Moda Blockheads 7: Block 5
What a difference a week makes! You should go look at last week’s backyard picture and compare it to the one above that I just took yesterday. Just a week apart and the leaves are really coming down now!
The leaves are lasting a bit longer than usual this year. I would imagine most likely as we haven’t had very much rain or windy days to bring them down. Instead, we’ve been blessed with beautiful sunshine, blue skies, and mid 70 degree days nearly the whole month of October and now into the beginning of November. It really has been the prettiest fall I can remember having.
Today is another Moda Blockheads block release day. This is block 5 and brought to us by Janet Clare.

I am not piecing this block for my quilt but I will be piecing Block 6 next week (as well as block 7).
If you are having beautiful weather and can take advantage of it, you can always save the block and tuck it away for a rainy day. =)
