Beeskeep and Flower Block

Good Morning…it’s week 32 of Moda Block Heads.  Our block, Beeskeep & Flower, is brought to us by Jan Patek.

I was so excited to see this block because I loved the similar block Jan gave us in the first round of Block Heads.  It is probably one of my favorite blocks in that quilt (you can see it in the photo below, second block down on the right side):

I think it is just the cutest block!  I hope that you all have fun stitching it up. =)

In other news, I have been busy, busy working on so many different projects over here…but I have been getting in a little bit of “just for fun” sewing and making the sampler quilt from A Very Coriander Christmas using Apricot & Ash fabrics.

A Very Coriander Christmas quilt in Apricot & Ash

I have really enjoyed working on these and just need more minutes in my day to work on them some more!  I just re-ordered more copies of A Very Coriander Christmas and have signed copies in my shop.  Holliberry fabrics which were used for the original quilt are hitting quilt shops now and Apricot & Ash fabrics are shipping soon.  If you are local to Berlin, Ohio…Plaid Sheep Company just got in the full line of Holliberry yardage last week and Millers Dry Goods has gotten in an assortment as well.
