Sugarcreek Quilt Patterns Part 1
Good Morning!–Today I am going to start introducing you to the new Sugarcreek quilt patterns.
I am going to share them with you in three parts. First the quilts made from the Sugarcreek Prints, then the quilts made using the Sugarcreek wovens and lastly, the quilts made using both.
First up is Loveliness:
Loveliness is a Fat Eighth Friendly quilt that finishes at 68″ x 85″. Did you know that fat eighths can be cut at 9″ x 22″ or 11″ x 18″? Same amount of fabric but a different fat eighth size. I always design my fat eighth patterns to use 9″ x 22″ which is the size used in a Moda Fat Eighth bundle.
Loveliness was quilted by Quilting By David. I used the large scale peachy pink print on the back and finished it off with a diagonal stripe. I love including stripes in my lines just for that binding. A diagonal stripe gives the illusion of bias binding but can be cut straight across the width of the fabric. The Loveliness pattern is available to purchase here.
Next Up is Barn Star 4.
Barn Star 4 is the fourth pattern in my Barn Star series. This is a 40″ x 40″ wall hanging sized quilt.
I’m especially excited about the addition of this pattern because it means you can combine all 4 of my Barn Star patterns into one larger 80″ x 80″ square quilt. This is what they look like combined:
As I designed the Barn Star quilts, I knew I wanted to combine them all upon the release of the last pattern. I love how fun they are all mixed together. I have each Barn Star pattern listed individually in my shop but I also have a discounted bundle rate as well. Here’s the link to the PDF set and I also have it available in a Paper set. Barn Star 4 was also quilted by David. The individual Barn Star 4 pattern is available to purchase here.
And then, I’ve made an updated Sugarcreek version of Jelly & Jam.
Jelly & Jam is a quick to piece jelly roll quilt. It finishes at 60″ x 72″ and comes together quickly. I love a good jelly roll quilt–and there is nothing like cutting down on some of that cutting. =)
Jelly & Jam is such a fun quilt to piece. David also quilted this one for me. The Jelly & Jam pattern can be purchased here.
And last up, is a new cover for an old classic:
My Dashing quilt has been reprinted so many times and it was time for a new cover. I released this pattern with my very first fabric line, Prairie.
This quilt pattern has been a very popular pattern. It is a Fat Eighth quilt that finishes at 60″ x 72″. The Dashing quilt pattern can be purchased here.
I haven’t updated the cover on the Mini Dashing pattern but just look how cute. Mini Dashing Quilt pattern can be purchased here.
All of my new patterns are in my Etsy shop in either Paper or PDF format. I have several pattern bundles available at a discounted rate for anyone interested in purchasing a full pattern set. And don’t forget code FREESHIP to receive free shipping on orders of 2+ patterns. Oh, and my $5 monthly pattern is Make It Modern.
This is the scrappy version of Make It Modern using a mix of my fabric lines.
I will be back to share more new patterns later! Have a wonderful Tuesday! Corey
