New Sunroom Quilt Patterns and Upcoming FUN!

Today it’s all about my new Sunroom quilt patterns including my new Sunroom Sampler Quilt book!

First up, I am sharing about all of these projects over on YouTube in a lot more detail. I’d love to have you come over and chat!

I’m going to begin by chatting about the 4 individual patterns I’m releasing for this collection. (Oh, and just a reminder in case you missed the blog post last week, Sunroom fabrics are showing to quilt shops right now and will be available to purchase in April. Last week’s video showed all of the prints)

First up, let’s talk about Sun Woven. Some of you may recognize this quilt. I’m showing it in a black/tan/gray version over in today’s video as well as in the Sunroom fabrics.

Sun Woven is a perfectly patchwork-y quilt with Ohio Stars thrown in for good measure.

It finishes at 72″ x 84″ and uses 28 fat eights.

David quilted Sun Woven using a 1″ cross hatch. There is nothing like simple cross hatching to really show off a quilt. I love the way it looks on this project.

Love You Lots is another fat eight friendly quilt. It uses 20 of them.

I thought the Sunroom collection was so perfect for this quilt. This is another quilt that I am showing a second option in different fabrics over on the YouTube channel.

David used Geo Hearts on Love You Lots and it’s such a fantastic quilting design for this quilt. Love You Lots finishes at 75″ x 90″.

Sun Twist 2 is the 3rd of my new Sunroom patterns.

Smeesh is the quilting that David used on this quilt. I couldn’t wait to use this quilting design again and Sun Twist 2 was the perfect quilt for it.

I’ve been sharing these quilt photos over on Facebook this week and several people said this quilting design makes the pinwheels look like they are spinning. How perfect is that!

Sun Twist 2 is a layer cake friendly quilt that finishes at 74″ x 91″.

Up next…Barn Star 15!

When I designed the original Barn Star pattern so many years ago, I never imagined I’d be up to 15 of these little guys.

These 40″ square Barn Star quilts have remained a crowd favorite. They are perfect for wall hangings, table toppers, and baby quilts.

David quilted Barn Star 15 using a small scale orange peel design. Isn’t it sweet!

Barn Star 15 is charm pack friendly.

And now onto even more news. Just look how cute!! I have a new book coming out in March. Meet Sunroom Sampler!

Isn’t it the sweetest quilt! This was the first quilt I designed when I sat down to begin working on my Sunroom quilts. I imagined a quilt full of all things Sunroom…a cozy chair, a sleeping kitty, plants, books, flowers, and stars. It’s a room where you can settle in with a good book, a warm quilt, a cup of your favorite drink and let your cares drift away.

In addition to the sampler quilt, I designed 3 additional quilts that feature blocks used in the sampler.

Meet Catnap!

I mean…how cute is that! Little sweetly sleeping kitties are spread throughout this quilt.

We also needed a flower filled quilt…so here’s Suncatcher:

A tisket, a tasket, we have flowers now here’s a basket:

The Sunday Market quilt is the perfect quilt to round out the bunch. The Sunroom Sampler quilt book includes patterns for the four quilts…Sunroom Sampler, Catnap, Suncatcher, and Sunday Market.

Fat Quarter Shop/It’s Sew Emma is turning my projects into a beautiful book that will be coming out in March of 2027. You can place your preorder here.

Also!! Sunroom Sampler is the boxed kit for the Sunroom fabric collection.

The kit includes the fabrics to make the quilt top, binding, and the Sunroom Sampler book. Aaaand!…my 2027 BOM will be the Sunroom Sampler quilt. I will be hosting tutorials on the Coriander Quilts YouTube channel to make all 30 blocks in the sampler. You will need the book to participate. We’ll begin early next summer and the BOM will run for a full year. We’re going to have such fun!

Also Fat Quarter Shop is using Sunroom for their Designer Mystery block of the month for next year. I shared a lot of information about this BOM and how it works in the video today. But here’s a little peek:

And I almost forgot!…Fat Quarter Shop is also kitting up the Catnap quilt. You can preorder it here. The book is sold separately from the Catnap quilt. The kit only includes the fabric for the quilt top and the binding fabric.
