Sew New to Me VQB Quilt Top Finished

My goal today was to finish up at least one of the quilt tops that I need to get done.  This was the one that I decided on–my Sew New To Me VQB quilt top.  You’ll remember that I asked each of the girls to make blocks featuring squares & half square triangles using this pallette:
I got back such an array of blocks–I opted to frame each one in Kona Charcoal to really spotlight each block.  I like how that added such a nice “pop” to the overall quilt.  I think that I’m going to bind the quilt in the Kona as well.  I haven’t decided what I feel like for the backing–by the time I get to the backing I am ready to be done–so, we’ll see what happens. =)
