Quilt Kit & Another Snow Day
I was browsing over on flickr yesterday and what did my little eyes spy?…a fabulous quilt made using my Ruby, Opal, & Pearl quilt tutorial on MBS. I immediately shot Kim of Poppyseed Fabrics a flickrmail asking her if I could share her lovely quilt. I heard back from Kim right away and (how fun) she was actually in the process of kitting this quilt for her shop on etsy. =) The fabrics Kim used are from Patty Young’s Grand Bazaar line of fabric–I love all those bright colors against the white!

In other news, we have another snow day today! =) I could really get used to these Fridays off. =)
My girls are early risers–anywhere from 5:30-6:30 is the norm–so Chloe and I have already had some coloring time today. I think more coloring is on my agenda as she just asked me if we could do some more coloring. If any of you have any coloring lovers I really can’t say enough good things about that coloring book up there. I purchased it here & I think I like it as much as Chloe. =)
I think some more coloring time may be on our agenda for tommorrow as well–judging from our sunrise this morning. =) We are in for a bit more snow. =)
