Scrappy Clover Block PDF Pattern
It’s time for another Scrappy Irish Chain update. Just like last month, I’m sharing another fun quilt block that you could use to bust some more of your scraps if you wanted to along with my Scrappy Irish Chain block update. I think this Scrappy Clover block is so cute!
Last month, I shared a verbal pattern for a Scrappy Heart block in my Scrappy Irish Chain Update video.
If you missed that block information, you’ll find verbal instructions for how to piece the block in this video. There is no written pattern for the Scrappy Heart block; the information you need is in the video. (UPDATE: The Scrappy Heart Block is now available in a PDF pattern as well…you can download it here: Scrappy Heart block PDF Pattern.
For this month, I have a downloadable PDF pattern for the Scrappy Clover block. I also walked through the pattern in today’s video.
You will find the Scrappy Clover block PDF pattern here.
You will find today’s Scrappy Irish Chain update video here.
Just like with the Scrappy Heart block, the Scrappy Clover block creates a very nice secondary pattern when the blocks are put together. Here’s what the Scrappy Heart block looked like if you missed it:
These are both such fun blocks to use up some more of your scraps if you have some left over from piecing your Scrappy Irish Chain blocks. If you’ve missed any of the videos for the Scrappy Irish Chain scrap-along, you can find the playlist of videos here.
Have a wonderful weekend! Corey
This is so cute and four would be perfect for a wall hanging! Thank you for the PDF, I’ll save it for when I have more scraps.
Perfect!
Thank you.
You’re welcome!
I love it! Thank you for sharing this, I would love to make a table runner. I broke my foot so sewing isn’t on my agenda but when I can put weight on it, that is what I’d love to do with some of my green scraps.
It would make a beautiful runner. I hope your foot heals quickly!
Corey I am a hand quilter from my early years and life get in the way sometimes, BUT, I have recently returned to my “hobbie” as I have headed into my early retirement….learning to machine quilt and using all the “things” has been so much fun, really expensive, but you and your lines are something that are recognizable from the get go…when ever I see a fabric or a line, I can instantly tell if it is a Corey Yoder design….and I am naturally drawn to it….thank you for what you do…it has made me super excited to try out some of your beautiful patterns….I am currently hunting down out of print left overs of your beautiful fabrics, I love jelly rolls and charm packs so always on the hunt…thanks again and keep up the good work I love your color prowess….it tickles my fancy…keli
I agree 100%! I can spot her fabric anywhere! Thank you, Corey!☺️
You are so welcome Toni!
This is the nicest comment Keli!…thank you so much. It’s a lot of fun to create the fabrics and use them myself and then get to see how everyone else uses them and what all gets made!
Why are these so adorable when I don’t have time to play “just for me”??? Absolutely love them with those glorious secondary patterns.
You can file them away for “when I have a spare moment”. =)
I have!
I don’t know how it took me so long to find your YouTube channel and blog – I’ve long enjoyed your fabrics – but I’m enjoying it all so very, very much! Thanks for the joy you bring to us!
Loved the hearts and clovers!can we look forward to scrappy April? They make nice themed table toppers for a small table😊
I’m not sure how often I’ll have releases in this series but there will be more. =)
Thank you, Corey! So generous of you ❤️
You’re so welcome!
Thank you for the PDF. It’s such a great resource for when I have more time to sew. Darn work!😊
That pesky work LOL! =)
I hope I’m not out of line, but I want to see more of the Peachy Keen! Did I miss something?
I haven’t shared anything about it here on the blog yet but I have been sharing this week on Instagram and Facebook if you want to take a peek. =) The blog posts will go up at the same time the videos go up so they will be just a bit yet.
Thank you, both the heart and clover gave me a fun idea. I need to make one block a month that resembles each month then put the 12 blocks into a quilt.
That would be fun!
We enjoy seeing your Kitty but we love seeing you too!
Thank you!
I have an Irish friend who says the shamrock has to be 3 pronged.
Could you redesign it as such?
Thanks!!
This is a 4 leaf clover block as opposed to a shamrock block. =) If you were looking for a shamrock block, you can google “shamrock quilt block” and various options pop up.
Love the heart quilt. Missed the PDF.
Could you email me the link
There is no PDF for the heart block, the block instructions were shared verbally in this video: https://youtu.be/su7FTR87Nqc
Thank you, Corey, for the clover block pattern. I have so much fig tree greens that I could use for this and even better, my anniversary falls on St. Patty’s day. Thank you!!
