Sew New to Me VQB Quilt Top Finished
My goal today was to finish up at least one of the quilt tops that I need to get done. This was the one that I decided on–my Sew New To Me VQB quilt top. You’ll remember that I asked each of the girls to make blocks featuring squares & half square triangles using this pallette:
I got back such an array of blocks–I opted to frame each one in Kona Charcoal to really spotlight each block. I like how that added such a nice “pop” to the overall quilt. I think that I’m going to bind the quilt in the Kona as well. I haven’t decided what I feel like for the backing–by the time I get to the backing I am ready to be done–so, we’ll see what happens. =)
Love it Corey!!! The charcoal Kona is perfect to frame each block… you've got excellent taste my dear! 😉
Beautiful! I love how you outlined each block – they each pop out like a little masterpiece.
That is, WOW. Just WOW! Amazing. I vote for turquoise on the back (6th one down in your stack of fabrics).
Beautiful! The Kona charcoal against the white is perfect.
Jennifer 🙂

Nice! I really love the colors & all the patterns too.
Love the range of colours you chose, and what fabulous blocks!
It looks fabulous!
Really nice way to put together a sampler!
Love the color palette you chose and how you pulled all the blocks together when you set them. Beautiful!
Wow is that gorgeous! So subtle and sophificated – you're good lady!
[course, everyone should know how to spell sophisticated before you use it]
This is stunning. The charcoal frame works beautifully.
Love!
