Round 4 Moda Block Heads, Block 21

Happy Wednesday and Moda Block Heads day! =)

Today, our block is brought to us by Janet Clare.

You will find the block pattern here.  The link can be found right below the picture of Janet’s completed block.

This week’s block is one that I opted to not make.  I don’t quite need all of them and am sticking with the traditionally pieced blocks for this round.  That being said, it’s such a fun block and will be so pretty in so many different fabrics.

Last week I think it was, someone asked me if I would share more pictures of my blocks together.  I thought this would be a great day for that.

I have some of my blocks already pieced together along with the sashing so I can’t quite share all of them but I did get that shot at the top of the page which is almost all of them.

And I’m sprinkling some of my other favorites throughout this post.

I really like the checked centers…all of them that I’ve done so far have ended up so pretty.

I brought that check fabric back in my upcoming Sunwashed fabric line.  I mentioned yesterday in the video I shared that I’m so glad to have it in more colors because I like using it in blocks so much.

It just adds a little something fun to the quilt blocks. =)

I hope that you all have a wonderful Wednesday & happy sewing! Corey

Hi Corey! I just wanted to let you know that I enjoy your blog posts very much! What you write is fun to read and your photos are delightful to see! I’m looking forward to the release of Sunwashed! Those blues especially are just wonderful… I love the bigger floral print! I need to sew faster!! Haha! Have a great day! ~pris

PS I’ve observed that you make several quilt patterns for each fabric line… what do you do with all those wonderful quilts??!! ☺️

I’m so glad to have you reading along Pris!..I’m excited about Sunwashed as well. I think it will arrive into quilt shops just when we need a bright spot in our winter. =)

I do make several quilts each line! They are used to test the quilt pattern, and then used as samples for photography and speaking/teaching events. When we had quilt market, they were also used as display items in my booth.

Hey Corey, my virus protection won’t let me download the Block 21. Says janetclare.co.uk is compromised. Is there any other way to get this pattern?

Thank you for sharing the picture of the quilt blocks – they are gorgeous! I love seeing how you coordinate the different components of the blocks resulting in a scrappy, but cohesive effect – I have lots to learn! Thanks again – they are amazing!

Hey Friends!--I'd love to hear from you. =)
