Bountiful Charity Quilt Along: Block 1
The wait is over! The first block of the Bountiful Charity quilt along is now available to download for those of you that did not purchase a kit for this quilt along. It’s not too late to purchase the kit featuring Sunwashed fabrics if you want to. =)
You can download the Basket Block Pattern here.
If you are unfamiliar with the Bountiful Charity Quilt along, you can read all about it in this blog post.
For my quilt this year, I will be using fabrics by Camille Roskelley…mostly Dwell with a little bit of Nantucket Summer.
While I don’t have a video planned for today, I will be sharing my blocks in my monthly WIP video. Be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel to see me chat about them in that upcoming video. =) Kimberly of Fat Quarter Shop will be sharing a tutorial on how to piece this block tonight on the FQS YouTube channel if you need any guidance on the piecing of this block.
These blocks were a lot of fun to piece. It’s always so much fun to design the quilt, and then more fun happens when I get to piece the blocks and then see all of you piecing your blocks too. =)
Additionally, if you are cross-stitching along with the Bountiful stitch along, the first stitch-along pattern has been released as well.
It can be found here.
I hope you have a wonderful time sewing/stitching your Bountiful Basket blocks! Corey
I am excited to do this! Beautiful colors and patterns.
Let the fun begin! I’ve starched my fabric for this first block so I’m ready to go! 🙌
I am beyond excited to start this cutie! I can’t remember when a line of fabric has made me smile more!! Thank you for your bright and cheerfulness.
I am following along and using my stash for this one as I have an extensive selection and trying to use what I have for now, maybe a reward to myself to buy a new collection in the near future. :o) Enjoy your videos, Corey, and your fantastic quilt designs!! m
Love this quilt! You are such a blessing to the quilting community and a special blessing to the Make A Wish Children here in Texas. Thank you so much for having such a giving heart Corey!
Getting ready to make my Block 1. So looking forward to start working on this beautiful quilt. Corey, I really like the fabric you’re using for your quilt.
Can give a list of the dwell fabrics you will be using
