May 2023 $5 Pattern of the Month

Happy May!  It’s my birthday month as well as my oldest daughter’s so it’s a special month indeed.  She will be 18 which makes me older than that LOL. =)  I can’t believe that I’ll have an 18 year old graduate.

Actually, both of my girls finished up their school for the year last week.  We celebrated by taking an impromptu mom/daughter trip to the Myrtle Beach area from Thursday through Monday.  It was so nice!  We stayed in a beachfront home with a pool and spent our days traipsing from the pool to the beach.  The weather was nice and warm (especially compared to Ohio weather right now) and we definitely soaked up some sun. =)  Now, I technically have a high school graduate and a high school freshman…goodness!

All of that to say, that some of my work things got put on the back burner.  One of which, was releasing the May $5 pattern of the month.  For this month, I am offering my Star Striped pattern for $5.  I have the pattern available in either PDF or Paper patterns in my Etsy shop here.

Star Striped is made using a couple prints from Sunwashed.  I did mention in the video, that if you are drawn to the blues in this line, I would purchase those sooner rather than later as they tend to sell pretty quickly.  If you want to see the other quilts I designed for Sunwashed you can see the blog post here and the video here.  You can also see all of the fabrics from Sunwashed in this blog post.  They are in quilt shops right now.
