence is very evident with all of the hand quilting we see in these final 5 Holmes County shops we visited during the shop hop.
I told you last week that if you enjoyed the hand quilting you saw at Carlisle Fabrics that you would also enjoy the next shops we were going to visit. There were so many pretty things to see!
I hope you enjoy watching this second video of our travels!
About that giveaway….
If you’ve already watched the video, you heard me chat about the Abloom block kits that I picked up at each of the 12 quilt shops we visited. I am giving all of them away to one lucky winner (along with the bow pattern I mentioned). The giveaway is open to any of my YouTube subscribers. To enter, make sure you are subscribed, and then leave a comment below telling me which of the 12 shops we visited caught your eye the most and what you liked best at that shop. If you missed the part 1 video, you can watch here.
The giveaway is open through next Saturday, December 20. I will draw a winner the week of the 21st and announce it here on the blog.
Good luck and thank you so much for watching! Corey

I really liked the one last week, I think it was called Anna Louisa, something like that. I live in Dayton and plan to recreate your shop hop next Spring when the artic blast is gone! Thanks for giving us the tour.
Thank you so much for these videos on this shop hop. So many beautiful quilts. My favorite shop was Carlisle Quilts.
I liked all the shops; but Anna Louisa’s quilt pattern really spoke to me. I know you had fun and how great of an anniversary gift you received!
I love shop hops. It’s a new chance to explore and see some exciting ideas and meet fun people. I was impressed with Millers Dry Goods. The first thing that caught my eye was the chairs outside the store. Charming, welcoming and cozy. Perfect! Although, all the shops were inviting and showcased their talents. I only wished I didn’t live so far away… South Dakota. Thank you for taking me a long on your adventure!
Fun seeing a shop hop this way so thank you! I’m pretty sure I was at the Berlin quilt shop about 5 years ago with my SIL so that was fun to see!
Thank you so much for taking us on this beautiful journey
I love all the shops I’ve seen. Miller Dry Goods is amazing. Thank for this tour. Loved it.
I have loved strawberry fabrics and have worked on two or three Christmas quilts. I have a photo of one that I’d like to send but I don’t see the email to send it to. Thank you for your wonderful and inspirational Saturday Sharon’s.
I also loved Milker dry goods stores! They feel so homey and well laid out. You have inspired me to make a trip to the shop hop next year (I’m in New Mexico) and visit all of these amazing stores myself!
I loved seeing all the shops! I had been to several of them last fall when my friend and I did the All Ohio Shop Hop. I think my favorite shops were the Lonestar or Plaid Sheep shops. I could spend so much time and money in the area. Beautiful country.
I have been thinking about the layout they used at the very first shop, Fabric Obsession, all week long! I so want to make that. Thank you for such a fun ride along!
Oh my goodness. Now I want to do my own shop hop trip. My favorite to see was The Plaid Sheep, one I’ve always wanted to go to. Loved them all. The only one I’ve been to was the Polka Dot Pin Cushion when on a visit with my daughter. So much great inspirations!!!
Loved seeing all the shops. Some day I want to visit the shops in Ohio. Would be a great road trip from Western New York. Helping hands quilt design I loved the best, but each was unique.
I so enjoyed watching these videos. You and Ryan did a great job highlighting the shops and inspired me to take a little trip on my own. I loved all the shops and was very jealous of all of the choices available to Ohio quilters. I think my favorite shop was the Lone Star. (But really how could you pick just one?) My favorite shop hop quilt was the one from Lone Star. It took my breath away! I thought it was so beautiful!
Corey, you made my heart so happy to visit all these shops!! It makes me wanna go to Ohio and visit everyone of those shops! I live in Amish country in Wisconsin, and appreciate their talents in all they do.
Corey, this shop tour was so much fun. I love it when I can look and not have to buy anything. I wish I lived closer to Ohio. Do the shops sell the patterns for these blocks?
I enjoyed seeing all the awesome shops in the hop. Living in Yuma, AZ I’m about 3 hours away from multiple quilt shops. We have 2 great ones here in Yuma but others are more distant! I loved the pattern at the Carlisle Quilt Shop. I actually messaged them and ordered it. Now I’ll have another quilt to complete! All the quilts were simply outstanding!
I loved seeing all the quilt stores. My favorite was the Lone Star Quilt Shop. I loved their finish setting for all the blocks. I also loved seeing all the hand quilted quilts. They are so talented.
Loved Anna Louisa’s but also Plaid Sheep and Lone Star. But who am I kidding …. I loved the all. I’m definitely going to do the trip next year! I will be broke at the end of the trip but oh so happy 😜. Thank you for doing this road trip for us. Ryan is a keeper! He has great taste in quilts. I shared your video with my fellow quilters. Best wishes for the festive season.
It’s so nice to see the shops from home. Living in NC I don’t get home that often. So many ideas and I love the big bow!
This has been so much fun to watch. As a west coast girl, I’m already planning a road trip to shop hop different parts of the country and I can’t wait to visit your neck of the woods.
I really enjoyed watching the Amish Quilt Shop Hop. My favorite shop would be Millers Dry Goods. We visited that shop while living in Ohio. I was just learning how to quilt. I believe I bought quilting stencils there. I love the Abloom fabric and have the panel which I plan to cross stitch and incorporate into a wall hanging. Truly enjoy your Saturday videos.
Hi Corey- I loved all the shops but my favorite was The Plaid Sheep – I think this looks like a fun road trip. I have never travelled to Ohio. Good job Ryan on your purchase for an anniversary gift. So thoughtful! All quilts made for the shop hop were stunning!!!!
-30 wind chill today , but I’m all warm and cozy watching your quilt videos. Beautiful quilts and the lone star is stunning. What a nice gift .
Thank you for all your hard work .
Really all the shops looked wonderful but I loved the Helping Hands Quilt Shop. That Whole Cloth Quilt has always been on my list of quilts to have done. Thanks for the tour.
I loved seeing the shops in your videos and am looking forward to visiting some of them. I have been to Helping Hands quilt shop but it’s been awhile. I live in Dalton Ohio so it’s not very far for me to visit several of these shops.
The Lone Star quilt shop caught my attention!! All the quilt shops were fantastic. The quilt that came home with you is absolutely STUNNING! Sorry about all the excitement, but color, arraignment and design get me excited.
I loved all the shops quilts but I think I liked lone star the best. So many beautiful quilts. The ladies that work there are so wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
I ready enjoyed watching all the shops. My fav was helping hands. I just loved the lone star quilt in peachy keen. That is one of my favorite fabric lines.
I really enjoyed watching these videos of the shop hop. I can’t pick a favorite shop, they were all beautiful!! I did really love seeing all the hand quilted quilts in Miller Dry Goods and the Lone Star Quilt Shops. Seeing all these quilt shops makes me want to take a trip to visit. It’s definitely going on my bucket list. Thank you so much for taking us along.
I loved your quilt tours. Thank you for sharing. Happy Anniversary to you both. Your lone starquilt is beautiful .
This video was so great to watch. The last time you posted about the Plaid Sheep shop, I had to take a road trip from Pittsburgh to visit. It is such a great shop. Now that I watched this video, I can see another road trip in the near future. All of these shops look amazing.
I really can’t pick one favorite shop that you featured from your shop hop. They were all so wonderful and strongly thinking a road trip is in my future. (better weather). Can’t wait to see all the wonderful hand quilting! Really love your lone star quilt in Peachy Keen!!
I really enjoyed and loved your video of the Amish Country Shop Hop! I now have several quilt shops on my bucket list to visit! Thank you!
Thanks you so much for this wonderful video of all the stores. I live in Missouri so seeing other stores in other states is so fun. As to favorite shop it is so hard to choose. Love then all.
I love the little wiches hat in the backgroung at Chestnut Ridge but my favorte shop is Lone Star because I am a hand quilter.
I loved the shop hop videos and it is hard to pick a favorite but since I like star blocks I would pick the Lone Star shop. I have an “antique” quilt of that pattern in my possession which was made by my late husband’s great grandmother.
Cory, I love all your quilts and patternsl I’m ready to sandwich your Joy filled pattern I put together with your Peachy Keen fabric. I love the lone star quilts you shared on your shop hop tour.
My favorite quilt shop that you visited was Fabric Obsession. Their Shop Hop quilt with the birdhouses was adorable. I also enjoyed seeing the Ohio countryside as I rode along with you. Thank you for the two videos. You have a wealth of quilt shops and fabrics at your disposal.
I really enjoyed the shop hop videos. I’ve never been to Ohio, but it looks beautiful. The quilt shops are fabulous!
I loved the shop hop videos! I would like to visit this area and all the quilt shops🥰
What an amazing tour! I was in the Holmes County area a long time ago! Your trip took me back and reminded me how much I love the area! Each shop was so unique I don’t think I could pick a favorite!
Happy Anniversary yo you and Ryan! Love the quilt!
Absolutely loved you Holmes County shop hop tours. Having recently visited them during the All Ohio Shop Hop it was fun to see them in video. Each shop is so unique, and staff wonderful, thus can’t say I have a favoritel. Looking forward to another day trip visit all of them.
Thanks for the great videos! My favorite was Plaid Sheep Co. Their shop hop quilt really spoke to me. Do you know if the shops are publishing their patterns? I haven’t been able to find any.
I could not possibly pick just one. There were so many beautiful shop quilts, it just wouldn’t be fair. The designers were all so fabulous and they made your fabric shine. I loved everyone if them and all the handquilting made my heart go pitter patter. Thank you so much gor your blog, videos, fabric and kindness. You are the treasurer and I am so happy to have found you. Love and Blessing to you, your family this Christmas season ❤️
Thanks for the last 2 weeks of video fun. So many nice shops but I really liked Miller’s Dry Good. You did a great job of highlighting each shop. Your husband did a great job on your anniversary gift it is beautiful.
I liked plaid sheep shop the best. i would love visiting them all.
This is so fun that you took us along. I don’t have any quilt shops near me so it was a treat! Happy anniversary!
I so enjoyed the time I get to spend with you. The shop hop was a lot of fun seeing what is available and how talented people are. I really don’t have a favorite! I really loved them all!
AnnaLouisa has always been my favorite quilt shop in that area! I love all the quilts and projects displayed. Each room brings such delight when I walk in. The staff is really friendly and so helpful. My husband fell in love with the layout of the shop and the ladies that fed him cookies during the 2024 shop hop.
Many thanks to you and Ryan for taking us on the journey to see the shops.
I loved going on this tour with y’all ! I usually do my fabric shopping locally and in Lancaster Pa, but this has given me a desire to head that way ! Years ago a group of church ladies all went to Holmes Co to get fabric for a church quilt and Miller dry goods was one we stopped at !
Loved the videos of all of the shops! Have been to most of the Holmes County shops over the years. My favorite is Millers Dry Goods. Always a wonderful selection of fabrics and fun things to see. Lonestar is beautiful also.
Love watching your videos every Saturday morning with a cup of coffee in hand. Your patterns and fabrics are so inspiring. Can’t wait to visit the shops on our annual anniversary trip in January!
I have never been to Ohio but what a beautiful selection of quilt shops. I’d choose Lone Star Quilts. Since I live in Texas, Lone Star is a pattern I’ve always wanted to do but haven’t…yet!
I enjoyed seeing your trip through Holmes County. It’s one if my favorite places here in Ohio to visit for quilt supply shopping. I couldn’t pick just one, I love them all. Each one unique and offers so much quilty goodness!
I loved your videos related to your shop hop! Those were a very nice addition! I loved all the shops, but I think I adored the Lone Star shop the most because of all of the beautiful hand quilted Lonestar quilts. I love the peachy keen longstanding that your husband bought you–it is simply gorgeous!!!
Thank you for taking us along on your shop hop. It made me wish I lived in Ohio, so pretty there. Tigs Garden was my favorite, but so many beautiful quilts.
I enjoyed both weeks of the shop hop . Thanks for sharing.
Loved watching the shop hop video’s. Especially liked Tiggy’s garden and the Carpenter Star quilts. I would love to do this shop hop in the future.
My favorite shop was Millers Dry Goods. My late husband and I visited Berlin a few years ago and I remember being in that shop. We were in many others (all wonderful) but for some reason, I distinctly remember Millers. I so enjoyed visiting all the shops via your tour since I’m afraid I’ll never get back to that area from my home here in NC. But I can always hope! Thank you – I enjoy your YouTube show every Saturday morning and love to read your blog and follow your site on social media.
Loved all the shops… I would choose Millers only because I visited it several years ago.
I watched both parts of the show. I used to live in Ohio a long time ago. It was fun to walk down memory lane with you. All the shops are beautiful and it makes me sad they are so far away from me. I loved it all!
I loved the Lone Star shop, but every store had so many goodies! When I retire think I will take a trip out your way to see all the shops!
What a beautiful Anniversary Gift! I would love to make those blocks. I hope to one day do a shop hope for my area. ☺️
What a delight both of these segments have been! I am hard pressed to pick a favorite but the Lone Star shop with all of those hand quilted quilts was extraordinary! You are so fortunate to live in an area with all of those lovely quilt shops!
Hi,Corey. Thank you so much for sharing your trip at your local quilt shops! I have been to every one of them at previous hops. It was fun remembering how my sister and I would enjoy traveling in that area during our FARTing. I love watching your videos every Saturday. Happy Anniversary ❤️
Thank you for taking me along on your road trip. All of the shops were wonderful, there’s just something cozy about quilt shops. I especially liked Plaid Sheep, but any shop with rocking chairs out front has my vote.
So many beautiful shops! I really enjoyed seeing them all. Thank you for the tour of Ohio. My favorite shop was Miller’s Dry Goods.
I have love the shop hop videos.
I loved all the ships and want to visit some day. My favorite was the Miller Dry Goods shop. I love old buildings and the hometown feel of the shop.
Miller’s Dry goods but I loved them all
I enjoyed the wonderful quilt shop hop! Now I need to take a mini vacation to Ohio Amish country to visit all of them in person! My favorite shop was Miller’s!
I really loved the shop hop. So many very beautiful quilts. If only I were a thimble full that talented! Loved the bow idea also. Thank you so much for sharing your time and talent with all of us. God bless and Merry Christmas
I loved Miller’s Dry Goods and the variety of ways they worked with the world of quilting. I would love one of those hand-quilted quilts. Guess we will have to take a road trip your way to Amish country..
The Carlisle Quilt shop caught my eye for the beautiful dress making fabrics. I am reduced to only online shopping for fabric. My closest fabric shop is two and a half hours away and only carries quilting fabric. Thank you for the shop hop videos. So fun.
I absolutely loved this shop hop series. The shop I loved the most was the Lone Star Shop. That Peachy Keen Lonestar quilt was gorgeous. I’m so very happy you were gifted that quilt. Way to go Ryan. The one quilt that spoke to me was the one with Tiggs in it. That quilt was amazing, all the quilts were amazing, but that one spoke to me. Thanks again for the tours.
I love watching your videos especially the shop hop. I have a longarm quilting business in Indiana & I don’t have a chance to get out to see many shops.
I love Miller Dry Goods. Mostly because if the Moda fabrics. I’ve fallen in love with Corey Yoder fabrics/patterns. Not only Corey’s fabrics, but all of the other wonderful, talented Moda fabrics
Keep up the good work Corey
Happy Holidays 🌲
I wish I could visit all of the shops! It is hard to pick just one. Each one was my favorite shop so I pick the Lone Star! Thanks for taking us along! Amish country in Ohio is beautiful.
Wow what a beautiful journey and Ryan great anniversary quilt. Good job. Elaine, funny how you love the home spun. As I have been watching this video I am sewing my homespun nine patch with the simple star ( aka friendship star). Thank you for all the videos. Love them all. And so ready to get block 12 and finishing plus bonus from our bom with the calli and co
I LOVED the Plaid Sheep “Tiggs Garden” quilt. So creative and fun!!!
I loved the tour of the hop shop. It was nice to see all the beautiful quilt shops and all of the beautiful quilts that were hand quilted. What a beautiful anniversary present! Thank you!
Good morning,
What a lovely trip through Ohio, and the shops-WOW! Thank you for sharing, so fun to see what other areas of our quilting world have to offer. Love having my Saturday morning coffee with you and seeing what adventures you have to share. Happy Holidays
I think my favorite shop quilt was at Plaid Sheep. The design of the garden was so wonderful. What I loved most is that I am still in the design stage, but in the future, I will have a large garden wall quilt. I’m adding S. Sue and O. Bill to an existing garden quilt pattern. For everyone shop, the hand quilting that they offer is just so much more than anything I’m accustomed to these days. Thank you for taking us with you. I would love to win the Shop Hop blocks and the bow pattern.
Love your shop hop videos. Makes me want to take a trip to the area! It’s so hard to pick a favorite as I loved them all. But, I’m going to pick Lone Star Quilt Shop. Thank you for your great fabric designs, patterns and these wonderful YouTube video – YOU’RE THE BEST!!
Thank you for sharing your shop hop. The nearest quilt shop for me is an hour drive. The shops were wonderful. My favorite quilt would be the log cabin from your first day of hopping. I am currently making the mystery quilt from Fat Quarter Shop in your Abloom line. I would love to travel your way and have a quilt hand quilted or even take a lesson from the Amish community. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family. Sherri McLaughlin
I loved your virtual tour. My favorite was Carlisle. Loved their quilt. I was unable to go on the shop hop this year due to medical issues with my husband. Maybe next year! Thank you for the tour
I love Miller dry goods. I had the pleasure of visiting once.
Thank you so much for taking us along on the shop hop. It made me want to plan a trip to Ohio (I live in Arizona) to visit all the quilt shops. Seeing each of the different quilts that were made was suck a delight. I especially liked the garden quilt with Tiggs on it!
Shop hops are the best. Thank you for sharing these shops with us. I loved all of them, but my favorite was Chestnut Ridge Sewing because I love Bernina machines. I dream of some day owning a Bernina longarm. And that they train and rent their longarm machines out to customers, well they became my favorite. I have two favorite quilts…Tigs Garden at Plaid Sheep Co and the hand quilted quilt at Helping Hands Quilt shop. Thanks again for sharing with us.
I look forward to your YouTube videos every Saturday morning. And I really really hope that you have a mystery quilt for 2026 again
I have really enjoyed watching your shop hop videos. I am in the UK and we have nothing akin to what you have shown. It was a wonderful glimpse into your area, you did a great PR job for everyone and Holmes county is now on my travel wish list! I’d like to retrace the shops which you visited and find it hard to identify a favourite to drop into, but pushed to decide I’d have to say the one in your second video which displayed so many hand quilted goods.
Watching your YouTube video I am going to do the Ohio shop hop. It was really nice seeing all the hand quilted quilts.
Corey, what a wonderful trip. Wish I could be a little mouse and ride along with you, Bless you and your husband for sharing the trip ,and happy anniversary and many more.
I loved these videos. Personally, I’ve never seen so much hand quilting. It’s beautiful. I am so happy for you that you have that Lone Star quilt. It’s amazing.
I live in New Philadelphia and I am not far from some of these quilt shops. I have been to the shop in Berlin and loved it. The shop I liked the best was the Anything Sews in Dover, OH. It is so close to me, but I had no idea it existed. I will be making a trip there soon. I have ordered a lot of quilt fabrics online, but it would be nice to shop in an actual store. Thanks so much for showing all the quilt shops. I will have to make a trip to see many of them, maybe in the Spring when I know there won’t be any snow. I enjoy watching your Saturday videos. Thanks for sharing your talents with us. Barb Drummond
Hi Cori,
I eagerly wait for Saturday mornings so i can watch your videos. Lived in holmes county for 12 years and moved backto florida 10 years ago. I really miss the shopping for fabric in Berlin. Have been quilting for many years and love your line of fabrics. Dolores Brogdon.
The Lone Star Quilt shop was really impressive to me with all the hand quilted quilt!!! Wow! It was so fun that you husband bought you the quilt from there. What a nice hubby.
I enjoyed both parts of your shop hop tours. Would love to live near such wonderful quilt shops. Thank you for sharing your adventures on the shop hop!
All the shops were so pretty and now am going to be making a trip to Holmes county Ohio, it looks so lovely with lots of fun shops….picking a fav was tough and its a toss up between millers dry goods and the lone star shop ..im going with the lone star shop maybe that will be good luck for me for a win! Have a wonderful Week Corey and happy anniversary to you and Ryan….whats fabulous anniversary present he got for you!
I loved them all, I think favorite is Miller’s dry goods, I love all the colors thanks so much for sharing
I have so much enjoyed your tour, loved the lone star quilt, all the quilts were beautiful, wish I could buy all of them, happy anniversary to you both, God bless
Hi Corey,
I enjoyed taking this trip of all the shops. I’m from Zanesville, Ohio now living in Tennessee. Every year my sister and I would come back to Ohio to visit my mother and my other sister and several times we would go to Berlin, Walnut Creek to shop, EAT, and visit the quilt shops. Sometimes we made it to your largest flea market. We had the best times. Be safe and enjoy the holidays. Patty
.
This was so much fun. The second video was as familiar as walking through my house. I love Miller’s and Lone star they are my favorite but I can’t wait to check out Medina. We didnt get to the hop becasue its so hard to do around work but this was fun.
I loved the quilt from millers dry goods. Are those pattern available at the shop?
Good morning, Corey. Anna Louisa’s shop was the most charming as far as how she displayed her fabric. The “shelf bed’s” were so clever and unique. I think my favorite though, was Miller’s Dry Goods. All of the hand quilting grabs my heart. When I was in my mid to late thirties, I joined a group of women at a local VFW hut once a week. We set up three or four quilting frames and sat and hand quilted quilts to send overseas. They were for a program that sent our soldiers who were wounded home. Each was wrapped in a handmade quilt for the journey. Merry Christmas and thank you so much for the joy you bring to your videos each Saturday morning.
Helping Hands Quilt Shop!!
I bought my first hand quilted quilt about three years ago while visiting the shop in Berlin. The quilt is absolutely beautiful and it started me on my own quilting journey. Thank you so much for filming the shop hop. My mother and I will be visiting Ohio next summer to go visit all of the shops and my boys too because they live in Ohio. 😂
Great tour of the quilt shops! Thank you so much… Impossible to pick my favorite!
Thank you for sharing your adventure! My sister, Christi Franks, has talked about her adventures for the same Shop Hop. She recently shared Miller’s Dry Goods online shop with me (I have since ordered from them). What a blessing it is to have that many shops to visit, purchase, and learn from!
Hello Corey, Thank you for the shop hop videos. Raised in SW PA and now living in AZ, I miss our Amish community and all the wonderful fabric, hand quilting and homemade goods. I have to say Miller’s Dry Goods and Lone Star take first in my heart, with all the others favorited as well! Each bringing the unique design and style. I saved each shop to my favorites and made a few purchases as well. Thank you for sharing, you make each Saturday special!
(P.S. Happy Anniversary! Glad Ryan purchased the Peachy Keen Lone Star, it was on my radar to purchase!. , I love that fabric line and the quilting was beautiful and I did not even see it up close to admire it all!)
Kindly,
Shelley Francis
My favorite was the quilt at plaid sheep but there were things at each one that I enjoyed. Wish I lived closer! Really loved seeing all the hand quilting. And the zippers were fun. What a fun shop hop
I loved these videos of the shop hop and your weekly videos. Personally, I’ve never seen so much hand quilting. It’s beautiful. I’ve sewed and crafted all my life but have only been quilting a few years. Now I understand what a shop hop can be. I am so happy for you that you have that Lone Star quilt. It’s amazing.
Lone star shop is my favorite although it is hard to choose. Ryan made an awesome choice for your anniversary! Happy wife, happy life!
I loved the On Williams Street huge floral quilt. I do t remember the shop. I live in the Los Angeles area, and was amazed at how large the quilt shops were. We don’t have anything like these in Southern California
The quilt would make a great charity quilt.
Cory what a wonderful giveaway. I really enjoy watching your videos. I really liked the shop that had the bow pattern. You could use that bow so many different ways.
Love the tour. My husband’s family live in Ohio around Cleveland. On summer we went traveled up there to see all the relatives and one day we got to visit different quilt shops and I wanted to see the Amish area. I believe we went to the Plaid Sheep Company. Loved all the stores I went into but sorry can’t remember the names.
Your last two videos have inspired me to vacation to Ohio (from Washington state) and visit many of these shops. I love the craftmanship of hand quilting even though I have only hand quilted one in my life – it was the Ohio Star for my friend from Ohio. That was over 40 years ago! Thanks for sharing. I would love to win but even if I don’t, I hope to pick up patterns when I visit these shops.
Thank you for taking me on this road trip and just so you know I’m pretty lucky 😉
Loved the Lone Star shop and of course, the Lone Star quilt that you brought home is my favorite!
Corey, This has been the most fun. My Dad is from this area and we don’t live all that far away. It would be fun to do my own shop hop with my sister in the warmer weather. I loved the Tigg’s Garden quilt at Plaid Sheep. so hard to choose one. They all are gorgeous.
Saturday mornings are always a time to look forward to because I so enjoy sipping coffee while watching Corey’s latest video. The shop hop videos were great fun, especially as I have not been to a shop hop for several years. I live in an isolated mountain community which had 2 quilt shops when I moved here but now we have none and one must drive for hours to reach a quilt shop. I really miss those outings and you did a beautiful job of featuring those Ohio shops. The shops all had done such a great job of making their quilts unique and I enjoyed each. Ryan is a very smart husband to have found the perfect anniversary gift. I know you will enjoy and cherish it. I also think it was especially nice of Rochelle to donate the big bow pattern to add to your giveaway. One lucky fan of yours will surely appreciate receiving that package from you. Keep creating and sharing. I can barely wait for next Saturday to get the pattern for the final sew-along block and finishing instructions. This will be the fourth one of your sew-alongs I have completed and I do not give these quilts away as I am such a fan of your fabric and quilt patterns.
Corey, I loved the quilt in the shop hop. The price for the kit is $ 149.00
does that include all the fabric for the front and the pattern.
Do they do international shipping? Thanks
Thank you for taking us along on this shop hop tour.. every quilt shop is so unique. Thank full for all the creativity that was put in to each and every quilt. Loved all the shops.
While each of the shops were fun to visit through your travels, I especially loved the Lone Star Quilt shop and design. I’ve always wanted to make a Lone Star quilt, but never worked up the courage. The hand quilting in so many of the shops is astonishing!
This was so fun to watch. Have never been on a shop hop before and doubt that I will ever get to visit all these treasures you have taken us to. I live in Canada and enjoyed every shop you visited. Thank You. I hope you do more of these shop hops. Love your anniversary gift. Would like to see all the hand quilted quilts.
Thank you taking us along the quilt hop shop adventure, I truly enjoyed it! You inspire me to add it on my bucket list!! As new quilter, I got inspired to learn how to hand quilt. Thank you!!!
My favorite quilts were the Abloom Bird House Quilt at Fabric Obsession and the Abloom Hand-quilted Quilt at Carlisle Fabrics & Quilts. I also loved the Big Giant Quilted Bow pattern from Miller’s Dry Goods. Thanks, Corey, for these awesome videos!
I thought the Lonestar quilt shop was amazing. It was my favorite. However, I enjoyed being on your journey as you visited all the quilt shops.
Wow, what beautiful quilts. I loved Helping Hands and Carlisle quilt shops. I contacted Carlisle about their shop hop quilt and they couldn’t have been nicer or more pleasant to work with. I live on Long Island but am thinking a road trip is needed to Ohio! What fun for you to have so many shops within a relatively short distance. Thank you for your Saturday morning videos. Happy holidays.
All of the shops were amazing but my favorite had to be Anna Louisa’s shop. I loved the displays, and the homey-ness of the racks like four-post bed frames made the whole shop so adorable. I know I could get lost for hours just browsing there.
Thank you for sharing these amazing Quilt Shops. The quality of the hand quilting is beyond belief. There are so few shops in my area now. I may need an Ohio road trip this summer! You have a very thoughtful and loving husband. Congratulations on your anniversary.
It was so much fun to go on the Quilt Shop Hot with you! I really like Miller’s Dry Goods and would love to visit it someday. I just love starting my weekend off with your video. Thanks for all that you do!
Enjoyed both videos and love the homespun fabrics. May need to plan a trip to Ohio to visit some of the shops.
It’s fun getting to visit Ohio shops. I find quilt shops seem to take on the personality of the owners and staff.
All the shops you featured are worthy of a visit in the future, but the one that really caught my attention was Miller’s Dry Goods. I actually looked up how far a drive it would be for me (a little over 8 hours). I liked your talk with the owner and I loved the design of her finish for the blocks. I also loved all the fabric I could see during your visit.
Hi Corey…I just loved the shop hop videos that you did these last few weeks. My husband and I visit Holmes County at least 2 times a year and it was so much fun to see the quilt shops that we visit on a regular basis. My husband even enjoyed watching the videos with me. I had bought tickets to attend your Trunk Show this last fall, but unfortunately life got in the way and was unable to attend. I am hoping that you will be able to do again in the future and I will be able to make it next time. Thank you so much for all that you do for the quilting community. Love your fabrics and of course Tiggs appearances.
Hey Corey! I have so enjoyed your videos! I love Holmes County shops so much! Me and the hubs come over at least twice a year to get wood at Kiems and to camp at Scenic Hills Campground. Lone Stars quilt is just stunning!! I bought my Juki there too! All the shops are truly wonderful shops to visit. I felt like I was there during your shop hop excursion and can’t wait to get back! Thank you and have a wonderful Merry Christmas 🎄 God Bless!
I loved that quilt shop hop so much!! The quilts were all so beautiful and the hand quilted ones were amazing. I also got to see a bit of home. I lived in Ohio most of my life and visited Amish country quite a bit so thank you!
Oh what wonderful shops you have to choose from, wish i had this many to in my area.. thank you for showing us all the beautiful shops and how can i choose a favorite!
So enjoyed your videos of the shop hop stores. The hand quilted pieces are beautiful.
I thought the cross stitch /embroidery quilting blocks at Helping Hand quilt shop was unique. I also loved the Lone Star quilt shop’s quilt design. That was my favorite. Thanks for showing all the beautiful quilt shops for those of us that cannot get to such great places in person.
The quilt shops were all amazing. I would love to make any of the Shop Hop Abloom quilts. One day I will make it to Ohio and see all of the wonderful handmade quilts.
Wow Corey! Seeing all the lovely shops and quilts was amazing! Miller Dry Goods was my favorite. Happy Anniversary to you both and what a great anniversary quilt! Thanks for sharing.
I loved the lone star quilt shop I thought there quilt for shop hop was stunning. Love your gift from your husband as well.
Miller’s Dry Good and Lone Star shops were probably my favorite, although they were all amazing. Your ShopHop Tour makes me want to visit Amish Country in Ohio! I look forward to each video you produce and all your beautiful fabrics and designs. Thank you for ALL you do for the quilting community!
Thoroughly enjoyed the shop hop and all the beautiful quilts!
Hi Corey, I have loved visiting all of the quilt shops on the hop. Our only quilt shop here in Waynesville, MO has closed except for quilting ; and it was so satisfying to my soul to see everyones beautiful quilts on display. I think I like the Polka Dot Pincushion’s rendering of the blocks and the”Flower” quilt that they made. I like that each of the shops received equal billing within the quilt. This quilt shows “Camaraderie” but also shows distinctly their Individuality of creation.
Thank you so much for taking us with you.
I made the same trip about 20 years ago with a quilt group from West Central Ohio. It was a dream come true then and now you made it come true again. God bless you Corey and Ryan!
Happy Anniversary! What a wonderful present. So much inspiration at all of these quilt shops. Thank you for taking us with you through your videos.
What a lovely thought to share your blocks. Can’t wait until next week to get the last block and finishing instructions for the mystery quilt!
What fun videos! I didn’t take the time to do the shop hop this year so it was great to see it through your lens. As a local, we really are spoiled with the amount of quilt stores we have locally. It’s easy to forget how blessed we are to have such easy access to our quilty supplies.
I enjoyed ‘visiting’ all the shops! Thank you for bringing us all along on your shop hop. My favorite was the Lone Star shop. I loved seeing all the hand quilted quilts. So beautiful!
love them all but my favorite one is the Milkr dry goods.
I loved all of the quilt shops…so hard to pick a favorite…but…I think Lone Star stands out for me. After seeing your first shop hop video visiting the area to see the shops is definitely on my bucket list. Living in Central Florida it will definitely require some planning but I hope I can make it happen. I love your fabric collections …many have not yet made it into quilts but I have made quite a few beautiful quilts with your collections.
I enjoyed all the quilt shops you visited. I’ve been to several of the shops when I lived in Ohio. I always enjoyed visiting the 2 shops in Charm, but I enjoyed seeing all the other shops in the area. The next time I visit the area I want to visit Lone Star Quilts in New Hope. I love to see all the hand quilted quilts. The quilt made for the shop hop out of your fabric line was my favorite of all the quilts. I also enjoyed seeing all the Lone Star quilts
The Lone Star Quilt Shop in Mt Hope caught my eye the most, and what I liked best at the shop was the beautiful quilt they designed and stitched for the shop hop…absolutely stunning!
Lone Star Quilt Shop, Miller Dry Goods; they were all great. I think a trip to Holmes County, Ohio, is on my to-do list!
The shop hop videos were such a joy to watch! Thank you for sharing them with all of us! Makes me want to come back to Ohio just for the quilt shops!
My favorite shop was the last one, The LoneStar Shop. I’m so happy Ryan gifted that beautiful quilt to you! I would really love to be able to visit in person all the shops you featured on the shop hop. Maybe some day.
I loved your shop hop videos! I was especially happy that your husband purchased the beautiful lone Star quilt as a gift for your anniversary. It is stunning. The shops were all amazing and I might have to put this shop on my to do list. Thank you for all you do Cory. I just finished your Barn Star 7 using Coriander Colors and love it!
Thank you for taking us along on your shop hop trip. I actually loved all the shops! I have only been on 1 shop hop in my life, so this was fun!
Hey Corey! All the shops I visited a couple years ago on the all Ohio hop are calling me! I enjoyed the visit to a few with you, Merry Christmas
Loved seeing all the wonderful quilt shops, so fun to see, love all your fabrics
I would like to visit Anna Louisa’s Quilt Shop. The outdoor setting looks so inviting. I loved the bright small projects. It would be fun to check out the wool section and purchase a small project kit. I was in Berlin a few summers ago and I visited Plaid Sheep and Helping Hands. It was interesting to hear the Helping Hands story. The tour was fun. Thanks for sharing!
Loved all the shops but Anna Louise really caught my eye. Thank you for sharing this Amish Country Shop Hop with all of us!
I have been to most of those shops over the years, they are all unique and wonderful to shop at. I live here in ohio, so it was nice to see the ” local quilting celebrity ” out shopping local. Thanks for your videos, and all you do in the quilting world.
I love the Plaid Sheep Company shop. I would love to look at all the hand quilted quilts. My mom hand quilted all of her quilts. Amazing!
I so enjoyed watching your shop hop trip. I can only imagine the memories that were brought back to mind. I really enjoyed all the quilts made with your a bloom collection of fabrics. Tige’s Flower Garden was beautiful. Thank you for sharing your talents and gifts
I thoroughly enjoyed your amish country shop hop! We were formerly dairy farmers, and spent several trips to Amish country buying heifers. My favorite shop was the lone star shop…Lone Star was my my grandmothers favorite quilt.
I enjoy watching your videos..especially visits from Tiggsy. Your fabrics are
always my favorites!
What a wonderful time going along with you on your shop hop! My favorite shop would be Miller’s Dry Goods. Their lovely collection of Moda is impressive. Moda has always been my most favorite brand of fabric. The Ohio Star blocks on the Christmas stockings were a standout for me as that is my favorite block. Thanks for taking us along!
Thank you so much for sharing all the Ohio quilt shops. It was so cool seeing them all and the skill and creativity of the quiltmakers. I thought the all white hand quilted whole piece quilt was amazing. Thank you for having this channel. I have learned so much from you, Corey. Merry Christmas!
My favorite was Plaid Sheep Company. Specifically all the handmade items you can purchase or buy the pattern for. The nook looked so cozy. Honorable mention , I loved seeing all the hand quilting, it reminded me of my grandmothers quilting. Thank you for the road trip. Great to see the stores on the other side of the US that I haven’t traveled too.
Thank you so much very much for taking us along on this wonderful shop hop! I’m so glad I wasn’t with you because I would have come home COMPLETELY BROKE!! All of the shops were fabulous! Thank you again!
Always in stitches,
Kelly
Dear Corey, how beautiful and fascinating is this Saturday video. The shops are gorgeous. I think it would be a great trip to go to Holmes county ,Ohio and visit. I loved the Tigg garden quilt. I always enjoy your videos and I buy your fabrics here in Colorado. Carmen
What a wonderful Quilt Sop Hop, Corey. Thanks for sharing the 2 days with us. I enjoyed the Miller’s Dry Goods the best. Loved the organization, too.
The Shop Hop blocks Quilt is a stunning one! Loved seeing the Shop Hops’ examples, too. Helping Hands Quilt Shop also caught my eye!
Since I, too, have hand quilted bed quilts, I most certainly appreciate the skills, patience and love put into each stitch; for others!
That looks like such a fun shop hop. So many pretty things to see. I did like the Millers Dry Goods Quilt Barn. Probably because you mentioned it was the first one you went to with your mom. That touched my heart.
Thanks for the videos.
I loved each and everyone of the quilt stores. Wish I lived in an area that I would have all those choices. Thanks so much for doing this.
Thank you for sharing your shop hop adventures. Enjoyed seeing the different quilts. My favorite places to shop for everything quilty!😁
Thank you for showing us all the beautiful quilt shops. Helping Hands was my favorite. All the hand quilting were absolutely beautiful. I’m here in California and growing up my grandparents retired in Ohio. I would go and visit from time to time. Last time going I was a teenager. I did not appreciate the beauty of what was offered. Thank you again for showing all the amazing places.
I enjoyed seeing all of the quilt shops! My favorite was the first one on day two. When you talked to the owner, she mentioned that she wanted to incorporate some ideas from her mother. It made me wonder if she took over the shop from her mother and how special that would be to have that kind of legacy!
Anna Louisa’s was my favorite since I am a lover of wool. All those lovely colors in the wool fabrics and the quilts on the walls was so beautiful to look at. Its so hard to pick a favorite among such beautiful shops. Thank you for the videos so we can see all the pretty things. What an inspiration for us with the cold winter days ahead sewing and stitching . Thank you.
I loved the Lone Star Quilt Shop. Thank you for the tour. I love the Lone Star quilt Ryan bought you.
Thank you for showing us around all of Ohio for the shop hop. All of the shops looked amazing and I loved seeing the hand quilted quilts. The Chestnut Ridge Sewing is my favorite of the tour. I love the idea of becoming certified to use a long-arm machine, and then being able to quilt my own quilts would be so much fun.
Loved the tour!! I can’t wait to see your videos as I enjoy my morning coffee each Saturday. Hope I win!!
These videos are so much fun! Some of the country you showed on your drives reminds me so much of Washington state! You are so blessed to have so many wonderful shops near you! I liked them all & would love to visit them all! After speed reviewing the videos I’ve selected Anna Louisa’s Quilt Shop as my favorite. The inside is cozy, rustic and farmhouse style which is totally unexpected by the outside of the building. Thank you, Corey!
Thank you for sharing your shop hop adventure!! What beautiful quilts. I didn’t like just one shop, I loved them all. My favorite thing in these videos is all the hand quilted quilts. I have never hand quilted before but find I am intrigued by it, especially after these videos,. I want to give it a try, maybe it will help me slow down and relax. Thanks for your wonderful videos and amazing tutorials.
I don’t think I can choose any one particular shop. They all have a special charm to them. I think this Northern New York girl might be visiting these shop this coming spring, once our snow stops flying.
I loved all the quilt shops on your shop hop. I hope to someday visit this area of the country to visit these shops. My favorite setting for the shop hop quilt blocks was the one by Lone Star Quilt Shop with the second being Fabric Obsession. Loved, loved, loved seeing the beautiful Amish country as you were driving through in the fall!!
