Last Blockheads Quilt Block & finished quilt

Today is the last block for Round 2 of Blockheads and it’s my turn to share our final block.

This is Scrappy Checkerboard and it is a 6″ block.  I used Sunnyside Up and Pepper & Flax for my block.

And, I have been just itching to share my completed quilt with you all!–It is such a wonderfully scrappy quilt.

I bound it using a stripe print from my Sugarcreek line of fabric (more on that line later!) so that I could say the quilt uses the first 8 collections I have designed for Moda.

Such a fun quilt!

David of Quilting by David did the quilting for me.

If you missed the lay out instructions here they are again.

I would suggest laying all of your blocks out according to the diagram and then switching around blocks as needed for color and value.
