Block Heads Block 49

Welcome to block 49 of this round of the Moda Block Heads Sew Along. =)

This week, our block is brought to us by Lissa Alexander.  You will find the block pattern on her blog here.

I used just two prints this week for my block.  The dark gray is from Apricot & Ash…PS, the reprint for this line has started arriving at quilt shops.  This means these fabrics will be much easier to find for a bit until they sell out again.  If you’ve been looking for them, now is the time to purchase!

The yellow bee fabric in the center is from my upcoming Spring Brook line which is set to ship next month.

Only 7 more blocks to go after this one!  As a designer, we receive the block patterns in advance and I just finished sewing up all of my blocks last week.  They are so pretty all together and now I am working on sewing my quilt top together.  I hope to finish it up this week so I can send it off to my quilter.  This is going to be such a special quilt as it is the one that we’ve worked on for all of 2020.
