Round 4 Moda Block Heads, Block 16
Indiana Puzzle is the 16th block of this round of Moda Block Heads.
It is brought to us by Tammy Vonderschmitt.
The PDF pattern is available here. The link can be found right under the first picture.
I’ve mocked up the block pattern above but I don’t think this is one that I need to make. My setting doesn’t require me to make all of the blocks and I think this might be one I am skipping.
After coloring the block to share with you all…it turned out so pretty, that I might decide I need to make it after all. =) I’ll have to see what happens as we get closer to the end of the sew along this fall.
Have fun sewing this one up! Corey

where can I find the binding lesson you did a few months ago with machine sewing it in place from the front————- Hope you are enjoying the rain we are finally getting here in Ohio—-the yards and gardens really need it—-live near Akron. I always look forward to what you are doing with quilting .
Hey Lena!…I shared that tutorial on my YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/TSom8s63e3U We haven’t gotten as much rain just yet but it looks like it will be raining more this afternoon…our yard needs it!
Corey I don’t get drop box & do want block 15. Highland Plaid. Any tiger way I can get that.
Yes!…the Moda Block Heads archive: https://modafabrics.com/inspiration-resources/blockheads-4-archive Be sure to bookmark that spot if you haven’t yet. It’s a running list of all of the blocks released so far.
This is a first time doing these blocks. I hate scan qtr. inch. I just wish patterns were 1/4 ” I have gotten my stitch down. It is really frustrating for someone who really wants to do good and has to keep measuring and ripping it out. I will succeed. This is my project for this year.
You will notice the more quilts and blocks that you make that some patterns will say to use a scant quarter inch and some won’t even when the patches are cut at the same size. We don’t need to change our seam allowance size from one block to the next…as long as you have an accurate 1/4″ seam allowance whether you call it scant or not…you are good to go. =)
Is there a bonus block this week?
No, there is not.
