2026 BOM Border 5 Pattern
It’s BOM border #5 day! Only one more month after this one. We are nearing the end friends. After last month’s clue we are really on the home stretch.
This month we are adding a trio of skinny borders to frame out our quilt center. These little skinny borders are small but mighty in the task they play in this quilt. They perfectly frame out all of the hard work you just completed. =)
See how that draws your eye right to the quilt. This is the last month we will be using the contrast and background fabrics. Next month it’s all about the prints.

Over on YouTube today, I am sharing a video you will definitely want to watch. It includes over 100 viewer quilts using our BOM pattern so far. I jist want to thank you and tell you how much I love your patterns, and especially your block of the month projects. I’ve done mystery quilts in the past and been so disappointed in the finished product that I gave up doing them.
However, I decided to try the 2025 Cali & Co block of the month because I loved your fabrics. I was far from disappointed and my finished quilt is one of my favourites! I receive many compliments on the table runner I completed from the extra blocks.

When you sew the strips “end to end”, do you use a straight seam or diagonal (like sewing binding strips together)?
For borders (like in this situation), I sew them with a straight seam. When I use that same terminology but am making binding strips, I sew them diagonally (although I know some quilt makers sew a straight seam for bindings too).

Thanks for the slide show,it is amazing from soft,to bold, modern, country,scrappy even a little Christmasee they’re all in there!
Ok. So I didn’t follow directions (no one would be suprised)…what size of print pieces should I have left? I havebought yardage of one print ” just in case”, but I am scheming and planning and am wondering if I am going to have enough prints.
