Hip 2 Bee Square January

Happy New Year! Here’s to getting all kinds of projects finished up. =)

I have been a bit incongnito as of late–not gonna make any promises that it won’t happen again but, I’ll see if I can blog a bit more regularly.

The hubster had the week off this past week which always makes things more interesting. Don’t you just hate “weekend” house during the week?–You know, when you have twice as much tidying that needs done because that one extra person makes 3/4 of the mess? Or so it seems–perhaps it’s because I get out of my morning tidying routine & everything just adds up.

I did have some time to finish up my little “stitcheries” to send out for January, my month in Hip 2 Bee square. I was really inspired by Amy’s little embroideries that she send out for one of her quilting bees. So, I got out some paper and doodled up some little stitcheries of my own–flowers,birds, butterflies, birdhouses. It was a lot of fun. It took me a bit to finish them up but they are on the way to be turned into cute 12.5″ blocks. Can’t wait to see what my bee girls come up with! =0)
