Serendipity Quilt Along Row 6
Welcome to June!–I am so ready for summer and have really been enjoying these warmer days. Although Ohio took a couple steps back with the weather last week, I think we are warming up this week. =)
It is time for the 7th row to release for our Serendipity Charity sew along. This row is another flying geese row just like row two. So it should go together quickly for you.
You will find all of the patterns released so far for this quilt along at this link. The pattern for just this block/row can be found here.
Do keep in mind that this is a fundraising quilt along benefitting Make a Wish Central & South Texas and a $5 donation is encouraged for the use of each pattern.
And, because it is June 1, that means it is time for a new $5 pattern of the month. I’ve decided to offer Patchy Stars as this months $5 pattern. It is pretty in so many different fabrics!
You will find the pattern in both Paper and PDF versions in my Etsy shop here. You don’t need a code to receive the discount. If you are unfamiliar with how PDF’s work, I would encourage you to purchase the Paper version of the pattern.
I also wanted to thank all of you for the kind comments about the free pattern I posted about yesterday. Don’t ever underestimate leaving a comment!–it is so nice to hear from you and I always appreciate it so much!
I’ll be back Friday with the next Sewcialites quilt block. =) Corey
I did read the comments on your blog yesterday and thought to myself that I shouldn’t comment because I’d just be saying the same thing that others have said—-that would be THANK YOU. I printed out your pattern yesterday and will give it a try just as soon as I finish up this baby quilt I’m making. I do also love your monthly $5 patterns that you offer. Your subscribers enjoy hearing from you also.
Thank you so much for commenting today Maxine!–It’s so nice to hear from people..then I don’t feel like I am just typing to myself! =)
I Love this quilt pattern it is Beautiful Thank You. Barb
I’m so glad Barb!–happy sewing!
I can’t take on another quilt right now but if I could it would be “Patchy Stars” in that same fabric. It is so beautiful. Or I might like it in the apricot colors you are using in the Serendipity Quilt. If you get a chance, what line of fabric is that, love those colors too. I’m taking notes on this quilt and these two lines of fabric for future reference.
The fabric that I am using for Serendipity is Apricot & Ash and the fabric that you see on the Patchy Stars quilt is Spring Brook. If you are interested in using those fabric lines, I would suggest purchasing sooner rather than later as they will become hard to find pretty quickly. =)
Happy June 1st, Corey! Thanks for sharing your talent with us
Thank you so much!
I loved the pattern you shared yesterday and can’t wait to make it. I just have to decide which fabric to use. Thanks for sharing it with us. I just finished a very simple layer cake quilt using Spring Brook. It showcased the big floral prints beautifully. I get so many compliments on it. It’s one of your best collections yet! You’re the best!
I’m so happy to hear that!–it’s so nice to find a pattern that showcases the fabrics in a wonderful way. =)
I have long enjoyed your patterns…not that I will live long enough to make every quilt I see…you are generous, and these $5 patterns, and yesterday’s star pattern prove it—I discovered you quite a few years ago—and you’re still one of my top 3 designers…that patterns are well written, and always come together nicely…Thank you!
I really appreciate your kind comments Beverly!–There are always so many pretty quilt patterns just waiting to get made if only we had all the time we wanted! =)
My “Corey” list just grows and grows! THANK YOU for all that you design and share with us. Can hardly wait to do the little sewing machine block and now Patchy Stars! I’ll be using my Apricot & Ash for it. Allison C. Bayer, Plano TX
That will be so lovely!–and you are so welcome. =)
Corey, I love all your fabric collections! Getting ready to purchase the Patchy Stars pattern. If you were to make that in your Pepper and Flax collection what color/fabric would you use for the stars?
I would probably be inclined to use a gray–I think that would be so pretty. =)
oh shoot. thought I was getting downloadable but I’ll “try” to wait for shipped. Can’t wait to start it!
I just added more PDF’s to my shop so you can purchase whichever version you’d like. 😀
