January 2023 WIPs Video & Giveaway

It’s time for another WIP/UFO chat over on YouTube. =)  I’m surprised how quickly January has zipped by and here we are already!

In the January 2023 WIPs video,  I chat about some quilt blocks I found (surely I am not alone in finding an extra pile of quilt blocks every now and then!), my Sewcialites blocks, and we finish up the video with a fun giveaway.

It is time to move these pretty blocks and block pieces onto a new home!  I always enjoy letting someone else enjoy one of my WIPs if I know that I am not going to finish it.  And this is one such project!

Giveaway is now CLOSED

If you’ve watched the video and would be interested in receiving this WIP, leave a comment on this blog post with how many WIPs (works in progress) you think you might currently have.  Don’t worry…I have many of my own!—your number isn’t too high. =)  I’ll leave the giveaway open through January 27 (11:59pm EST) and announce a winner here next Saturday, January 28.

Have a wonderful Saturday! Corey

I have more quilt tops finished that need quilted (15-ish). Takes me longer to figure out how I want to quilt them so they sit and simmer while I decide. I quilt them on my domestic machine. I love piecing!

I currently have 3 WIPs (works in progress).

  6. Ramona Gallenbeck says:

I have way too many, I need to quit buying fabric. I did finish 31 quilts last year so my ufo’s ages are down to the last 3 years. I have 19 without starting anything new but what fun is that? Thanks Corey for the videos, I love seeing Tiggs too!

Oh my really? 😂 It’s ironic. I have just tried to organize and really take stock and list where I am and prioritize. Some are very close, Others not so much. So I have 16 written down and another 17 I have fabric and patterns to match and 5 to bind and Bountiful is ordered. Still cleaning, organizing, and letting go.

If you count tops waiting to be quilted, about 20, but if you don’t count them, only about 3 or 4. I haven’t used my longarm too much for the past year because it is downstairs and I just had a total knee replacement in the summer of 2022 and am scheduled for the other one in march this year.

  37. grace g lewis says:

love all I learn from you

  38. Linda says:

Currently I have 7 WIPs in various stages. 3 have been quilted & just need binding. I really don’t know why I let those 3 sit but they WILL get done before the end of June. I guess finding patterns, material and then piecing are my favorite parts!

Just finished piecing Jelly Sticks!! 2 more WIP to go. Thanks for the opportunity to win those beautiful fabrics and pattern. Outside my comfort zone but would love it.

  45. Danielle Fortin says:

I currently have 4 quilt tops done but not quilted and at least 7 others quilts planned and ready to be done. As WIP, I keep scrap fabric in a box for crazy blocks. When I don’t know where to start, I make one of those blocks.

  46. Jamie Cruse says:

If I counted correctly I have 17 WIPs. hoping to get that number wayyy down this year. I’m participating in the American Patchwork and Quilting UFO challenge and hopefully I can get that down to at least 6-9 by 2024. It seems like a long way away as we just started the year but it’ll be here before you know it lol.
So excited about the new fabric line! If you need testers I’d be more than happy to help out (teehee)

  47. Stephanie says:

  54. Erin Sedlacek says:

You are such a joy every video! You make me smile and I am so inspired by your cheer and warm spirit. I decided I wanted to quilt last year and have thrown myself all in completing 50 projects last year and improving my skills with each one. There are some late nights and early mornings, but with 6 kids ages 4-10, those are sometimes the only hours to do it! I currently have 13 works in progress… most of them BOM as then I can just do little bits at a time. I am sewing like crazy now until the weather warms as when it does it becomes go time on the farm and the fields call! Thank you again for sharing your joy for quilting…. I love it in your fabrics as well as in your videos!

  55. Rachel M says:

    Hi Corey!

I have been working hard to get caught up on my WIPs! I currently have 5 projects left and hope to have them all completed soon. Thanks for all you do!

  59. Susan Lee says:

Hi Corey! Well let’s see…🤔…I have 2-3 quilts to bind, 4-5 that need quilting, one too I’m actively working on and 7-8 in the wings waiting to be started. Then I have a duvet cover I’m making for a friend, a pair of slacks my other friend wants me to hem, and probably a couple other things in the pile. Sounds like enough to keep me busy for awhile!!

  60. Billie Kaye Harms says:

I have 10 WIPs waiting yo be done. I love your 3 in Sewoicialte blocks!

  63. Cate C says:

    Here’s my tally – 5ish total
2 quilt tops that have been waiting for months to be sandwiched (my least favorite part of the process).
1 table set (2 out of 4 placemats done and the table runner cut but not pieced)
EPP a couple hundred hexes are basted – this just keeps my hands busy on my meal breaks at work, no solid plans for these yet
A quilt kit just purchased but haven’t opened it yet. Does that count?

  64. CasandraFinlay says:

So far, my WIPs is only 4… that I know of! I didn’t count the BOM or QALs. Those are supposed to be ongoing WIPs that are scheduled 😆

  67. Oh geez! I know I have 6 WIPs for sure. And, probably 10 that are kitted and ready to go. I am down to only one that needs quilting and binding though! Sadly, it has been a sandwich for probably 6 years…I really want that one done this year. I love the colors of the blocks you have completed. Very sweet of you to give them up. I am excited to see what you have been working on!
Give Tiggs a hug, he was cracking me up nibbling on you…silly boy!

Wow, feel much better after reading these comments. I have a total of 8 WIPs, 6 are tops just waiting to be quilted, and 2 are tops slowly moving to the finish line. New year’s resolution, get at least 2 tops quilted.

Absolutely love the fabric choices for the Irish chain. I don’t use navy that much, seeing it here seems to sharpen the muted shades.

The polka dot Dresden that you started 10 YEARS ago! Wow. Finishing it now, it would be interesting to see if you change your original plan for the final quilt. Looking forward to seeing it finished.

  75. Pam Ahlvers says:

Good morning! I thought the rules of the quilting game is whomever had the most WIPs wins. LOL

  76. Amy says:

I have 4 WIP’s and 2 BOM that Im behind on…..🙃. Hoping to get more free time!!! Love watching your videos!!

  77. Elizabeth Smith says:

I haven’t counted my WIP’s but more than I should have. I am telling myself this is the year to get most of them done. I love the blocks and colors in your giveaway. You are such an inspiration for me to get things done.

  78. Roxy Seh says:

Hi Cory, I have at least 6 quilt tops that I need to quilt and bind, but I would live to win your wip, what an honor and pleasure to finish your beautiful work thank you for giving us all an opportunity to get the chance to win something beautiful started by you❤.

  79. Jaylene B. says:

I loved watching your video. Such cute dresden blocks! I have at least 26 WIP that I want/need to finish up. I doubt I will get them all done this year.

  80. I currently have 9 WIPS’s, 4 of which are wool appliqué’, plus I have 5 quilts that need to have binding. I retired a year ago, so I’ve joined some BOM’s that have increased my WIP’s.

  81. rcpono says:

I’ve recently been organizing my fabric closet and I think I could probably sew for a year without buying anything! I discovered I have 10 BOM’s I need to complete as well as 20 or more quilts kits! I should probably think about rehoming some of mine!

    • Pattie says:

I have 3 quilts in current progress. Also stitching up a bag for my sister…I have had for a year now. There are 6 other works of art in project bins need finishing.
And lots of projects I have not cut…..
You are such an inspiration. Thank you for taking time to share with us. I have started a charm pack collection of your fabrics.

  82. Shandy Staggs says:

I am currently going through one of my WIP totes right now! Working on a lone star with a lonely forgotten jelly roll 😊. If I count the ones stewing around in my brain I think I probably have 10-20 WIP!

  83. Paula Kaye says:

Hi Corey! I would love to add your WIP to my WIP’s that probably number over 20! I have to get to work on them, but then so many new things come out!! ❤️🤣

  84. Tami says:

There are 4 WIPs in my sewing room…all started in January. I’m not counting the finished tops hanging near the longarm!!!🥴

  85. Kathy Darley says:

I love your YouTube videos! ❤ I’m always learning something new from you. There are at least a dozen wips in my quilt room. That’s not including the 30+ tops that need to be quilted. So many ideas. I have always wanted to make a quilt like your giveaway and it’s in the fabric style and colors I use most often. Many of my quilts are given to family, friends and charity. Thank you for all your beautiful work ❤

  86. Nancy says:

I have 2 ongoing WIPs. Tula Pink Butterfly QAL and the Scrap Irish Chain inspiredby you. Also a few long term scrap busters. And a long list of Quilts I want to make but haven’t started yet. I’m more of a start to finish maker.

  87. JP says:

I got rid of my WIPs a couple years ago, so I only have the 1 project I am currently working on. A miracle, right! My space has gotten much smaller so I have to either finish or get rid of. I’m almost done with the one I’m working on, so acquiring a WIP someone else (especially someone famous like you!) has already cut sounds wonderful as cutting isn’t always the fun-est part.

  88. Laurel Huyvaert says:

I have 4 current WIP’s.. I have a retreat coming up in 3 weeks and am only taking unfinished items to work on. Nothing new, but am tempted to.
Would be happy to add your WIP to my list.

    Love your videos and Tiggs.

  89. Lisa says:

Corey, I love your videos and the happy fabrics you use. I say I’m a Covid quilter since I finally found the time to learn to quilt when the world shutdown for the first few months of Covid, been hooked ever since. YouTube videos are so helpful for a newbie! I have a few WIP and would love to finish this quilt.

  90. Melissa Wriglesworth says:

I have been wanting to make a granny square quilt. This might be a jump start. I enjoy your YouTube videos very much. Thanks for taking the time to do them.

  91. Karen Seedig says:

I have 6 WIPS right now! 4 are really finished-I just need to send them to be quilted and then bind them! I seem to procrastinate at that point. I would love to finish your WIP. The colors are beautiful!

  92. Rose Landon says:

I have 17 and this is my year to finish at least half of them. I’m trying real hard to stay focused and not start any more.

  93. Paula Smith says:

Thank you for showing us all the fun stuff! Love your fabric❤️

  94. Kris says:

Ive currently got 3 WIPs….and 2 at the quilter. I love the granny squares giveaway! It looks like a color pallet I could add my grandmothers apron fabrics too! Looking foward to your next video!

  95. Sarah Rihm says:

I am still new to quilting ( have been sewing a long time) and have several WIPs. I appreciate that you are patient about finishing projects as I find that life sometimes changes my plans to sew. I would love the opportunity to finish your quilt top! Thank you!

  96. Alesha Byrd says:

    I have 4 wips

  97. Karla Salomonsky says:

I would love to finish your project! It’s beautiful!💕

  98. Tammra Neese says:

I don’t count it as a WIP/UFO unless I have started cutting into it! Hahaha! I have a ton of projects in totes, but most I haven’t yet started. Just all the supplies gathered! But I have a good number of WIPs as well. Let me count and I’ll be right back 😉 12! Some are really close! This is one of my focuses this year! Thanks for your awesome and encouraging videos! Your fabrics and designs are also inspirational!

  99. Patty says:

I really did a lot of finishing up during the pandemic and down to 4 WIP.

  100. Gigi RO says:

Corey, you are such an inspiration! I love your Scrappy Irish Chain quilt pattern. I didn’t start one because as a longarmer, I really don’t have that many scraps and only three WIPs of my own. I would appreciate the opportunity to complete your WIP and share it with our local women’s shelter. I’m happy to share pictures upon completion. Let me know if you have a preferred longarm pattern you would like to see on it.

    Warm regards from Greenacres Florida,

    Gigi Ro

  101. Vicky says:

I have 4 unfinished projects, one I need to catch up with sew along. Enjoy watching your videos and excited to see new fabrics! Have a great day!

  102. Margie Boyd says:

Hi Corey, i just started back quilting and i quilt one at a time i have bought fabric but have no specific plans yet, lol. Thankyou for sharing your quilts,

  103. Rita Long says:

I have 5 works in progress. Love the fabric you have chosen for the blocks. Just my style. Thank you for all your encouraging videos and posts.

  104. Kathy says:

I have to—— many to name WIP’s

  105. Dawn Benson says:

I must have about a dozen wips. I always try to go through them before I start a new project to avoid the “guilt” of an unfinished project 🙃 I would love a chance to complete the confetti, they are my color wave. Thanks for sharing and love your videos.

  106. Jane Noble says:

I have at least 10 WIPs at this time. Hope to get them all done in 2023!!

  107. lynn Morton says:

I have 3 WIP! I just started quilting a couple years ago and couldn’t understand how people would start something and not finish it before the next project! Well I soon found out! So 2 years later I have a rule I gave myself! I have 4 baskets, and I can’t start a new quilt until a basket is empty! The best part of the rule is that I made it and I can break it!🤣

I love your WIP. I love the colors and I love Granny Squares. I could break my rule and add a 5th basket!😉

  108. Yikes. I probably have a dozen WIPs. Some are mine and some were given to me by my MIL. I would love to have one of yours! I am sure the quality of sewing would be much better than mine!

  109. Anna Rutledge says:

Omg I haven’t officially counted but because I moved across the country from Ohio to Colorado 1 1/2 years ago, I was forced to pack up all my quilting WIPs. So, combined with those moved plus what I’ve sewn in Colorado, I would guess at least 15-20 WIP’s. Lol and I have so many more planned. Wish I could get as motivated to finish them as I do to start them. Got any good suggestions to help me get motivated to finish?

  110. m sarchfield says:

This would be a fabulous pattern and group of fabrics to win. And including blocks you have made…extra score. Wips – I have probably 6 or so big quilts I have started and left for other ideas. This happens mostly for Christmas stuff…easy to sew in the winter…Spring/Summer much harder to focus.

  111. I have roughly 4 WIPs. – a couple are with fabrics I am no longer that “into”, but will finish them one of these days and give them to friends. Does WIPs also include the fabrics and patterns you’ve purchased but haven’t cut out yet? – Cause I’ve got about 10 of those! Every time I go to Miller’s Dry Goods I buy precuts. I think they have the best selection of all the quilt shops I have visited.

  112. Kori says:

I have 9 WIPs! My goal is to get them finished this year and not buy anything new ( or very little😉 wink). Three of them are BOM so not as bad….I guess. I love the fabrics in your giveaway. The blocks are so pretty!

  113. Gail Whitaker says:

Good morning, Corey! I love your videos and learn so much from you. Thank you so much for what you do for all of us quilters. I have probably eight WIPs going on but three of them are t-shirt quilts for my three granddaughters that graduate this May. So they will be completed by then.

  114. Judy Raterink says:

I think I have about 20. After the weekend the number might go up. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work. Would love to finish your WIP.

  115. Rose says:

I decided January is going to be the month I work only on wip. So far I’ve finished 5 tops. I still have 7 but they won’t get finished. February is when I’ll get the long arm going to quilt the 5 finished tops. I did sneak in the sewcialites blocks and a baby quilt for grandchild #17!

  116. Karen Apfeldorf says:

I have 2 that just need binding and 3 tops that need finished. Binding is my least favorite!

  117. Anita O’Neil says:

I have 5 works in progress. The main one I am working on right now is a shoebox full of triangles given to me by a friend who found them while cleaning out her sister’s house when she died. These were from their mother. My friend told me to do whatever I wanted to with them-a hospice quilt maybe. It is now 2 years later and my friend’s son-age 43-passed away from cancer about a year ago. She has had a really hard time dealing with his passing. I was looking for a project to do a couple weeks ago and stumbled upon this shoebox. Let me tell you, you have no idea how many triangles can fit in a shoebox! I have used about 1500 and there are at least that many left. Anyway, I have decided to give the quilt to her. She has her son’s dog and if she doesn’t want to use it, the dog can lay on it!!

  118. Yvonne Farraway says:

I would love to finish your quilt, Corey! Right now I have 2 wip’s that I am working on. Hope to get them done soon. Thank you for this give away. I love all your fabrics. I bought buttercup and slate for a future project.

  120. Robin Taylor says:

I like to call some of mine “kits” that I have all ready to be sewn lol. 2 ready for a retreat next month and 1 of those is the scrappy Irish chain. I did 25 scrappy log cabin blocks so some day that will be a quilt. A bunch that are ready to be quilted either by hand or machine. This is something that has only happened to me in the last year or so, I used to start and finish a quilt before I moved on to the next, but there are just so many beautiful fabrics and patterns now.

  121. Liz Roberts says:

Oh dear. I have at least 50 WIP because many of the tops are done but they aren’t quilted yet. I am actively sewing 4 quilt tops right now.

I have 3, but have finished 2 already in 2023

  123. Susan M Vissari says:

Good morning! That fabric in the giveaway, is GORGEOUS!!! I always enjoy your videos, because you are always so cheerful and uplifting. I probably have at least 10 works in progress, and way more than that in my head, that I want to do.😂😂😂

  127. I have 10 W.I.P.s. most just need quilted and bound. 3 need piecing completed. Your fabrics are all so happy and cheerful. I love sewing with them. Especially during a brown Missouri winter.

  128. Audrey Bonar says:

Someone is going to be so lucky to be able to finish your quilt ❤️ I think I’ll halt the scrappy Irish chain until I get more scraps, I’m just not happy with the fabrics I purchased for it. Thank you for all you do for the quilting community Corey!

  133. Tamie K Zolman says:

I have about 8 WIP although some are block of the month that are in progress. You are definitely not along in finding unfinished blocks. I was cleaning my sewing room a few months back and found a set of completed red and white log cabin blocks. Of course I had to stop cleaning and sew them together. LOL I would love the opportunity to finish your quilt top for you. Thank you for all your inspiration.

  141. Paige Murphy says:

I currently have about 20 or so WIPs going on! Nearing completion on about 10 of them…just need to send them off to the quilter…

I have to say I absolutely love the fabric you chose and the granny square is my favorite block…probably because that’s the first one my grandmother taught me to make. So, it’s always had a special place in my heart.

Regardless of who wins, someone will end up with a beautiful quilt to enjoy! And I would love to see the finished quilt once it’s completed. I’m sure it’s going to be stunning!

  142. Anita M Zierman says:

Hi Corey! Currently I’m machine quilting the Liberty Star quilt using Edyta Sitar’s Noel fabric line. I put extra borders so it will fit on my bed. At any rate, I have 4 WIP’s waiting for me.

  143. Lorri says:

I have two queen sized quilts I’m hand quilting and then I’ll be caught up. I want to do some scrappy fabric mixed media journal covers next. I’d love to finish this quilt you started. I made my sister a granny squared quilt and it was so much fun. Thank you for your generosity in sharing.

  144. Melissa Zahn says:

  149. Julia Austin says:

OMG- I can’t even begin to count WIPs- 13 need binding and 15 need quilted. I’m gonna guess at least 30 have been started – cut and some sewing done. I may have a problem!

  150. Jocelyn says:

I know I have 2 actual works in progress. I have a couple more that just need borders or quilting.

  151. Patricia Ritter says:

I have 3 quilts in progress, 3 tops that need quilting and at least 5 in my head that want to be made. As long as there are motivators like you, there is no way that I will ever catch up. Thanks for your willingness to share.

  152. Renita Tanski says:

At this point in time, I will say that I have 6 projects that are in various stages of being completed. Anywhere from bindings to block and top completion is where I am at. I have been looking for a “grannie square’ for a while. Yours is right up my alley!

  153. Juli Macht says:

Presently, I have three WIP. Two I began last year that are scrappy, so still sourcing scraps for them and the third is a fabric collage called “Baby Buddha; enlarged from a photo of the grandson when he was about 18 months. 163. Jessica King says:

I totally remember the Flickr BOM/Color themed swaps. That’s when I was first entering the quilting world, coming from children’s garments. WIP’s count = easily a dozen if not more. I’d love to be entered into your giveaway and take on another!

  174. Patti Guevara says:

I have 2 WIP’s (I like to keep at a minimum) – I love your pattern and colors!

Th am you for all your inspiration!

  181. Joyce Bean says:

I think this pattern is gorgeous as is the color choices. I currently have a king size pineapple pp quilt and a Pioneer Woman fabric throw I’m making for my daughter. I’m also working on my fabric storage and putting them onto comic book boards so they can be stored where they can be seen and not forgotten. I’m a self taught quilter and still have so much to learn. I’d be honored if you chose me as the recipient of your WIP! Thank you.

  182. Karen I says:

  186. Toni Castle-Buss says:

Hi! I’m only in my second year of quilting. The only WIP I have is a Christmas quilt I didn’t want to rush this past season as it was a skill stretch for me. 187. Lois A Pfiefle says:

I have tried very hard to finish ufo’s in the past year. I’m down to 4! Wow! I never count fabric gathered for a new project until it’s cut. If I did that….I would never get done. Here’s to a new year!

  188. Granny Squares are on my bucket list, but haven’t made one yet. How wonderful to bypass the fabric pulling and getting right to making these beautiful blocks. I hope I win this WIP giveaway!

  193. Sheila K Craft says:

I’ve been afraid to count how many WIPs I have! It’s probably in the neighborhood of 20-25 and they aren’t small projects. Covid kept me from getting many of them to the Long Arm quilter and now I feel a bit overwhelmed – Ack! I really enjoy your video’s, Corey.

I found several unfinished projects, but am more concerned about the mountains of fabric I’ve acquired during the years I wasn’t able to sew because, you know, life. I’m back at it now.

Thank you for your videos. They encourage me to keep sewing.

  200. Karen McMahon says:

I have around 15 WIPs. I am trying to get them done but it is so easy to get distracted. For instance, I see a cute granny squares quilt some one started and I would love to finish it!

  201. Karen Moore says:

Hi Corrie I do the most weird things when quilting. Even though I have UFOs if I see a quilt on YouTube it’s fun to join in with others as there are no quilters I know in my small town to quilt with. That way I can feel like I’ve company. I’d be honored to have your scraps as I know I’d work on this as soon as it arrives. Ohhhh life is great.

  202. Connie H Vaughan says:

I am just beginning to get started with quilting. My grandmother was a awesome quilter. Very old school. Life was busy so never had time but now I’m making time. I love your lines of fabric. I have probably 6 WIP’s. Your videos are always helpful. Thanks

I probably have 5 WIP. Close to finishing a couple. One of my very first quilts was a UFO that my friend wasn’t going to finish so she gifted it to me. What a blessing! It was a pieced boat (complete with cardboard templates lol) that I made for my little boy. (He’s 28 and still has it.) Her kindness started me on my future love of quilting!

  205. Donna Klakoski says:

Hi Corey, new to your channel, wips 12 or so, I have made a quilt like the giveaway, but used 30 reproduction prints, it was a wedding gift for my brother and his wife.

  206. Carole says:

  216. Karen McClung says:

I have between 5 and 10 WIP. My goal for 2023 is to finish what I’m doing before starting something new. I have a friend who only works on one thing at a time and always completes it before starting something new.

  217. Jennifer B says:

  222. I have 17 WIPS that I counted, although a couple have transitioned into the UFO stage. I have a stack of old quilt ops that I bought off eBay and estate sales to quilt. I love bringing those to a useable state as their creators intended. My count of 17 does NOT include those. I also have a tub full of handkerchiefs I’ve collected awaiting my inspiration. I would be thrilled to work your WIP blocks into a project. I love watching your videos and keeping up with your blog to get the creative ideas flowing!

  223. Sylvia Martinez says:

I have 3 or 4 works in progress. I am making progress on them so number is going down.

  226. Patti says:

I currently have 5 wip and I will get to them eventually!

  227. Kathleen Zanotti says:

I recently counted them up and I have 5. Four of them are from I first started quilting and one is more recent. I love your choice of fabrics for this pattern.

  228. brookney says:

Doing a quick count in my head I come up with 15 WIP. Not so bad, right??? There’s never enough to keep me from starting more and buying beautiful fabric to make them! I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of Sunwashed to my local quilt shop! I love it 🥰 I can’t decide which project I will do with it. Thanks for the inspiration, Corey!

  229. Laura says:

  230. Karen Green says:

Yes please! I would be delighted to take your offering of fabric! It would be an honor to finish up. It never occurred to me to give away projects I felt I wouldn’t finish. Instead they stare at me from wherever I have hidden them. My quilt group has quilt camp in April and I believe I will take them there! Thanks for the idea!

  231. FrankieJane says:

I currently have 3 WIPs, but busy adding to my quilt bucket list! When watching your scrappy Irish chain video, I thought how much fun fabric shopping with you would be, now after seeing these choices on your giveaway, I know I could learn so much! Ah, a girl can dream!

  234. Bethany F says:

For WIP’s I have 7 plus 2 cuddle. Pleasantly surprised, as it looks like so much more when the pieces are spread out all over the room. Feeling quite motivated now to finish one off today! Thanks for the motivation!

  235. Mary Gambriel says:

What a wonderful opportunity to be able to jump in a complete one of your projects. I just love your color style.

  236. Michele Fraser says:

Good morning Corey, I love your videos. You always brighten my day. 😃. I made a list of my WIP’s earlier this month and hope to finish one each month. 🙏🏻 I currently have twelve! I just finished the backing for one yesterday and plan to get it loaded on the long arm today. That would bring it down to eleven! Yay! As the saying goes, slowly but surely wins the race! Let’s hope so. 😉. I would love to add to my WIP list with your giveaway! 😆. The fabrics are beautiful and the granny square quilt pattern is on my bucket list to make. Good luck everyone! Thank you Corey for this fun giveaway. Have a blessed day.

  237. dianne alsup says:

I”m embarrassed at how many WOP I currently have! (Well over 12). Love your block, thanks for the chance to “share”!

  238. Erlene E says:

Several WIP but finishing one this weekend. Just started longarming so finishes are coming quicker😉. Live your fabric lines.

  239. Allyson Matheaus Randel says:

I would love, love, love to finish that beauty! The colors of the fabric are stunning!

  240. Amy Thomas says:

I only have 2 WIP. I usually just work on one project at a time until it is finished. One of my WIP is squares I cut from my fathers flannel shirts. When he passed in 1999 I cut 5 inch squares from all his flannel shirts. I made throws for my brother and sister but after that I just put mine away. I have yet to get mine made but the squares are cut and ready.

  241. Kathleen Davis says:

Well…. First, thank you for the awesome up cycle giveaway! I have about 10 WIP, I would have more but I really try to finish things before I move to the next project. This has inspired me to get on it or recycle it some way. Again thanks so much, keep on Quilting my friends.

  242. Wendy says:

Love the fabrics in your WIP and would love to finish it 😉 I am only working on one quilt right now but have many on the to do list to start when finished with the current project.
Thank you for the opportunity to receive one of your WIP’s!

  243. Cindy Gamble says:

Corey, I have a list of about 24 quilts to finish, 12 of them are cut out and 12 are still in the project bags to cut. I love your fabric and finished 4 quilts in 2022 with your fabric and patterns. I especially love Beautiful Day and Buttercup and Slate and 2 of the quilts were the sew along with you. Thank you for the opportunity to enter this giveaway and if chosen, I will finish them this year.

  244. Anita K. says:

If “WIP” includes “I have the idea and the fabric” then I have at least 16-20. If it means “cutting has commenced” I’m actually at 0 at this moment!

  245. Barbara Joy says:

Too many mostly holiday and occasion quilts like Christmas, Halloween, Valentines and Baby quilts. Love the idea I can always choose to work on a project to finish. You always inspire me! Thank you, blessings.

  246. Paula says:

Corey, I have 6+ WIP! They keep me busy and I never have to wonder what I am going to do! An idle mind is the devil’s workshop! Love the fabrics in your giveaway ! Have a wonderful day.

  247. CHRISTINE PEARL says:

Oh my! Time I guess to fess up . . . Corey, like you, my beginning quilting days also started with cerel box cardboard templates. Then moved to “Shrinky Dink” plastic because one side of the plastic had a rougher surface that made for less movement when tracing. How bad is it that one of my WIPs (I have a total of 7) is in a box, along with the Shrinky Dink templates, on a shelf? My only excuse over these many, many years is that I’m saving it all for the first “Quilting Time Capsule!” Whew; I feel better now that I’ve confessed.

  248. Terri says:

I have 53 UFOs. Most are inherited from my mother but I am doing more than 12 per year plus getting a few new quilts done each year too. I will get this whittled down. I love those granny squares.

  249. Amy Vollmer says:

    Hi Corey!
I have 6 WIPS and several in line waiting to begin. A Granny Square happens to be one in line but the pattern isn’t for strip piecing. I’d be honored to finish Confetti Cake for you. I love your choice of fabrics! Blues are particularly my favorite. I enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing. Amy

  250. Beth Brown says:

January has been my WIP month. I didn’t realize how many I had, surprise, surprise. 3 done and 4 to go. I think I am doing well! Thank you for this opportunity. That fabric is just beautiful would be a wonderful opportunity. Thanks and thank you for such beautiful fun fabric lines!!!

  251. I would love to win your WIP! I currently have 3 WIP – I seem to stall out with putting borders on once I finish the main design. I need a day or two of putting on borders to get caught up.

  252. Bonnie Neeley says:

I have 6 WIP. One is a quilt for my daughter, BH4 with your setting. She chose Betsy Chutchian collection, Maria’s Sky, and the setting is with blue & cream Grunge.
I would be thrilled to finish your giveaway.

  253. Mary E Lomax says:

I have 4 I am working on and some tucked away. When I finish enough I have a quilt give away for my family at Christmas If i win it may end up being a Christmas present.. I look forward to your videos each week

  254. Cheryl G. says:

    >This is SO embarrassing< but I have 33 active WIP; that’s 26 tops in various stages of (lack of) progress and 7 completed tops awaiting quilting. And that does not include 15 projects for which I have fabrics, but have not yet started. I really should not even be entering this giveaway 🫢😳😊

  255. Natalie Johnson says:

Love the quilting tips and hints! I probably have a dozen WIPs and they are all in need of machine quilting. 😆 I love making tops but hate the rest. Would love to finish yours 💕

  256. Jan says:

Love your videos! I currently have 3 wips. I also like to move fabric along that I may not use. Riggs is the best!

  257. Diane Swanson says:

Hi Corey!! Love your videos!! It seems like you are a personal friend stopping by to encourage me in my sewing. I am a retired 5th grade teacher, and we recently moved from CO to MO. So we are starting over with friends and church!! So I have had a lot of time to sew! That has been fun. And I really enjoy our “visits”. Would love to continue on your granny square quilt that you are wanting to re-home. Thank you!
    Diane Swanson

  258. Cathy Gilliland says:

Good morning. I really enjoy your video’s and looking at all your creations. I dont have anything started just yet – I have patterns and fabric but I just can’t decide what to start on …. The Confetti Cake blocks look amazing and love all the fabric you picked. I would be honored to receive such a gift from you just not sure I would do it justice. Thanks for all you do and share.

  259. Bree says:

Oh goodness, I think I have 10 or so. Some that were a bit above my skill level when I started them last year. Some that I got stuck. Now I want to go stitch instead of work. 🤣 Thanks for the chance! ❤️❤️

  260. apylinski says:

Love, love those Dresden Plate blocks you showed on your video. I can’t wait to see it finished. And thank you for the giveaway. I have lots – probably 10 or a few more – of UFO’s to complete. My goal this year is to complete one each month. What’s one more. I love those blocks and fabrics. Pick me!

  261. Carol Paine says:

Hi Corey. I also have many wips. At last count it was 10 and 3 waiting to be quilted.

  262. Bridget says:

I have several works in progress. However, I am definitely going to make the scrappy Irish chain! I absolutely love your fabric choices thanks for sharing your tips and ideas.

  263. Diana Ruckdeschel says:

I currently have only 2 WIPs! I retired from the Navy a few years ago and I am blessed ✝️ right now to have some leisure time and keep up with my projects 💗

  264. Katy Jensen says:

I am cleaning out my sewing room! How did it get so messy?! I haven’t finished cleaning but the count is up to 10 right now. What was I thinking? It will help to get organized!

  265. vivian todd says:

I know I have at least 15 WIPs! I get started and then something else catches my eye and I start it!😂 I’d love to put your blocks on the top of my “to do” pile! I always enjoy your videos. Your fabrics are some of my favorites! Thank you for all you do! I was disappointed last year that The Plaid Sheep didn’t participate in the Ohio Amish Country Quilt Shop Hop, but we stopped there anyway.😊

  266. Rebecca Seaquist says:

Thanks for the opportunity to win one of your WIP’s. I have only 3 on the go right now but that’s enough.

  267. kathleen carnes says:

I have only 3 unfinished projects but I’d hate to admit how many projects I have all fabrics and patterns for that have yet to be started. Shopping and planning is sooo much fun

  268. Jane Kimberling says:

I think I may have 10 – 12 WIPs? Watching your videos is challenging me to get them done!

  269. Diana Robbins says:

Thank you for your wonderful videos and inspiration. I currently have 3 WIP to piece, one of which is your scrappy Irish chain. I am sewing on the Irish chain today with 2 blocks completed so far. I have 5 projects that need to be quilted, bound etc. Thank you for the give away and the chance to enter.

  270. Stephanie V says:

I have five unfinished projects. Two of them only need binding. I was up to 12 last year. Would love to finish your Granny Square UFO. Beautiful fabric selection.

  271. susan0624 says:

I had plenty of quilt WIPs but a quilting sister died and I now have all her WIPs as well – so over 70. I made a list of them in order of fastest/easiest (wall hangings, table runners) down to the more complicated (larger quilts with lots of pieces), and check them off as I go. Good thing I love to sew!

  272. Toby Mercer says:

I have several projects to finish but I have been cleaning and organizing my sewing room. I love seeing my fabric. Ready to sew next week.

  273. Rosemary Warthen says:

Love the colors on those blocks! I have been stumped on what to start next. These blocks pattern looking interesting!

  274. Judith Manns says:

I have a couple of projects to finish but the biggest is a
T-Shirt quilt for my granddaughter. Thank you for a wonderful program, It’s refreshing to hear how much like we are.

  275. Jody Tomac says:

I have about 6 wips right now. I recently purchased a longarm & having a ball finishing ufos!

  276. Lucinda says:

Do quilt tops waiting to be quilted need to be counted? If so I have too many- 16. Then other works in progress- 6. I will get them done! Enjoyed hearing about the quilt bees and sharing wips! Wish we did more bees especially quilting ones. They look so fun, handquilting and hanging out with friends!!

  277. Ione Ronan says:

I love the fabrics for your give away blocks. I currently have 3 WIP which are full quilts completely sandwiched and ready for quilting. Just purchased a sit down FMQ machine and am having fun learning it while piecing a new quilt for my oldest granddaughters birthday in February. BTW….. Love your kitty.

  278. Susan Jackson says:

Not that I need another WIP, but I do make Quilts of Valor and the red, white and blue them of your giveaway would be perfect!

  279. Linda says:

I have 5 tops waiting to be quilted on my domestic machine and 1 top I am piecing at the moment. Love watching you, love your fabric.

  280. Beverly says:

I have been so encouraged by your WIP videos (love Tiggs, too) that I have pared my own unfinished projects down to just 2. I think your idea of clearing out a WIP by passing it on to a fellow quilter is just great. Though I have completed my WIPs myself, I burrow through my fabric stash frequently and any fabric that I don’t absolutely adore or can’t remember what I had in mind when purchased is donated to quilting friends or new quilters who haven’t had the opportunity to build their own stash yet. I like knowing that something I had forgotten about or failed to use because I decided to change a colorway will become something new and lovely at someone else’s hands.

  281. Angela VE says:

    I’m guessing I have about 6 WIPs

  282. Kathy Jobes says:

I have many WIP’s too. I started writing them down just by memory & then later another would pop in my head. Some are small like table runners or wall hangings but there are a few bigger quilts. I want to try & finish most this year. Reality may hit later this year but going to give it a good try! Think I’m at about 20 without actually looking in my sewing room. Wish me luck! Love your videos-they’re inspirational! Thank you!

  283. cshelleyqbq says:

I have too many to count WIP ?50+? 😉😉😂😂 .I love that pattern Confetti Cake… it does remind me of granny square crochet blocks. I have an afghan my grandmother crocheted. Thanks for the giveaway

  284. DEBBIE BOMBARD says:

I have 4 works in progress right now. I started learning in July of 2021 and have finished 10 quilts plus some smaller projects plus have 4 quilts and 1 wall hanging tops done plus around 4 or 5 other projects set aside to do. I am having so much fun wish I had started years ago

  285. Helen Cocran says:

I have 6 WIPS. Most just need to be quilted, which I do myself on my sewing machine. I’m easily distracted by new patterns and fabric. I want to make them all! Pick me, pick me.

  286. Michelle Ownbey says:

I have 5 WIP I am working on and hoping to finish this year 🙂

  287. Kathy E. says:

I have 7 WIPS right now. I finished 3 from the pile the first week of the new year and then lost my mojo. Love those blocks!

  288. doxiemom1957 says:

Well, I have at least 12, and possibly 15 that qualify for WIPs. That includes tops waiting to be put on the longarm. And I can’t stop starting new projects that catch my eye! Like your Confetti Cake pattern…I love it, and would be so happy to have an already in progress project to run with! Thank you for the giveaway opportunity. Your videos always uplift my spirits, you seem so filled with joy in each one!

  289. Vicky Hopper says:

If we are including quilt tops that need to be quilted—way more than I want to admit. I keep finding more since we are slowly moving into a different house. My guess would be probably 40 if counting the quilt tops. Thank you for the giveaway. Have wanted to make the Granny Square quilt-this could be my best chance at getting to make it. Thanks again.

  290. memawhappy says:

Hi Corey, what a wonderful opportunity – you have already done what is the hardest part for me—-choosing a pattern and fabrics! I currently have 12 WIPs, and all are in different stages! Thank you for this generous offer.

  291. Laurie Spencer says:

    Hello,
Thoroughly enjoyed the video today especially the dresden plate quilt and blocks. It is on my “wish list” for 2023 to make a dresden plate quilt.
I sure would like to help you out and take your unfinished blocks and get them finished up! My sewing room is my Happy Place and that would give me a “happy” project to do! Thank you for your wonderful sharing of your blog and videos!
    Laurie from Iowa

  292. Linda Viteretto says:

I have two WIPS, for quilting, but I also have a number of WHIPS for knitting, spinning, watercolor & acrylic painting, hand stitching & many other crafts. That is my weakness….I love to learn something new…watch all the videos, buy supplies & work on it for awhile and then move on. 😂. I do finish projects before starting new one most of the time, but will let a knitting project sit while I work on a painting or quilt.

  293. Sandra Hammerand says:

I have 14 that quality WIPs. There are possible more that I have put away in a tote for a rainy day!!😅

  294. Lori Clark says:

I currently have 37 WIP’s that need to be pieced together and 16 that need binding and labels. Trying my best to finish at least 2 of these each month before I work on something new. I would love to add your unfinished project to my to do list!!!
I love your videos and I am currently working on the Scrappy Irish Chain sew along.

  295. Nat Cross says:

Hi Corey! (And Tiggs!) I have only 2 WIPS right now. One I’m hoping to finish machine quilting today. That’s my hope anyways. I think the next quilt I am starting for the new year is your 🏡 Picket Fence Cottages. 🏡

  296. Annie Long says:

Hi Corey, I’m not going to go count right now but I’m sure that a dozen would not be far out on a limb for WIPs. I’m trying to work through them, but the fun of a new project is always calling me. Have a wonderful day.

  297. Joanne Showalter says:

I enjoy watching your videos & love meeting your fun loving cat. I have 12 WIPs. Several are well on the way & I hope to finish them soon. I have a new granddaughter who has been a major distraction!

  298. Christine M Otoole says:

Since the beginning of the pandemic, I made it my mission to complete my WIP…I currently have 8 left to finish but my number was 15. Thank you and I really enjoy the video’s.

  299. Tina Almond says:

Hi Corey and kitty! My dog is the same. Sometimes he needs all the attention 💙

I have 4 WIPs and the oldest is about 10 years old. I’m still going to do it! I can’t wait to see your new line. Stay warm!
    Tina Almond

  300. Rosanne Janes says:

I have eight currently in the process, and about ten waiting to be started! 🙂

  301. Rebecca Bowles says:

Hi, Corey. I currently have 11 tops, some waiting on backing, batting, or another element, as I must budget carefully. I am currently working on an applique top but need more black ribbon to use as stems. I have plans for 17 more in various stages, fabric only, blocks only, or pattern only. Wish me luck! 🤞

  302. Gwendolyn Hanks says:

I have at least 20 WIP. Not all are quilts though. Some are quilt tops that need to be long armed, some are other sewing endeavors like project bags, small appliance covers, holiday table decor and memory bears. Two are long term vintage/antique quilt projects where I found damaged, completed or incomplete quilt blocks with some of the feed sack fabric counterparts while thrifting. I used what I was able to salvage, and have slowly been acquiring additional feed sacks to match as I find them. The blocks of both projects were pieced by hand stitching, which has been a fun challenge for me. Five years working on these once abandoned projects and still chugging along; they are definitely long term WIP’s I am a bit of a perfectionist. The colors in the unfinished project giveaway are absolutely lovely. I would be thrilled to have the opportunity to finish it. 💕

  303. Leta Seacat says:

I love your fabrics and videos. I do not get to watch you live but always catch up. I love the blocks you are giving away. I of course would love to win but just a note, I have that pattern to make a quilt. I just got it this month. Would love to finish yours. Pick me. LOL

  304. Lisa Whitmore says:

I have 15 plus WIPs not counting the 2 I just finished. 6 now just need quilted and binding. That’s my focus this year. But I always add new projects to the piles to be doing new things. I would love to work on yours. Love your color choices.

  305. Linda Sparrow says:

I have 12 WIP. I love to go to garage sales and look for unfinished craft and quilting projects.

  306. Ginny L Paul says:

I started the new year with about 12 WIPs. I recently finished one, which I’m very happy about. It is my goal to finish one each month. Some will require much more time than others. Happy new year!

  307. Jessica Scheer says:

I have 13 WIP’s. But this has given me permission to pass one of those on to someone who will enjoy it!

  308. Debra Duncan says:

Hi Corey I am organizing my sewing room cutting my fabrics into a stash system starting with my fat quarters, into bins then I am going to finish my WIP,s. I have about 15-22. I also started a sewing for our community making 259 adult bibs for our nursing homes, and working on a quilt from our quilting retreat. I love watching your tutorials. It is a joy to spread our love of sewing to someone that really appreciates what we do. God Bless You.

  309. Anne says:

Good morning, Corey!! I currently have 5 active WIP’s. I have 2 in long-term time-out. One just needs assembly, but like you, I don’t think I will ever finish. I plan on giving it to my friend to finish. I have other WIPs in knitting and cross-stitch, but I am more monogamous with those crafts. Once I get one WIP done, my reward is to start the scrappy Irish chain which has been in my wanting to do list for awhile. Love your fabrics and videos! Thank you for all you do!

    • Kathy Pace says:

I am a new quilter and have 2 WOP-s! I love your designs and have purchased your Sprinkling pattern to start soon. I get so much practical information and so much inspiration from you! Thanks!

  310. Samantha Geurts says:

What a fun giveaway!! love the pattern and fabrics you chose. Most of all, I love all your videos!! I have 3 WIPS (made it a point to finish several others before the end of 2022 and now finishing these before I start the 19 other quilts that are in my planner, just waiting for me. I am also working on 4 different block of the month sew alongs.

  311. Such beautiful blocks and fabrics Corey! Thank you for sharing with us.
I have about 5 small projects and 3 large quilts to complete. My goal to finish these by March 2023🎉🎉🎉

  312. Rita Leek says:

As I’m in an apartment temporarily, some (5-6?) WIPs are in storage awaiting the quilting stage but another 5 are with me and in the piecing stage, mostly from scraps and stash, so life currently divided them for me. Still fun, entertaining, and colorful. LOVE French General color palettes. Your “stack” of cuts would be fun for any of us to work with, I’m sure.

  313. Teresa Morales says:

I’m guessing I have 10-12 WIP. Some need borders, some need blocks sewn together.
I like the prints you chose for the granny squares.
I love making scrappy quilts. My mom was a quilter and made scrappy quilts.

  314. Michelle Myers says:

I have 8 WIP’s that I’m working on. One of them is the Heartfelt QAL! I have 14 projects planned this year but I would love to work on this project you’re giving away! Love the fabrics and design! Can’t wait to see your new fabric line!

  315. Kristy Johnson says:

I must have at least 15 WIPs in my pile, and I love each one of them! So why haven’t I finished them? Because there is always a new project that I simply must start!

  316. Lisa Marie says:

I think it’s about 10, and some are current quilt-a-longs. Thanks for the giveaway!

  317. Nancy Picard says:

Cory, I cleaned up my sewing room the first of January and I counted 7 quilts I’m working on. I made a list and have crossed off 3 on my list so far this year.

  318. Melinda Tagle says:

I have 3 WIP. Not sure if quilt alongs are included, but if they are it’s bumped up to 7.

  319. Thank-you Corey! That helped. 😀

  320. Judy Lindros says:

I have three wips out in my sewing room. The rest are hidden away. Once I complete one, I pull out another. I have been completing one every three weeks or so using this set up. Yay! Completions! I would love to finish yours. LBQ and French General…..irresistible.

  321. Anna Chapman says:

I am such a control freak that I HAVE to finish before I start another! Granted, I’m still a newbie. I would love to try an Irish chain. Thank you!

  322. Barbara says:

I just recently found you and I am excited with all I am learning. I love the colors in the giveaway. I have never done this before but here it goes. I have currently 6 WIPs including Idyllic which I am making both the two color and the multi colored. My 3rd daughter will be the recipient of the multi colored one and she is so excited. Thank you for all your enthusiasm which comes through. I can’t wait for each time you have a new video. Thank you
    Barbara Whitaker

  323. Hi Cory, I have 10 quilt tops that need to be quilted. I have 2 WIPs that I am piecing. My goal this year is to catch up with the quilting, but I can’t stop creating while I do that. Now that I am retired, I plan on creating some quilts to donate. I donated 2 last year and hope to increase that number this year.

  324. Christie Taylor says:

I have 2 WIPs currently. I also have a couple QALs planned. I am enjoying all of your content and tips. As a new quilter, they are relished! Keep them coming.

  325. Lily says:

Well Corey, works in progress? I have projects to do. Embroidery, Crewel, Painting, Mending, Quilting. I have everything neatly organized. Life got in the way. Someday….20 plus is my count. LOL I would love your WIP

  326. travelingro says:

Love those blocks!! WiPs? Uhhh, yep. I have 5 ready with the backings already selected and waiting to be quilted. I have at least 7 cut and ready to go … (They’ve been waiting a few years, have to admit.) Another 4 that I’ll finish with my quilter daughter … one of these days. I love having projects to work on while working on a current finish. In between, are all the little projects (bags, potholders, mug rugs!)!! Life is Good for this 85 year old quilter!!

  327. Heather Ellis says:

I have 5 WIPS and have just signed up for 2 more block of the months.

  328. Ingrid Cummings says:

I have 2 WIP’s and am currently working with my Church craft group to recycle used sheets donated by a local hotel into curtains for the cabins at a local kids camp (a mission).

  329. Lynn says:

I currently have 3 WIPS and 5 quilt tops done that need to be quilted.

  330. Charlotte Calkins says:

Love your Confetti Cake blocks and pattern. I’d love a chance at your unfinished project. May the one that receives it be the one that can best use it. Beautiful colors and workmanship.

  331. Jackie Atoigue says:

Oh my goodness you current wip is gorgeous!! My husband is serving in the military and that’s what got me into quilting: wanting to make a patriotic like quilt with reds and ivories and blues. I have yet to do it but would love the opportunity to start where it’s all ready! Currently I only have 3 wip: the scrappy irish chain, sewing some scraps into some sort of semblance without a pattern, and the qal from sherri and Chelsea. Love your colors!!

  332. Linda says:

Would like to finish the blocks! So fun to take on a new project! Many WIPs, 5-6ish…Thanks for the encouragement.

  333. Tammy says:

I have four WIP’S. Going to “Try” and get those done this year. One is a Christmas tree wall hanging that I started last year 2022 before Christmas, so hopefully it will be done by this Christmas of this year 😀.

  334. Barbara Tibbetts says:

I would be honored to finish this quilt and yes i would love have all the fabric that goes with it

  335. Laurel says:

I absolutely LOVE your fabrics and have 3 WIPS! Lately I have been giving my fabric collections to my Mom to help her keep active, and the last one I gave her was your Buttercup and Slate!! She did you sew along with you and had loads of fun! I’m watching for your next and going to supply her with the materials for it also! I would love to give my mother your other!! (Dad is receiving chemo treatments so this has been a good distraction and rest for her🥰). Either way, we both have loved your fabrics and patterns and videos!!! We love you kitty too!!

  336. Elizabeth Foster says:

Oh my goodness, I have 18! But in defense, at least four of these are almost done, just lacking quilting or binding! And I DID finish 9 in November and December!

  337. Sandra Chavez says:

I probably have 12 or 13 WIPs. After my husband passed away, I lost my SewJo and if I continue to slump back into a slump during that time of year between when he was diagnosed with cancer and when he passed. This giveaway will result in a lovely quilt … but, maybe I don’t really need yet another WIP 🙂

  348. Betty Laxson says:

Love your cheerful videos! I think I have about 8 WIPs… at least that I can think of off the top of my head 🙂 So many in kit stage with pattern & fabrics pulled. Thanks for all you do and share.

  349. sewbit2 says:

Hello Corey, Currently I have one WIP that I am piecing together. I have a very small stack of reproduction Civil war fabric that I would love to put into a quilt. Your fabrics and pattern for the giveaway would be amazing and extra special to use. By the way the Irish chain is technically I suppose a WIP as well. Since I need more 2 1/2″ squares to create the Irish chain I don’t really count it.

  350. Jennifer Mason says:

I have 3 WIPs. I enjoy your videos. And your fabrics and quilt patterns. My first was the heartfelt charity quilt. I so enjoyed making it and the beautiful day fabric was a joy! Keep creating so the rest of us can be inspired.🌸

  351. Cathy Thomas says:

Corey, thank you for all of the education and support you provide to the quilt community. The Scrappy Irish Chain is a bucket list quilt. 353. Kirk Bergland says:

    Good afternoon Corey,
I’m probably too late to comment. I watched the scrappy Irish Chain videos and I have always wanted to make one. Unfortunately my wife won’t let me buy anymore fabric, she has said, “Use what you have.” Eventually, I’ll make one. I would love to finish your UFO if I’m picked. I’ve watched your videos for a while now and I love your fabric choices and your enthusiastic spirit! Please keep making videos!

  354. Nancy Whitty says:

I have 3 WIP’s, 1 finished queen top and 1 wall hanging waiting to be quilted. These fabrics are gorgeous. Love your videos.

  355. Jeannie Simon says:

I have 25 works in progress. Trying to finish one per month this year!!!

  356. Vickie says:

I have more wips than i care to mention! Last year our guild held a challenge to finish up projects … even though I listed 10 (not all of them) I only completed 2 by the end of the year! One project was so old that I wasn’t even sure which thread to use or if I even still had the original spool!

  357. Karine PEAUDECERF says:

I have 2 WIP on quilts and 2WIP on crochet and 1 WIP on cross stitching.
Those fabrics are beautiful. Love your videos so much !

    • Brenda Prieksat says:

I probably have a couple dozen WIPS. I always have hand stitching projects going near the sofa for when I watch TV and at work for my lunch hour, plus ones I am piecing, cutting out and then quilting. I cannot stand to just sit and not be working on a project at the same time.

  358. Barbara B. says:

I would LOVE to have your WIP!! The colors are perfect for my home and would look wonderful in my living room! Currently I have 5 WIPs but would love one more!!

  359. Barb Nilsen says:

First, I just want to say that I think those granny square blocks and fabric are just beautiful!! Currently, I have 1 flimsy, 1 in need of binding and 1 project just in the cutting stages, so 3 wips! Love you and your videos!

  360. Mildred Castro says:

Hi, I have 4 WIP’s plus 5 quilts that still need binding! So I guess its actually 9 WIP’s? LOL, I love all your fabrics and always enjoy your videos.

  361. Susan Salo says:

I have about 12 WIPs and am really determined to finish a number of them this year! One is ready for quilting (I do on my Janome at home) and many need backs made and then pinned. A very few need more blocks. So I can choose whatever I’m in the mood for here!

  362. Kam says:

I have 5 WIPs that I can recall. I may have a couple of older ones in my hope chest. I love the fabrics in your giveaway and would put that one definitely at the top of my to-do list.

  366. Becky Hutchings says:

I would love to have your whip but more importantly I would love to win it to give to my dear friend Sue who is experiencing hard times financially. She loves to quilt but does not have the financial means to do so. I would also like to comment on all your video’s, you are a wonderful inspiration to all I know who watches your video”s including myself. You have such a wonderful attitude and such a bubbly personality! I will never be able to thank you enough for the inspiration you give to me! I also love every fabric you have designed so far.
    Thank you for being you!

  367. Laura Carter says:

Four WIPS that are really in progress, and multiple sets of patterns and fabric collections ready and waiting on the sidelines. Top of the list is my not-yet quilted Elizabeth Hartman Beehive pattern pieced with Coriander Quilts Sunnyside Up collection. I have wanted to make a granny-squared pattern and love the fabrics you have selected. Please enter me in your giveaway.

  368. Sandy Sears says:

I have 6 WIPs but plan to finish one this month for my niece’s grand daughter….does that make me a really great grand aunt? I love watching your videos!

  369. Tamara Millage says:

Without doing an inventory, I have somewhere upwards of 20 WIPs. They are all in varying stages of completedness; some are finished tops waiting for quilting and binding, others are cut and ready to sew, others are nicely tucked away in project bags waiting to be released and some are half cut, half sewn. I’m not sure that confession makes me a good candidate for this lovely project … hmmmm! I love the fabrics and pattern and would love to move it towards completion….err…creative avoidance of the other projects… love your style, Corey. Thank you for sharing your gift with us!

  370. Christann Kennedy says:

Hi Corey! Thanks so much for all of the wonderful information you share. I really appreciate you! It’s funny that you ask how many WIPs we have – I was just counting them up before I watched your video this morning! I have 9 projects on the go right now, but 2 of them are sew-along sampler projects with patterns released over time, so those ones are not my fault 🙂 Thanks again for everything. You are the best.

  371. Kellye Wheaton says:

Hi Corey, I have 5 WIP. I’m within two days of finishing one quilt top. I’m a happy camper. Loved the video.

  372. Janice Badeau says:

Hi,Corey! I, too, have a Dresden WIP! I have three other WIPs in addition! I am determined to at least finish the Dresden because I love it so much. I like your idea of the Ohio Star in the centers! I’ve got about half my dresdens attached to the backing and centers are in but I could do the other half with the pieced center and just alternate! Thank you! I’d love to win a Corey Yoder WIP :).

  373. Susan says:

I absolutely love your fabric choices for your granny quilt. It would be an honour to finish it. I am in finishing mode at the moment and trying so hard not to start anything new. Love your programme.
    Susan

  376. Holly Knobler says:

I so enjoyed your WIPs video. It’s always fun to see what you are working on. I loved the Dresden plate blocks and the quilt that was behind you. Yup, one more quilt to add to my dream list!!! I have about 20 WIPs. I could get 10 of these done in less than a month since they just need the binding put on (I made the binding before sending them to the quilter).

  377. Lynea Watson says:

I’ve sewn for years but am new to quilting. I have 2 WIPs for now but can’t stop buying fabric. Love the colors on the giveaway project.

  378. Pattie Barup says:

I have atleast 12 WIPs right now. I love them all !
Thank you for sharing your scrappy Irish Chain Block piecing video. That works wonderfully !

  379. Sherry Morrison says:

I would love to win your quilt blocks and would love to finish that quilt! The blocks that you have done are so pretty. I am fairly new to quilting so I don’t have that many WIP’s. I try to finish what I start before beginning another project. That will probably change in the future! I currently have a quilt at the at the longarrmer’s and have a few small projects to work on while I wait. It’s so enjoyable to just sit and sew, even if it’s sewing “crumbs” together! Thank you for your wonderful videos!

    • Kim Harrison says:

I love the pattern you have for your WIP. I am always up for another WIP, even if I have many myself. Love your quilts and the dresden pattern as well.

  380. Susan Schechter says:

Even though I probably have 15 works in progress, I love these fabrics and that pattern so much that I feel like it would be the 1st one I finished.

  381. I have about a dozen WIP & I have good intentions of finishing them all this year. I just need to quit starting so many new projects.

  385. June White says:

Hi would love to have these fabrics I have 4 wip right now lol trying hard to get everything caught up .lol

  386. Victoria Harris says:

Wonderful video!! I loved seeing your Dresden plates ✨ right now I have 2 wips/ufo (I can’t decide which term I like better 🤪) so not much but I’m a pretty new quilter so I’m sure they’ll grow 😊
    God bless you ♥️

  387. quilterpt says:

I have probably 20. I take a class and so whatever I was working on gets put aside, then the class project isn’t completed in class and well, you know! I would love your WIP, my guild makes lots of outreach quilts to donate to our local community and yours would be a great one to pass along. We have many helping hands that would be happy to finish it up and share the love. Thanks for sharing!!

  388. Sue Pfeiffer says:

I have around six WIP’s. One is for next Christmas, one is for Halloween, Also working on a queen size red/white scrappy checkerboard that is looking great plus 3 or so more. Last month I started tinkering with the granny square pattern I drew. I love crocheting them but late last year I decided to patchwork a couple lap size.

  389. Teresa Brown says:

I have two WIPs and one of them is the scrappy Irish chain with you. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity.

  390. Rhonda Patrick says:

    Hi Corey!

As you know, I’m pretty new to quilting, and have a challenge cutting into my fabrics… but I have been able to get one table runner cut, sewn, and quilted. Binding is tomorrow. Then I’m going to finish my Sunny Day project. Maybe if the fabric is already cut for me, I will be able to start moving at a quicker pace. Would love to have those fabrics…would make a beautiful Quilt to be used for every patriotic holiday! Thanks again for having such a cool giveaway!!

  391. Shannon Nadeau says:

I have at least six WIP. Those quilt blocks are on one of my quilts to do so I would love to win your blocks.

  392. Leslie Owen says:

I have three WIP’s in different stages. One needs binding, and two need quilting. I had hoped to start 2023 with no WIP’s but sometimes your current season of life changes and that is okay. You just have to roll with it.

  393. Jodi Kleban says:

I would be over the moon to get the chance to receive and finish the granny square quilt. You have such a great eye. Love the fabric selection you chose.

  394. Ellen Lechtenberger says:

I have a disability that allows me to stand or lay down, but not sit. Therefore I quilt standing up and it’s one of the only things I can do. I started about 3 years ago and I have 30 ish tops and what i would consider 3 current wips.

  395. Susan Kurz Sebesta says:

I have one WIP – a “Wooly Stars” quilt for my son. My daughter received her “Wooly Stars” quilt for Christmas. It’s a wonderful quilt for my children as they were involved in the 4-H Sheep project for 12 years. We have many special family memories from our “barn time” with sheep! (My nephew and his new bride even received a “Wooly Stars” I made as a wedding gift since he raises sheep.) I appreciate the opportunity to enter your giveaway and would love to finish this beautiful quilt! Thank you!

  396. Trudy L says:

6 waiting to be completed, several BOMs as a carryover from last year that I’m just starting on, and getting materials together for our 19th grandchild’s baby quilt. He’s due 2 days after my Valentine birthday!

  397. Sharon Starr says:

Today I do not have active WIPs because I just finished my last project. However, I have many ideas in my mind for projects so in the next couple of days I will have several WIPs. One idea is to do a Dresden Plate bench pillow. One goal I have this year is to try new techniques so this is one I will try. Thanks for giving me this idea!

  398. Desarae Daniels says:

My mom and grandma both quilt, but I am a beginner! I just finished my first quilt start to finish. But I have 3 WIPs. I’m learning that quilting isn’t super cheap lol but I’m loving every minute of it.

  399. HELEN MCNENLY says:

So, if WIP doesn’t count projects not actually started yet (and we won out those 😃), I have 4 WIP – 3 quilts, one pillow. I work on them when I feel like it. One UFO – cut it out a year ago and haven’t touched it since.

  400. Kay Hargis says:

Thank you for sharing your happy spirit and your quilting skills wth us. Seeing the beautiful vintage colors you chose for your blocks made me smile–isn’t it amazing how color and design can speak to us! I have 7 unfinished projects to work on finished this year, but I think they would have to wait in line behind this one!

  401. Donna Penalagan says:

I have about 3 – 4 WIP. Some at the point that require only backing, batting and quilting and some that need a bit more work. Hugs and headbonks to Tiggs. As a new quilter (wannabe!), I am still very new to all of the processes.

  402. DianaM says:

  406. Vonney Wright says:

I have only a couple of Project Linus WIP quilts because I really do like to get them finished. But that doesn’t account for all the scrap quilts I want to make with left over fabrics from things I was making to support essential covid workers. I do other sewing too and there are too many WIPs to count! Too many ideas, too little time 😁

  407. Debra Stulik says:

I have three WIP’s going at this time. I would love to finish your quilt. I really enjoy your YouTube videos.

  408. Pattie Brucker says:

    Hello,

  412. Vachon Bouchard says:

Oh gosh, I probably have 15 or so WIPS. I think your idea of passing on those things you don’t think you will finish and I am going to do the same with my quilt guild. Thanks for the inspiration.

  413. Barbara Dieckmann says:

been following your videos for a while, and really enjoy your sparkle. Been plugging away at so many WIPs that have been waiting. Been finishing a few as well as working on new stuff, with 14 completions in 2022, one waiting for border to be added, one in assembly of blocks into top phase, 5 tops completed last year but still to be basted, and 3 not quite finished in the stage of adding big stitch quilting details in the places that matter to my eye once the very basic machine quilting has gotten all the layers with enough stitching to be stable and useable. ADHD runs rampant, lol. Always need variety and mix up what I’m working on a lot. Would love the honor and pleasure of completing your “orphan” WIP. The colors and fabrics please my eye very much.

  414. Sandy Bartholomay says:

I have at least 12 WIPs. I love the fabric colors you chose!!!

  420. Vickie L Gorse says:

I really appreciate your videos and I especially love your kitty. He’s so helpful. I have about 10 WIPs, but three quilts (cut and ready to piece) came from my Aunt Jennie and are still a little beyond my ability. I’ll get there one day though.

  421. Karen Foeller says:

I have 12 to 15 WIPs. 3 are queen size quilts, 2 are lap quilts, 6 are table runners, a few are tops I inherited and need to finish. Yikes! It sounds awful when I put it into words!

  422. Sue L says:

Hello from Cairns Australia. I’ve recently got back into quilting and have dug out about four old projects needing attention and have a couple of new WIPs. I saw those blocks on your colour choices video and really loved them, took some screen shots and want to create that quilt!

  426. Ester Mae Cox says:

I am not going to uncover all the WIP’s here… and I’m guessing there are about 20…. I obviously get easily distracted and have many interests…. I do have a goal to finish at least one WIP every month in 2023. I think that’s a doable goal! And I’m not going to beat myself up if I stumble on that goal!

  427. Jodie Swalberg says:

I have 2 WIPs on my table to finish this month. I’m making 2023 the year of finishing. I fell in love with your color choices – not my strong suit. Thank you for the chance to play with those beautiful fabrics.

  428. Susan Larrick says:

  431. Floresha Redmond says:

I have been working through my WIP and am making some progress. The most important WIP’s I did finish were four quilts that I gave to my brother and sisters using my dads shirts. It was more of a labor of love and it was so nice thinking about him and remembering him wearing those shirts! I’m also working on some EPP with lots of fabric scraps of yours that I’m very excited to finish!

  432. Jonell says:

Hello! Your kitty reminds me of my Sam the man, who is now gone. He was supposed to be a female that I named Samantha! Ha! I love the fabric in the give away and would love to finish it! I also have an unfinished Dresden quilt!

  433. Carol Leatherman says:

Boy so I feel much better! I was stressing about hoe many WIPS I have …
OK< in quilts, I have 7. In counted cross stitch, I have 8,
Love that you do this – thank you so much!

  439. I have4works in progress. I started the scrappy Irish chain too. I have to quilt and find them also. Thanks for your video

  440. Sherri Hunnicutt-Palfrey says:

Ok ,so I have currently 13 quilt tops for long arming, 1 bluejean cathedral window upcycled quilt in progress, my sister’s stash busting quilt currently under my needle- you should see the pictures she sent me of her 2 “well loved and in tatters ” quilts as a hint she needs a new one lol-, my great nephew’s appliquéd quilt – still a wip, and one quilt that just needs binding. My goal last year was to finish the 27 I had to longarm, did 15,but unfortunately I tore my Achilles tendon, had surgery and was non weight bearing for almost 6 months. Now the doctor informed me I need 2 new knees….nursing and gymnastics were not kind to my body. So I cut out several quilts, getting them ready for sewing together. This year will be dedicated to the 12 tops and finishing up as much as possible before I am down from surgery again.

  441. Penny Doyle says:

I have 5 unfinished and starting a new one…. which is a must do baby quilt. I love to look at what you are working on because I love your choice of colors. They are what I like to work with. Have a great weekend.

As far as my WIPS, I have only two..I know hard to believe huh? But one of my goals before 2023 was to clean up, and finish up so I could start fresh. If I win the giveaway then I’ll have three WIPS. Haha. This year I might have to try making a dresden block. Your quilt is so darn cute🙂

  443. Maria Taylor says:

At my count yesterday I have 4 wins. The largest to be finished is going to take some time to quilt, but I’ll get there xx

Also I would like to thank you for the explanations you give in your YouTube channel, they are enjoyable and so useful.
    Amelia

I have 6ish WIP. Half of them belong to a friend of my Mom who passed away unexpectedly. I look forward to finishing them in her honor!

  449. Irena Zwierzchowski says:

I just saw your video. Thank You for sharing! I’ve always loved fabrics and sawing . A few years ago I took quilting classes and my family bought me Bernina for my 57th BD! Since then I have done about 20 quilts and one of them was granny square small quilt for one of my granddaughters! Usually I finish what I started as I can not wait to see final product and give as gifts for family and friends! But I have few orphaned blocks I’m planning to finish as baby quilts!
You choose so gorgeous fabrics and my all time favorite colors: blue, gray and red. It would be an honor to finish your quilt!
    Irena

  450. Debra D Bell says:

I counted about eight, but I know I have more than that. Your quilts and fabrics are beautiful!

  451. Luana says:

Hi Cory..I have 5 WIP right now and interested in giveaway. You’re such an inspiration. I really enjoy reading about your projects.

  453. Margaret Bergen says:

I have at least 8 WIPs that I can think of, but oh so many more planned and the fabric ready. (Minus background) those granny blocks are beautiful, you have such an eye for fabrics that go well together. I’m very thankful that there are now lines of fabric as picking fabrics still is a bit overwhelming to me. Such a fun giveaway, thank you!

  454. Kristi Castanette says:

I must have at least 10 WIPs in my queue! Not to mention the mystery quilt my small quilt group wants to start and the birthday blocks I sew for 2 quilt groups. But I love your WIP and would be happy to take it off your hands!!

  456. Stephenie Kyser says:

    Corey
I just stumbled on your video last week and found todays in my list of videos. I only have 1 work in progress which is a T-Shirt memory quilt for my son who lost a friend to suicide. However, I do have 5 quilts that need to be quilted. I am new to long-arming and not that good at it yet and want to get better to finish those quilts. It would be an honor to finish the granny square quilt. I absolutely love the colorway for this quilt. I did a granny square quilt for an employee who retired last year and I really enjoyed making it. Thank you for your videos.

  457. Sharon says:

I have 3 WIP quilts (2 of which are made with Beautiful Day fabric), along with several quilt squares that I had fun trying out. I also have fabric and patterns for several gifts for family and friends to give during this year. We got a new puppy d months ago and I’m missing spending hours at a time with my sewing machine!😊

  458. Jeanette Friscia says:

Hi Corey, I love the color combinations and blocks you’ve already assembled in the darling WIP. Right now I have two leftover Christmas WIPs, a table runner and a quilt. I also have a lap quilt gift in progress. Lastly, still in progress is one of my first quilt projects, a miniature log cabin quilt when my skills weren’t as accurate, but too far along to have the patience to fix. I have to figure out what the next step is going to be for that one, but I’ve since bought a better sewing machine and improved greatly. I’d love to pick up where you left off on your darling WIP! So sweet of you to do this giveaway! -Jen

  459. Denise Castelli says:

I currently have 3 WIPS of my own, one of which is a small quilt. On occasion, the senior center will have blocks donated and I finish the quilt for them and they sell the quilt.I am debating if I want to make the Irish chain quilt in the size you are making it or do the math and make a small quilt.

  482. Lorie says:

Hi Corey , I have 12 wips right now ! Love the fabrics in the giveaway ❤️

  483. Debbie Buskirk says:

I have 5 WIPS. 3 are all pieced, just need to quilt and bind. Of the 5 WIPS, 4 are QALS. That is my undoing. If I didn’t join QALS, I would keep myself at 2-3 WIPS. Now my queue is HUGE, so many patterns and fabrics!

  484. Kathy Biggs says:

I would like to enter you WIP Fabric contest.

  485. Mary Webster says:

  488. mooslie61 says:

Hi, I don’t have any!!! I try my best not to start a new project until I am finished with the one I am working on. I have tons of things I want to do but I make sure not to start until I have nothing on my table. Fingers crossed I win!

  489. Lynne Wilson says:

I currently have 4 works in progress. The color pallet and pattern of the give away are perfect for me.

So its been hectic and fun but I have had to set the sewing aside for right now. Hopefully in February I will be able to catch up on some bibs, burp pads, blankets and some crib quilts. Love the colors in your blocks and I think they could used in a crib quilt or maybe three. Have a wonderful day!

  493. Paula says:

I think I have 4 (2 are long term projects) others are smaller. I have a goal this year to try & finish some things off! Milestone birthdays are not exactly helping, but I like to have a variety of things to work on when the mood takes me.

  496. Suzanne Fain says:

I probably have at least 6 WIPs. The one closest to completion is for my 6 yr old granddaughter. She wanted kitties. It is completed except for mailing it! I don’t consider it finished until she has it her hands. The next one to be finished will be my Ukrainian quilt which will be donated to a
Ukrainian family. Just needs the binding . The WIP you are giving away has such wonderful fabrics and I love the pattern! It would be so fun to finish this quilt for you! I am sure whoever wins it will love working on it.

  497. Jan from TN says:

I guess it depends how you define a UFO. I think of it as an unfinished quilt top. That being said, I’m really not sure but I’m guessing I have at least 5. I tend to finish to quilt top done stage & then have to wait until I save $$ for a longarmer. I loved your video today. I have also given away blocks & partially done quilts that I no longer have any desire for. In fact just yesterday I gave my bestie 12 nine inch civil war blocks. She said she’s always wanted to do a civil war quilt & now I’ve gotten her started. Ha! Thanks for the opportunity to win your give-away! I LOVE all your fabrics & patterns!

  498. candacejeanbur says:

I currently have five WIP’s. They are all Christmas quilts from last year that I just didn’t finish. I am hoping they will be completed for this Christmas. I would love to finish your WIP!!! I know it would go straight to the top of the pile!!! Love what you do!!!!

  499. Kerrie Shearer says:

I have only been at this for a year or so, so not too many WIP. I try to keep up. I think right now I have about four quilt tops that need quilting and two that are cut and not pieces so lots to do there. It’s hard to stay on task when there are so many pretty new fabrics coming out to buy and use.

  500. Amanda says:

I have 4 WIPS right now. I try to keep it down to 2 or three, but sometimes I get too excited and just have to cut into some new fabric! Thanks for the chance to win!

  501. Donna Hanneman says:

I have 8 WIP, 4 quilt kits, 1 table runner kit, and about 100 patterns! What fun! Thx for your information and inspiration!

  502. Michelle says:

I have six that I am actively working on. Another 8 planned out and fabric set aside in my head and probably six kits that I should be working on lol. But these would be a cute table runner!

  503. Joanne Clark says:

I have around 7 WIP, this includes 3 finished quilt tops which need to be sandwiched and quilted. I love these fabrics and your videos and of course love seeing your Ginger Ninja! lol

I have enjoy revisiting the projects and it has also inspired even more new ideas. So far I have completed 2 Wip’s and completed 2 new projects as well. I would love, love, love to give your beautiful unfinished project. I love it. The fabrics you selected are so lovely. I always enjoy your videos and they bring joy to my days. Thank you.

  505. Ms. Anne T. Strasner says:

  509. lrwalters14 says:

I have 3 works in progress!! One for my daughter, one for my husband and one for me!! I’ve just started quilting 2 years ago and I have only finished 2 quilts but I look forward to finishing these this year!

  515. Jan Williams says:

Surprisingly, I have no quilt top WIPS. I work on 1 at a time, then once I send off to the Longarmer, I begin the next project. That said, I must bind the top currently being quilted by the Longarmer once returned, but I don’t really think of that as a WIP…especially since once returned, I bind it so it is finished. wiahing I couls say the same for my xstitch or beading projects or others of my crafts…LOL.

I so enjoy watching you videos, Corey. You are so authentic, kind and creative…AND so easy to listen to.

    Have a great.month!

  516. Barbara Bohlen says:

I currently don’t have any wipes I’m new to quilting. So I’m hoping to have a couple for this year

  517. Mandy Adams says:

I have about 10 WIP. that I need to get on wiyj

  518. Shirley C. says:

I have two WIP. The first, I’m finishing hand sewing the binding on, and the second, I’m putting on the borders. I’m fairly new to quilting and would enjoy a new project. I love the fabrics and pattern of your giveaway. Thank you so much for sharing your quilting skills and for the very beautiful fabric designs you bring to the world.

  519. Judy Jackson says:

I had 5 WIP a few weeks ago but decided it was time to finish those before starting new quilt tops. I am now down to one only and plan to accumulate no more than 3 at a time this year as I go forward.
I am donating them to a charity in Northern Canada where they are needed by families with babies and young children.

  520. lisadoc says:

I have 5 WIPS and am slowly getting to them. I regrettably started a temperature quilt in 2022 and am at May! It’s so boring!!!! But i will finish it because it bugs me that it is in a box and unable to see the day of light.

I do enjoy watching your videos and I love the cat. My cat “helps” me too! I hope you have a wonderful New Year.

  523. Terri McCluskey says:

I have 7 or 8 WIP’s, three of them are just quilts that need binding. 2 are fabric and patterns that I have ready to start. The others are truly WIP’s. Along with that I have loads of fabric with patterns in mind that haven’t been started at all, but are on my list. Always more patterns and BOM’s I want to join coming out daily, lol I just love all the fabrics and patterns, its always so hard to decide. I think your WIP give away is incredible and so generous of you. I love the fabrics you pick and the pattern. I would be honored to receive and complete it. Thank you for all you do and present to us on your tube and the blog….

  524. Pineneedles4 says:

Thank you, Corey for talking about your UFO’s. My goal this year is to finish at least one project a month but so far this year I’ve finished nine projects; some are small but it still feels great to finish them. It’s refreshing to hear that others have old projects they’re trying to finish.

  525. Tanya Perrin says:

I am actually shocked as a new quilter to learn that I already have 9 WIP! How does this even happen? lol At the risk of sounding just a little bit creepy- I’d love to come by and just sit with my coffee and stare at your beautiful wall of fabrics! OMG….They make me smile. I only have two children and I am constantly getting their names mixed up – so I have NO idea how you keep rattling off the names of all your fabrics!? haha

  529. Stephanie J Ernst says:

I really appreciate your videos and blog postings! Are you defining WIP’s as projects cut and in various stages of completion? If so, then I currently have 7 projects as WIP. If you define it as fabric purchased with a project in mind then I’m in trouble…the number jumps to about 60….then there will be all the scraps! I love French General and Laundry Basket Quilt fabrics. Several collections from both designers are in my list of 60!

  530. Pam says:

I have probably five WIPs now. Caught up on many during Covid.
    Love the giveaway fabrics.

  531. Laurie Shepherd says:

I have about 11 WIPs. Thank you for your videos. I’m fairly new to quilting and have learned a lot from you. I love that you are an Ohio girl too. I love the look and colors of this project.

  532. Renee Reinhardt says:

I love the idea of finishing up wips. I have kinda thought of this for 2023 also. I started your quilt along on the scrappy Irish chain, just to use up my scraps, so I can move on to making other quilts. Thanks for the giveaway , and all your great videos.

  533. Laurie Mac says:

I have 5 WIP’s in progress, and probably adding another since my niece is having a baby. 😊. Love watching your YouTube and reading your blog.

  534. Tracy Parsons says:

I have about 6 wips going

  535. Barb Schneider says:

I’ve spending January finishing projects that have been sitting around years too long because I’d like to start with fresh projects. I’m on my last so I’m ready for a new challenge!

    kathysfibers@gmail.com

  539. Shelley Riley says:

I’m a new quilter with only two completed quilts, a few placemats and some table runners for practice. Quilt #3 is getting borders now and #4 is on the design wall. So, I guess you could say that I have just 2 WIPs. I love all the coordinating French General type fabrics you chose for your Granny Square quilt. The old style colors and prints really speak to me. I do hope we get to see the finished project at some point from whoever gets the fabrics. I think it’s going to be beautiful. Keep the videos coming. I enjoy all the ideas and inspiration I get from watching them.

  540. Diana Hernandez says:

Hello, I am a beginner so I only have 7 WIP’s. I have what I need to finish the tops, but always have to wait on the backing. $$$ Thank you for this opportunity.

  541. Janette says:

I think I have about 6 WIPs, one I know I will never finish and plan on giving it to someone at our Guild who would be interested in finishing it. Love your videos and your star seeking cat. Janette

  542. Lisa Jacobsen says:

WIPs- oh my! I bet I have over 20….way too many!😳

  543. Emma Hancox says:

I currently have 1. I just need to quilt it.

  544. Michele Breault says:

I wish I were Emma with onlyone. I have a closet full of quilt tops ready to be quilted and 3 bins of “works in progress”. ADHD anyone?

  545. Brian says:

Hi. I’d love to win the giveaway. I really like the pattern and the fabrics you have put together. I have a lot of ufos, but at one point I had over 50, and that number is definitely now less than 20. My biggest ufo is Dear Jane. I too sometimes fall out of love with a project and give it away to someone who wants it. There is no point of putting more energy into a project if you no longer love it. Thanks for your inspiring channel and blog. Pick me. Lol

  546. Cindy Ackley says:

I have to admit I have at least 10 WIPS. The fabrics and pattern in the giveaway are beautiful. Thanks for all that you share and the inspiration.

  547. Jaime Maranville says:

Hi Corey! I am scared to count my WIP’s. I probably have at least 15 projects I have started. At least 15-20 tops in my pile of finished and waiting to be quilted and so many more I have organized with fabric and patterns waiting to be started. I quilt and longarm for Project Linus so it’s difficult sometimes to find time for personal projects, but I love the challenge!

  548. Linda Woldring says:

Hi! I have my fair share of WIPs … 9 waiting for me to baste and quilt, 7 in piecing stages, and 5 kits waiting in the wings. 2023 plan is to not purchase any kits or piecing fabric, just backing, border, batting, thread and maybe tools if needed.

  549. Darla Sitler says:

Hi Corey! I currently have 2 WIPS. Starting a new quilt project…which will be a wedding gift to my son and future daughter-in-law. Once it is finished, I hope to get back to my WIPS.

  550. andybault says:

I have a self-imposed rule of not starting a new project before the previous one is ready for the long arm. However, I am breaking my own rule. I have 4 in progress and a 5th I am preparing fabric for. Those new ideas keep calling out to me!

  551. Sandra M Montey says:

Hi Corey! I have one WIP right now – an EPP project I started using scraps from making masks during COVID. (shhh….some new fabric got in there too!). I would love to receive the project you started!

  552. Jessie says:

I’ve started cutting scraps for the scrappy Irish chain. Still have more scraps to cut. I have 5 or six tops made but they needs to get basted and quilted. I need to get started on a baby quilt for a friend!

  553. Raindrops says:

I have quite a few wips as well, but would love to win this one to do my 2023 red/wh/blu quilt. I think it looks so old fashioned with the taupe in it.

  554. Shelly Saucedo says:

I think I currently (that I know of for sure – lol) have 10 WIP’s – oh wait I just finished one yesterday so I now have 9 WIP’s. love your videos and your patterns & fabrics.

  555. Heather W says:

I currently have five, but I already finished my oldest and largest just this month. Love the scrappy irish chain and am following along.

  556. Jane Myhre says:

I have 3 major WIPs for which I have set deadlines. But, I have many other WIPs. It is fun to see your WIPs and finishes. Love your videos, fabric lines and patterns.

  557. Annette Ellis says:

I have four WIPs to finish. One is your Heartfelt quilt. The WIP you are giving away looks like it would be a beautiful Red, white and blue quilt. Thank you for all you do Corey. I love watching and learning new techniques from you. Thank you 🧵❤️🧵

  558. Nicole Martin says:

Oh gosh, you are really asking us to air our dirty secrets, aren’t you? 😂 I have two tops ready to quilt. There are 4 WIPs that I’m willing to commit to finishing. And I only have a million on my list that I would love to make this year1

  559. Nancy J Shaner says:

I think I have 8 WIP’s. Three are started and I work on them now and then. The others are resting in their project boxes waiting for me. I love scrappy quilts or that scrappy look.

  560. Sherry McConathy says:

I have at least 10 WIPs. I just got back into quilting more this last year, so some of them are older. I’m hoping to finish most of them this year.

I am currently in the process of organizing my sewing room which was recently expanded :). I am also trying to organizing all supplies and WIPs ! I will admit to having at least 5 WIPs, but I just recently discovered a project that I started 20 years ago when I was learning how to quilt (I will be finishing that one!)
Thank you for your positive news uplifting videos! They always inspire me to sew!

  564. Andrea Westpfahl says:

Not counting all the finished tops still needing to be quilted, I have at least 5 WIPs, but would be thrilled to have one of yours! Your color choices are always so beautiful.

  565. Rikke Laustrup says:

    Hi
    I have 2 wip.
1 year Old and 1 handsown thats ower 20 years

  566. MiChelle M. Jaggard 4200 Scotty Drive Amarillo, Texas 79110 says:

Hi Cory I have many project quilts ready to start but I haven’t started any of them! I am working on Winter Soltice. A large quilt that I ironed appliques to (many of them) the quilt came that way. Well they all started coming off and curling up on the ends and corners so I am sewing each one down with matching thread. I am down now to just green, cream, white and black! I can’t wait to get it finished so I can move on. It has dogs, cats, snow men with buttons, hats, carrot noses, hats, scarves, houses with roofs, chimneys, windows, curtins, doors OH MY GOSH! the lish is endless but it will be beautiful, can I send you a picture? Anyway I would love to have your material and blocks and finish the quilt top, it is beautiful and in my colors. You are a generous woman. Thank you for all your videos, insperation, and beautiful fabrics. I am using beautiful day for the block of the month by FQS for book 4 of Jolly Bars! and your beautiful fabric for the new Charity Quilt. Thanks again, MiChelle

  567. Sherri Gibson says:

I have already identified 9, but your sweet blocks would be such a great addition!
    💗💗💗

  568. Tania Dressler says:

Hi Corey, I have 4 WIP, just getting done with a bh mystery quilt and cutting out for the scrappy Irish chain. But really motivated to use my scraps and trying to contain “mt. Scrapmore”!

  569. Christie Schepers says:

I have 7 Wip’s. Would love to finish yours!

  570. Sharon Judkins says:

I have 9 that are in process of completion. This doesn’t include tops waiting for quilting.

  571. Victoria Hawkins says:

I have 11works in progress, which includes 3 started just this month! In addition to those, I have 24 completed and waiting for me to get to them on my longarm. I’ve had it for four years, but I still struggle. Right now, I’ve got my Oh Happy Day quilt (in Buttercup and Slate) loaded and started. Will finish her tomorrow. You inspire me.

  572. Ramona Johnson says:

I think the answer is “too many”, but I just love starting projects when I see them. I have 2 old UFOs, but the rest of my projects are being worked on continuously. Love your videos.

  573. Christine Dorrance says:

I think I have about 12! Gads that is overwhelming when I say it out loud. But I would love to add these blocks and fabric to it!! And I love your Dresden with the little Ohio star. Love watching you Corey!!!

  574. Marlene McKellips says:

What a wonderful pattern. I would love to try that one out.

  575. Pamela Emery says:

This looks like a challenging pattern, one that I would learn new skills by doing. I’ve always wanted to do a type of Granny Squared for my Mom. But haven’t done it yet. As finding forgotten blocks, yes, one for an On-point lap quilt that was going to be used for a Prayer Lap Quilt. But not enough fabric was given to me. Just a thought 💭 I could make a Prayer pillow case! WIP’s lost count, John Wayne material from RBD Cowboy Quilt for my Dad. Sewcialites 2, getting ready for “Sunwashed” and Barn Star Sampler Quilt Sew-a-long with FQS. GIVE TIGGS a great big smooch 😘 and hug 🤗

  576. Donna Hiorns says:

I currently have less than 10 quilt wips. Getting better about finishing them and off to family/friends who express interest, some I will keep and the rest I donate to fundraisers for charities I support including guide dog schools. I have been a volunteer puppyraiser for a guide dog school raising and sharing daily life with German Shepherd pups from 8 weeks to about 14-16 months when they are returned to the guide dog school for finish training and placement with someone who is visually impaired. I love to support this important charity with my quilts as fundraisers.
Thank you for the opportunity to get a wip from you and add to my donation.

  577. Janet Sloan says:

Hi , Cori I love your fabrics & your videos ! I have probably 15 – 20 WIP quilting projects . I have many more crocheting & cross stitch projects ! Fabric scraps & piecing quilts is my passion .

  578. Pamela Emery says:

    Corey
For You’re newly, old Dresden Quilt Blocks. Could you maybe guess how much fabric would be needed to do a Queen size quilt. And the Fabrics for Give-A-Away, would you consider them to look like Civil War fabrics? Also, I’m trying to figure out the Proposal Quilt in the O’Happy Day book. I’m making a King Size for Nephew ‘s Wedding in July 2023.

    • Corey says:

I wouldn’t even be able to guess on the fabric requirements without sitting down and spending some time doing the math or they wouldn’t be accurate at all! =) I don’t consider the giveaway fabrics to be Civil War fabrics. And the easiest way to increase the size of any quilt is to either add blocks, add borders, or do both. =)

  579. Cathy says:

I have at least 10, that I can think of. Plus others packed away in boxes that I don’t remember.

  580. Pamela Emery says:

    Hi Corey
Once again I have a question about Martingale Publishing going out of business. 😞 The books that you published through them, are you going to buy the rights back? I’m so glad that I bought the “O’Happy Day” book. But I know Kimberly at Fat Quarter Shop has sold out of previous mentioned book. How can we get physical copies of You’re books? Inquiring Mind wants to know

  581. Debi says:

I have eight WIPS currently and few more to start, but your WIP would be a very nice one to add. I love the fabrics you chose. Sewing in retirement has been soothing to my soul. Thank you for your patterns, videos and fabrics!!

  582. lauren rogers says:

I must have over 10 to 15 works in progress, sad to say. I’m like a dog, I start on something and then “Squirrel ” comes around and I’m on to something new lol

  583. Amber LaNae Smith says:

    I have 3 WIP’s. Luckily, only 1 is a quilt…that I started a year ago! Thanks for offering your WIP 🙂

  584. Tresha Cottrill says:

I have way too many WIPs! I would be embarrassed to say if I knew. I lost count a long time ago. I would still love to win these blocks. I had just saved this pattern on Pinterest thinking that it might be a fun one to make.

  585. Cathy Lester says:

I have three WIPS at this time. One is your Leaves with your Cozy Up fabric. Love it.

  587. Amanda Thompson says:

I am currently working on a baby quilt, so I’m counting that one. My list off the top of my head is 8, which is at least 3 tops that need quilting, and then the rest in various stages. I’m fairly that number is higher because we recently swapped my guest room and craft room and some closed storage tubs haven’t meandered to their new home.

  588. Sue Fraser says:

    Hi Corey!
I currently have 7 WIP’s; 4 are being worked on now but I will finish all of them. That doesn’t include other needle art projects – I love anything that keeps my hands busy and my heart happy! The colors in your WIP giveaway look like the Americana theme I have going in my family room.
Thanks for sharing your tips and love of quilting. God’s blessings to you and your family!

  589. Stacey says:

I probably have about 20-25 WIPS and that’s okay with me. Sewing them made me happy and that what’s it’s all about to me. I haven’t met a quilt or sew along that I haven’t joined. I’d love to finish up these granny squares.

  590. Hazel Duvall says:

I have 4 WIPS two just need binding and one needs the border.Last but not least socialites 2.love you and your fabric would be so great to work on your WIPS ❤️

  591. Shar says:

    Hi Corey and friends
As I have been straightening and cleaning my sewing room, I have been finding a few unfinished quilts…yikes 6 of them. I still love them and will continue working on them. There’s always a new sew along popping up which sometimes steer me away from the current project…unless it’s a gift quilt. Love watching you Corey. Thanks for your cheery videos 😉

  592. Joyce Baird says:

Between unfinished blocks and finished tops that need quilting probably 10. Lots more that I have fabric for and haven’t touched yet.

  593. Linda Eisenzimmer says:

I love working on multiple projects at once. Good to know I am not alone. Sometimes I feel like piecing or cutting or even doing handwork. I started your scrappy chain quilt-a-long. I definitely needed to break up the cutting for that project! I guess if I have to count I am at 12!

Thanks for the opportunity to enter your giveaway!!

  595. Karen L Goldie says:

    Hi Corey,
I love the colors you chose for this project. I’m always working on a variety of projects because I like to mix things up. I have 3 scrap projects, one with crumbs, one with 2.5 in squares, and one with 1.5 in strips, that are being done over time, I have 4 projects in various stages of completion…. one only needs a binding. Plus, I just began a mystery quilt-along. So I guess that’s eight!

  596. Diana Minor says:

I think I have 6 WIPs and more that are not yet started. Love watching your videos.

  597. Stephanie Z Hironimus says:

  600. Tabitha says:

I currently have about 8-10 wips in progress, I seem to always start and get the blocks made then, I find another fabric or pattern I like and just have to see it worked up. I always say it’s ok I’ll finish them later. I eventually do, I just like seeing new blocks sewn together. Thanks for this giveaway, the fabric and is so beautiful.

  601. Nancy Tyler says:

  608. mbiswell says:

Ohmygosh, how many wips? Hmm, I have 2 quilt tops almost finished, 3 cut out but not yet made it to the sewing machine. A qayg hexie quilt that I do from time to time. I started to quilt blocks for a quilt jacket. Then I opened up a crate and found 2 more quilt tops.. I’ve stopped looking. So probably about 10 quilt things but then I also knit & crochet and there’s no way that I’m going to count them as I’d feel too guilty!
You have just a great eye for colour & I’m drooling (ever so slightly) over your giveaway pile!

  609. Kris Detweile says:

I have 1 work in progress that I can’t get motivated to finish as it’s hard, but watching your videos encourage me to get it done.

  611. Linda E Mahoney says:

Oh dear – I have at least 25 WIP right now. There are so many good ideas for quilts out there that I get carried away! I just started using your fabrics in quilts and recently spent a lot of money on a line I am using to make Sherri McConnell’s BOM quilt and a quilt by Lella Boutique. The fabric store had a bunch of your fabric on sale and I bought a lot of it! I can’t wait to ourchase somee Sunwashed fabric. I love the videos you do on You Tube. Thanks for all you do to keep the quilt community going!

  612. Mary Ann Gill says:

  626. Kristen White says:

I only have a few WIP’s at the moment and would really like to work on this one.

  631. I have a few less works in progress this week! I had to squeeze in some alterations for my daughters, but then I was able to complete some winter projects recently. Does it count as “WIP” if you haven’t started it yet?? 🙂 I’ve got lots of those but a handful of actual WIP.

I make quilts of valor and quilts for graduation gifts for at-risk high school seniors at our local high school who are managing to graduate against the odds of being homeless sometime during their high school career. I would love to turn your squares into quilts for ones of these important projects!

  646. Rene Perry says:

  647. Theresa A. says:

Hi Corey, I really enjoy your videos. I have 12 WIPS which is including sewing binding onto five quilts. My husband keeps asking when am I going to get the binding on them (I just think one of these days). I loved seeing your Dresden blocks. Making a Dresden quilt is on my bucket list for this year and I hope to do that. Thank you for a great giveaway!

  648. Leeah M says:

I would love to receive your Confetti Cake project and I promise it would get done as I love your fabrics. Thank you for all of your inspiration, your videos, your books and your beautiful fabrics!

  654. Pilar says:

Off the top of my head I have about 5-6 WIPs. I have seen a few videos about organizing for the new year and rounding up those WIPs so that they can get done this current year BUT I haven’t done that yet. I totally love the fabrics for this giveaway!! I would absolutely love to receive them.

  655. Kathy Guenther says:

  656. Karleen Page says:

I have no idea how many WIPS I have! More than a dozen I’m sure! I’m afraid to take inventory! LOL In addition, I have several finished tops that need to be quilted. Two of the quilts are designs of yours that I work on periodically. One is the Goodness Grows BOM that was in the Sew Sampler box a few years ago. I somehow managed to make TWO of each block because I confused myself with buying all kinds of fabric. Long story! Another one has to do with Sunshine, but I can’t remember the exact name. It has a panel that goes with it. I haven’t started that one yet, except for gathering the fabric. And there’s loads of Christmas quilts that I’m trying to quilt on my home machine. I can’t afford a longarmer for sure, since I’m on a fixed income. So why do I want to take on your WIP when I have so many WIPS of my own? Heaven knows! LOL Thanks for your generosity Corey!

  657. Jenny-Lyn says:

I currently have 9 W.I.P. (counting current sew alongs). and …gulp😂😂😂…. 18 quilt tops that are waiting to be quilted. Since I don’t send any of my quilts away to a long-arm quilter- I count my quilt tops as W.I.P’s , too – for a grand total of … 27! Eeek.
I really enjoy your YouTube content. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. Your cat makes me giggle. I sew with my 4 cats and 2 dogs and they are a constant comic relief

  663. Harriet says:

I’m relatively new to this, so I have 3 wips. But I’ve got a looot in crochet and beading. Can’t have just one project going on, can we ? 😉

I have 5 WIP in progress. Disclaimer .. I may have one or 2 tucked away in a closet too! I would love to finish that for you. Love your fabric. I have 3 FQ sets of Strawberry Jam that I have been hoarding for a special quilt.

  668. Beth H says:

First let me say I love your product lines and your videos. I probably have about 30 works in progress and I don’t even know how many kits or projects I have that I haven’t started. The bright side of all of this is if I’m collecting them for my retirement, which I hope can happen in two years.

  669. Kathy Clarke says:

I am in the process of making a list of how many wip/ufos I have. Unfortunately the fabric on the other side of the fence always looks so enticing. I am not sure how many WIP’s I have. A lot of them getting them quilted. I have 4 or 5 that are in various stages of getting done. I am working on one now and know I have at least two more that just need the blocks sewn together. I have now been sewing for over three month due to back surgery but I am back to that now but have to pace myself. I love the fabrics you have chosen and that is one project that I have on my list to do next when I get some of the pieced ones done.

  687. Jackie says:

I think I have about 12 WIPs currently but I did make a new year resolution to get some finished before starting something new. One of my quilts was the Very Coriander Christmas blocks that I started in 2020. I was using Brenda Riddle’s Dover fabric line. I have just this week out all the blocks together and am about to order extra fabric to do borders and backing and it will be done. I loved the challenge of these lovey big blocks so thank you for designing them.

    Hello Corey,
I have a few projects in progress…but sadly, my very first quilting project from 32 years ago remains in the unfinished pile…it was a quilt for my soon-to-be husband. I need to finish that and surprise that precious man with it. Your videos are so enjoyable and your work is gorgeous! Thank you for the giveaway; it’s very kind of you…blessings!

  717. Leticia Janssens says:

Hi Corey, just walking around my sewing room I count 22 wip, but I’m sure there could be more stashed around. Now this doesn’t count all the projects waiting to be cut into and started. Watching you I am encouraged to keep working one at a time whittling away at each one. It feels so good to finish something. I really don’t know how you manage to complete so much with all your deadlines. Super quilter. 😀

  718. Theresa Baethke says:

    Corey,
You are a recent find and I love your friendly smile and easy conversational style. I have counted 24, and had to stop counting since I am supposed to be working! LOL (so, I guess this is an early lunch!).
I would very much like to finish up your WIP. I love the colors and I love the block. Do you think I could do it as a leader/ender? I have been looking for something like that to do.
Thank you for considering me to re-home your WIP!

  719. Kathy Hughes says:

I have about 6 quilt that are in the process of finishing. I would love to get the Confetti Cake quilt to finish along with my own ones. Winter is such a good time to finish up projects that need done. Love your information in all of your videos. Thanks Kathy

  724. Sarah Schulz says:

I currently have five started projects but over a hundred that are on the shelf waiting to be started.

  725. Carla Bales says:

Thanks for the couragement. I’m very new to quilting in general. I have one extra large queen flannel quilt I made for my own bed that needs a binding but we are using it right now. We heat our home with a wood stove so our room gets very chilly and I didn’t want to wait once our latest cold front came in.
Other than that I have a throw quilt I’m working on for our couch and that’s it. Loads of ideas and want to but nothing else in the works.
I’d be really excited to recertification those beautiful fabrics and pattern!!

  726. Donna G says:

Hi, Corey! Love you You Tube videos. Right now I have about 8 works in progress, but my brain is always thinking about something else to start on. I’m loving the Scrappy Irish Chain project and hope I can actually finish one of those soon.

  727. Kathryn Hall says:

I JUST discovered your channel yesterday while searching for “scrappy” quilts! I have been binge watching your videos all day today! I have only 1 WIP bc funds don’t allow me to buy too much fabric at once. I taught myself to quilt this year watching uTube videos and would love a chance to win your giveaway. I’m originally from Ohio and I recognized the Yoder name and the SugarCreek area I was there many years ago. Blessings from GA. 💕

  728. Tina Stevenson says:

So generous of you! I currently have 2 WIP (one piecing and one handwork EPP)….I don’t have any UFO’s…I had an amazing mentor/teacher who beat into my brain “Finish what you start”…plus, I just get too excited to see end results that I can’t put them aside. Love, your blog and videos..thank you for all your hints and tricks..

Hey Friends!--I'd love to hear from you. =)
