Spring Brook Blossoms BOM
Good Morning! I am excited to share with you about an upcoming block of the month that I will be hosting, Spring Brook Blossoms BOM.
The fabric requirements will be released on April 5, with the first block pattern releasing April 19. New block patterns will be released on the 3rd Monday of each month. The BOM will last 6 months with the last block and the finishing instructions releasing on September 20. Each month, we will be making two blocks using the same pattern for a total of 12 blocks. The completed quilt will measure 70 1/2″ x 80 1/2″.
I will be using Spring Brook fabrics for my quilt, exactly as pictured at the top of the page. This quilt will be pretty in so many different fabrics, whether from your stash or as an excuse to purchase new fabric.
There is no need to sign up to participate. I will share all of the patterns here…Fabric requirements on April 5, first block on April 19, and new blocks on the 3rd Monday of each month after that.
I look forward to sewing along with all of you! Have a wonderful Wednesday! =) Corey

Wow! This is gorgeous. I am very excited to make it.
Oh man! Just when I made a decision not to start any new quilts until we have moved house this summer as I have over 15 wips BUT I can’t pass this one up, it’s so pretty and would be good to use up even more of my stash before having to pack it away lol
The jelly roll of Spring Brook arrived yesterday.
It’s lovely. Besides needing a background fabric
And borders, will The jelly roll suffice
For making the blocks?
Thank you. Barbara
Beautiful fabric Corey. Currently using it in the FQS Make-A-Wish Quilt. Will this be FQ friendly?
A fat quarter bundle would be plenty of fabric for the flower tops. You would still need green fabric for the flower stems, background, and borders.
Dear Corey, thank you for such a beautiful sew-along! I can’t wait!

Looking forward to this!! Any chance we can find out how much background is needed, and whether this pattern is jelly roll/layer cake/FQ or yardage friendly. I’d like to order some of the fabric sahead , so I can get some in time for the start of this program. Much appreciated
You bet!–I’ll be posting the fabric requirements on April 5 ahead of the start date so there will be time to order and receive fabric. =)

Lovely pattern! I can’t wait to sew along.
beautiful quilt sooo refreshing
I plan to do the sew along and I would like to order some of the fabric and have it on hand for the start. How much background and could you use some fat quarters for the flowers?
The fabric requirements will be posted on April 5 and the first block will release two weeks after that. =) Fat Quarters would be plenty for the flower tops but you will need additional yardage for the flower bottoms. The fabric requirements are not ready to be released yet.
Love the quilt and the fabric.
Sounds like fun, Corey! Thanks for you work to make it possible.
Beautiful quilt! I can hardly wait for the first pattern!

Sounds like fun. Great blocks! Thank you, Corey!
Corey,
My daughters childhood best friend is getting married and adores sunflowers. I would love to make this for her. What would suggest to make it bigger? Increase the amount of blocks and/or a pieced border? This girl is very special to our whole family so I would love to do more than just wide borders to hit large queen size or king.
Thanks, Cari
I love this pattern! It looks so fun and yes Springy! Hoping to be able to follow along!
I’ll be ready! This Fresh and Pretty!!!
I want to make this with Spring Brook, too! Can’t wait to order my fabric

I am adding this to my calendar For another BOM Can’t wait
April 5th is the beginning of my retirement, Thanks for giving me this to look forward to. I have to say I have been collecting fabric for some time now. Yes yours is in 3 tubs. Way back to Lu Lu Lane. I will be following along.
I love this beautiful quilt pattern, purchased my Spring Brook fabric, and am ready to start this fun sew-along.
I need to get fabrics ordered ASAP in order to be ready by April 15– will a fat eight bundle be enough for flowers top? I gather I’ll need more green fir the stems/ background and borders—- just not sure how much I need to add to what I have of your fabrics already… with shipping delivery delays-et-all… the fabric requirements would be good to know… thanks much!! Can’t wait!!
Yeah! I’ve been wanting to make a flower quilt. So perfect.
Beautiful quilt looking forward to sewing along.
Wonderful quilt again. Love this very well!!!
I’m in!!! Love the colors!
I’m so looking forward to this one!
Spring Brook is my FAVORITE fabric line!! I can hardly wait to start. I already purchased a jelly roll and two charm packs. Will I be able to use these in the quilt?
Hello Corey. I just started the Serenity quilt with your new fabric line and I just love it, so I have a half yard bundle of Happy days by Sherri McConnell coming and I think it would look great in your pattern (thank you and love this pattern). Can’t wait for the first block. rubbing my hands together just thinking about it. LOL Have a blessed day!
So glad I came across the BOM! Just signed up! Can’t wait to start going through my fabrics to pick them out.
I just received my fabrics and am excited to get started! Thank you!!!
I’m using spring brook for serendipity, can anyone suggest another line of fabric for this qal
Would a fat eight bundle be enough to make flowers for Spring Brook Blossoms BOM. I love it!
Corey, It’s been a while since I’ve been excited to start a new quilt! Will it be possible to do a small interior border (next to the outer border) instead of using all that white? Or is the white background all included in with piecing the flowers?
