Coriander Quilts YouTube Channel

Holliberry Fabrics coming in July

Good Morning Friends and happy Monday.  Today I am excited to share with you about something new I am working on…a Coriander Quilts Youtube channel.

I’ve wanted to start a channel where I can share trunk shows, tutorials, behind the scenes, favorite notions, etc. but have never gotten around to it.  Today, my first video is up as part of the At Home with Moda series.  I am showing and sharing all about Holliberry (which comes out in July).

Holliberry Grays–coming in July

I would love if you would visit my new channel and if it seems like something you might be interested in, give it a subscribe. =)  You will find it on YouTube here.

I’m also interested in your feedback about what you might like to see me include on this channel.  I have a lot of ideas and I really enjoyy hearing about what other quilt makers like to see and are curious about.  So, if you have any suggestions, please leave them in the comments below!

Be back soon! Corey

Oh I’m so excited! I was just wondering over the weekend “I wonder if Corey has a YouTube”! I mostly like to watch trunk shows and also tutorials, even of basic things like how you press, how you get an accurate 1/4”, how you do binding and cutting backings, etc. And I also like tutorials of making certain blocks, especially from some of your patterns!

I absolutely LOVE your Holliberry line & hope I can find a nearby shop who ordered it. I’m thrilled that you’ll have your own YouTube channel because I love your fabrics, your quilts, etc. I’m going to check out your channel right now.

I’m a big fan of yours and looking forward to meeting you this summer in Nashville! Loved the video and all your pretty things. The music was pretty but too distracting for me, so I felt like I missed a lot. Is there a way to omit the music and just hear you?

Your fabrics are very happy, and puts me in the Holiday mood. I have ordered the book on line
and hope to receive it soon.
Nice seeing you and your studio.

Very much enjoyed the video from your studio and seeing all your beautiful fabrics! It put a smile on my face which is what everyone needs. My only 2 comments would be if the video lasted a bit longer and if you could hold up the entire quilts….or at least half at a time. I have already reserved your Christmas BOM and am thinking about the snowman quilt but I would love to see the whole thing. Thank you for your wonderful talent for all us quilters!

Really enjoyed the video! I think that it is a prefect way to introduce newly or about to be released fabric collections and patterns. I will be looking forward to your next video.

  11. Becky Bynum says:

I’d love to see some interesting border options-pieced, wavy, and faux scalloped, and other ideas that would work to enhance quilts. Also something about putting blocks on point and faux on point. I love your fabric!!!

So excited to see your channel! I’m doing the botm through fat quarter shop!

  13. Linda Janovitz says:

Subscribed to your You Tube channel as soon as I read your header and before I read your post!! Always love to see any special techniques or tools used. Also, would love some guidance on making a quilt scrappy without making it look like a drab mess and also some guidance on how to make a quilt pop! Looking forward to your new venture!

I absolutely loved watching your first YouTube video. My only suggestion was that the music continued to play through your presentation and I found it distracting to what you were trying to say. Lol I have a few of your collections and I’m in love with your colors. Keep up the beautiful work and I can’t wait for your next video!

  16. Mary says:

Your fabrics and quilts are beautiful. If you show fabric the camera needs to be up close. Your background for the entire shoot is wonderful but when you show the fabric, the camera needs to come in close. I would watch to see you explain a technique, why certain colors works (values), etc. i hope my suggection is what you requested to hear from us.

  17. Lori says:

Loved the video, but would rather not hear the music. Beautiful fabric line, as always!

  18. Diane Bolles says:

Just gorgeous! I love the grays. It’s my favorite color (or non-color). Looking forward to the next video!

Hi Corey, I am very interested in your YouTube Channel but refuse to use a Google e-mail address. Too bad because I would dearly love to be in on your Holiday line of fabrics and the Fat Quarter Shop’s BOM with you!

  20. I did watch the You Tube presentation–very nice. But without seeming critical, I agrre with some of the other ladies, the music was distracting to the nice job that you did. Maybe the next time, just a softer song if you feel you need the background music. I can’t wait for the fabric to be released and for your next You Tube presentation.

  21. Catherine says:

Hi Corey! I loved seeing you, your studio, and your beautiful fabrics!!! I will be looking into adding some of your fabrics to my collection so I can use them in my next “makes!” I especially love the slates/grey fabrics! I would love to see you do a tutorial on a small project (pillow cover, table topper, pin cushion). I’d love to know if you starch, pre-wash fabric before piecing and what your favorite quilting tools and notions are to use. Thanks so much! Looking forward to your next video!! 🙂

  22. Freda Molenkamp-Oudman says:

Great job on the video!! I really like this line and have my eye on the x print – like you said, it is a great background fabric.

  23. Jeanne Antha says:

You provided a lot of information in a very friendly way, good job. One thing to consider … when you show something smaller, like the fabric with the Xs on it, it would be nice to have someone else hold it closer to the camera so we can see what you’re talking about.

  24. Kim Alley says:

Hi Corey! So excited for your new You Tube channel. I attended a trunk show as well as a big stitch class with you in Columbus, Ohio last year. Love all of your fabric lines as well as quilts and you have such a fun, friendly demeanor. Can’t wait to see what’s coming on You Tube!

  25. Glenda says:

Beautiful fabric line! I would love to a tutorial on binding and see some smaller projects like table runners, wall hangings and table toppers too. Also tutorials on you hand quilting would be great as well! Thank you, love your blog!

I really like this fabric line! the light grey is gorgeous. I really like the Christmas tree quilt pattern. So much to chose from. I just subscribed to your you tube channel.
