Heartfelt Charity Quilt Along Release 5: Lovebug Block & video

The 5th block pattern in the Heartfelt Charity quilt along is available today.  This block is called Lovebug & it’s definitely one to love.  I had so much fun designing all of these blocks and the quilt for the Heartfelt quilt along!

The Lovebug PDF pattern can be found here.

Fabric requirements for the complete quilt can be found here.

Block 1 can be found here.

Block 2 can be found here.

Block 4 can be found here.

All of the patterns for the blocks, the cross stitch patterns, as well as the bonus patterns can be found on this page.  It’s a great one to bookmark so you don’t miss out on anything!

We are 85% of the way to our goal of raising $100,000 for Make-A-Wish Central/South Texas.  A donation of $5 is suggested for each quilt block pattern.

Let’s take a closer look at each of my Lovebug Blocks. =)

For this set of blocks, I used the white on white text print from Coriander Seeds for the background fabric.  I’m using a different white on white print for each set of 5 blocks.  I’m hopeful that we’ll see Coriander Seeds in quilt shops soon…maybe by the end of the month?

My Lovebug blocks use the same sherbet-y, warm fabrics I’ve been using throughout this quilt along.

I have so many fabrics that I enjoy using and it’s always fun to have a project like this that lets me mix and match.

The fabrics in this batch of blocks are a mix of mine, Lella Boutique, and Fig Tree.

I’ve filmed another video sharing these new blocks as well as my Moda Block Head blocks from May.

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day…maybe filled with some fun sewing! =) Corey

I am using Strawberry Jam in my Blockheads Quilt. I had ‘saved’ a fat quarter bundle for something special, and I am super happy with the results! Your blocks are darling.

Your color combinations are beautiful! I really enjoy looking at the fabric choices you make for your blocks. I am also enjoying your YouTube videos! Especially the ones about how you developed your book. Oh, Happy Day has several projects that have moved to the top of my list to sew and quilt. Twinkle and Shine will be a great one for Christmas! That one, Solitude, and Oh, Happy Day are my top 3 choices for now! God bless you for creating and sharing you wonderful works!

Hey Friends!--I'd love to hear from you. =)
