Sewcialites Block 29
Welcome to week 29 of the Sewcialites quilt along. =)
This week, our block is brought to us by Barb & Mary of Me & My Sister Designs. I adore this little basket block…it is springy and cute and just perfect in Spring Brook fabrics.

So the block you posted today looks like the hst’s are elongated. True? is that on purpose so that the blocks can be trimmed to size? Just curious! Mimi
I think you might be referring to the seam allowance? You never want the points of your HST’s going all the way to the edge of your block…it must be 1/4″ away from the edge or you will lose all of your points when you sew the blocks together.
