Heartfelt Charity Quilt Auction

Today the auction for my Heartfelt quilt as well as the auctions for the quilts by Pat Sloan, Kimberly Jolly, and Lisa Bongean opens up for bidding on Ebay.

I had so much fun not only designing the Heartfelt quilt for the sew along, but then sewing along with everyone, and now having the fun of auctioning my quilt.  This is such a great event hosted by Fat Quarter Shop!

We have exceeded our fund-raising goal thanks to all of you!  The proceeds from the quilt auctions will also be added to the donation total.

I’ve shared quite a bit about my blocks over the last several months.  I’ve made all of them using a mix of fabrics from my stash…some of my fabrics along with other Moda friends fabrics.

It’s always such a fun sew along to participate in!

If you’d like a chance to bid on my quilt (or any of the others), you can find all of the auctions here.  The auctions will run through September 25 and will be launching throughout this morning.

I also shared a video several weeks back talking about my quilt in more detail before I sent it off to the Fat Quarter Shop gang.  You can catch that video here, if you missed it the first time around.  It shows the quilting up close, as well as the backing and binding.  Speaking of quilting, special thanks to David of Quilting by David who donated the quilting on this quilt as well as Mandy of the Dandy Patch who donated binding services.

If you would still like to make a Heartfelt quilt or cross stitch of your own, the patterns can be found here.

And don’t forget about next year’s charity quilt along.  You can still order the fabric kit to sew along using my Sunwashed fabric collection.  Kit Preorders can be found here.

With the Heartfelt quilt along I know that some people missed out on the preorder and weren’t able to get a kit.  I’m not sure how long the preorder window will be open so don’t miss out.  I really enjoyed designing the Bountiful quilt for next year and I’ll be sewing along with all of you again.  I can’t wait!  It’s like a giant, neighborhood quilting bee. =)

I’m looking forward to next year’s quilt….now, go bid if you’d like a chance to own any of the auction quilts. =)  Good luck! Corey

Hi. Corey, I loved what you said about the Make A Wish quilt along bring like a giant neighborhood quilting bee. Ever since Covid I, like many others, have found a sense of community and connection through quilt Alongs and virtual classes, etc. this is such a great charity too. Can’t wait to see what all the quilts raise for the cause.

    Corey,
Love your quilts as always. I made this years and preordered next years. What is the quilting design on the one you are auctioning?

Hey Friends!--I'd love to hear from you. =)
