Flea Market Fancy Quilt Info.

I’ve received a number of questions recently about the pattern for my Flea Market Fancy Quilt.  I used this free pattern from Moda with a few changes.  I changed the solid squares to the little framed squares–to make this change the white center square is 3″, the print border fabrics are {2} 1.5″ x 3″ & {2} 1.5″ x 5″.  After piecing, the framed squares will be 5″ & you can continue to follow the pattern I referenced.  I also made a slightly smaller quilt which you could choose to do as well–my quilt is 7 blocks by 9 blocks.  I hope this info. helps!

This is such a cute quilt and it would be a great way to use up lots of random scraps with a neutral solid! Thanks for the details!

It’s a beautiful quilt. A Honey Bun would be ideal as well.

Thank you, so creative! I never would have had the vision to do that, obviously, I couldn’t even figure it out looking at the MBS quilt and yours and trying to compare…!

I love this quilt but just confused. Are your blocks sizes including seam allowances or not?

This part: “to make this change the white center square is 3″, the print border fabrics are {2} 1.5″ x 3″ & {2} 1.5″ x 5″ refers to the size to cut the pieces. Once the little framed square is sewn–the finished block size will be 5″–use these 5″ blocks in place of the 5” squares in the original pattern.
