2026 BOM Border 3 Pattern

I know those of you that are participating in the 2026 Border-of-the-Month are eagerly awaiting the new pattern today. I won’t keep you waiting any longer!
This month, we are adding a trio of skinny borders which will make up our 3rd border. I used the white on white for the white border strips and my contrast fabric (dark gray) for the middle border strip.

Download the Border 3 pattern here.
The next border pattern will come out on JULY 18.
Last month, I said I would share a new photo of my quilt top in the same spot as I had previously so we could see how much the trees have greened up over the last month.

Here’s the same spot last month:

It’s quite a bit more green. =) I really enjoy our backyard! You might also notice a couple other additions. We’ve added some pretty little lights.

They are so cozy at night! We are still working out a few kinks…this was a little bit of a trial to see if we liked them (we do) and now we need to make sure they stay put. =)
I’d love to have you watch today’s video with the BOM tutorial along with the newest Sewcialites block, a delightful yogurt parfait recipe, a free pattern, and 2 viewer quilts (complete with a viewer mishap), and a new discounted backdrop bundle.
Speaking of the next Sewcialites block….

She’s a cute one!

You can find the pattern for this quilt block here.
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend! Corey

Love your patio/fire pit area with the lights! Oh, and of course I love your quilt too!
NICE
Your backyard looks so cozy…love all the green and the lights.
Beautiful yard and an especially beautiful quilt! Is your background fabric the white on white fabric from In the Garden?
Is it the In the Garden quilt BOM quilt center you are wondering about? If so, yes, that background is the white on white from In the Garden. =)
Hi Corey-I always enjoy watching your video on Saturday morning and thank you so much for all that you contribute to the quilting community. You are always so upbeat and I love the thought of sharing our quilting bloopers. In regards to the granola that you have finally mastered by making oatmeal cookies and then crumbling sounds delicious. Have you ever tried the granola made by Tried & True Granola company made locally in your area in Danville, Ohio? Our favorite is the Double Delight with dark chocolate and pecans. Have a blessed week and look forward to your video next week.
I haven’t tried that kind!
Hi Corey. Thank you for the new Border pattern today. My only question is the new center suppose to measure 36 1/2”. The pattern says 34 1/2”.
The last border is D. That border measures 1 1/2 by 36 1/2 so shouldn’t the center now measure 36 1/2? Is the pattern incorrect? Or am I ? Thank you.
Yes!…36 1/2″ square is correct. =)
I look forward to watching you on Saturday, I love your color palette, thank you for taking the time to share your quilting experience with us
Thanks so much for watching!
Hi Corey, I’m sewing along with this year’s BOM. Love watching you on Saturday mornings. It sets such a positive tone to the day. Thank you for all you do. Silvia S.
Just started the BOM and noticed that when cutting the fabric if you are careful you can get a 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 piece that would work perfect for potato
chip blocks
I’m just starting your BOM with the mini charms(In The Garden) and your white on white Sketch I think. I have two bolts of yours and one is Sketch the other is very similar. Ever since I retired early at the age of 55, I have loved your fabric lines. Before that I didn’t even know about designer lines. I started sewing at a very young age by hand and then graduated to my grandmothers old Singer. I sewed a lot of my clothes when I was in Middle School and High School. After that I sewed a lot of my three children’s clothes. I use to make some pretty cool stuff for them. During that time I started to take classes at various organizations which is where I learned about quilt making. My first quilt was Trip Around the World. Much time has passed and I own way too much fabric. I have three (I think, could be one more) of your fabric lines. Wish I knew about you sooner. Thank you for sharing and just so you know, I have purchased a lot of your patterns and your book “Oh Happy Day”. Love them all.
Best Regards,
Cindy
