Serendipity Quilt Along Row 5 (read to the end for a free pattern)
Welcome to row 5 of the Serendipity Sew Along. For this row, we will be making 4 of these fun flower type blocks.
You will find all of the patterns released so far for this quilt along at this link. The pattern for just this block/row can be found here.
Do keep in mind that this is a fundraising quilt along benefitting Make a Wish Central & South Texas and a $5 donation is encouraged for the use of each pattern.
These blocks were quite fun to piece…and having just four instead of the 6 blocks needed for the last row makes this row a little bit faster to piece.
It’s been fun having both the Sewcialites sew along and the Serendipity sew along going on at the same time…I’ve gotten to sew with both Spring Brook and Apricot & Ash this spring which has been great.
I just got my Serendipity quilt back from my quilter this week and it turned out so cute. I shared a little peek of it on my Instagram page on Thursday.
I’m also excited to let you know about a free pattern I designed as part of this sew along that has just been released.
I designed this mini quilt as one of the milestone patterns for the quilt along. You have all helped raise over $70,000 for Make A Wish so my pattern has now been released. Isn’t that fun!–way to go on donating to such a great cause. =) You will find the free pattern to make this mini quilt here.
I hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend. I will be back Monday to share the next block in my Spring Brook Blossoms block of the month. =) So many fun blocks these last few days! Happy Sewing! Corey
Love your Spring Brook fabric line
Love love love your mini basket quilt. Thanks so much for sharing it with us!
Looking forward to using this block
