Beautiful Day Mystery BOM
Today, I am excited to officially announce my upcoming Beautiful Day mystery block of the month which will be kicking off in 2022.
This BOM is a 6 month mystery block of the month featuring Beautiful Day fabrics. I’ve designed this quilt to work perfectly with these fabrics and to highlight the panel from the line…you guys, I am so in love with this quilt!
I’m waiting to announce the exact start date until I have a better idea of when the fabrics will be available. Right now, Beautiful Day precuts are showing a late January arrival with the yardage following in February. Of course that can change! I am tentatively looking at a later February or March start date.
I will be sharing the fabric requirements on January 7 but in the meantime, if you wanted to ask Santa for a Beautiful Day fat quarter bundle (or get your pre-order in with your local quilt shop) it would be just what you need for the blocks.
I used a fat quarter bundle to piece all of my blocks and it worked perfectly because it also includes the Beautiful Day panel we will be using.
Just a couple more details: I would say that this quilt is beginner/intermediate. It is going to be a large quilt. Each month we will be making 4 simple blocks using one block pattern.
As I mentioned, I will be releasing the complete fabric requirements on January 7.
The other thing I wanted to let you all know about is my December $5 pattern of the month. For the remainder of December, my Plain & Fancy pattern is $5 in my Etsy shop:

Hi Corey! I love all your fabrics! I purchased Cozy Up but haven’t started my Roadside Harvest quilt yet. I am planning to participate in this BOM project and would like to order a Beautiful Day FQB. Before I do….can you tell me which size bundle would work best for this project.
This sounds great. Is the mystery a free program offered on YouTube blog or do we have to sign up through a quilt shop?
It will be offered here in the same way I offered my Spring Brook Blossoms BOM this year.
Is there a purchase price to get the block patterns?
No..it will be a free BOM.

It would be perfect for the Apricot & Ash bundle plus the white panel from the line. That bundle didn’t include the panel so you’d need to purchase it separately.

Loved the Spring Brook sew along. I gifted it to my mom for Christmas! I am planning on using the Apricot and Ash collection for this sew along. Would a gray background look okay with this sew along?
