Moda Blockheads Round 5: Sunshine Star Block

Sunshine Star is on the agenda today for Moda Blockheads. =)  Isn’t that a pretty block that Sherri McConnell has for us today?

The Sunshine Star block pattern is available here.

It’s a super quick blog post for today as I am getting ready to head out to Houston tomorrow for International Quilt Market.  I think the last time I went was either fall of 2018 or spring of 2019….I don’t recall which.  In any event, it’s been a bit!—and I feel like my quilt market game has gotten a little bit rusty LOL. =)  I’ve been in full “getting all of the things ready” and trying to remember everything I used to take along to make a cute booth. =)

I’ll be sharing about all things Starberry in my booth this weekend.  I haven’t even had a chance to talk much about it here on the blog!  Once I get back, I’ll have so many fun things to share here.  I’ll show more pictures of the fabrics, all of the new quilts, we have videos planned…it’s going to be fun!  In the meantime, be sure to let your favorite quilt shop know they can order Starberry right now for it to ship to them in the spring.

Have a great day & see you back here next week! Corey

Corey, I’m sure your booth will be the cutest one there no matter what you do. I would love to attend something like that, but that’s not going to happen so I will settle for reading about the experiences others have and enjoy hearing what they share. Enjoy your time there and tell us all about it afterwards! Love your new line, Starberry. It will be a hit, I’m sure!

    Hi, Corey
I Love the “Peachy Keen” and “Blueberry Delight” fabrics together. Now I’m seeing that mixing To Many Colors may not work for me. I was going to try and Mix-Up All of “Sunwashed” and “Peachy Keen.” My Brain can’t do it. With all the variables of the different combinations of Fabrics, I can’t figure even 1 Block. So My Question ❓ how Many Fabrics should I choose, is there a Magic Number?
If I choose Blue, Coral and Green for base color scheme. And pick 2 Blues from Each collection, 2 Corals from Each collection and 2 Greens from Each collection. That would be 10 different Fabrics. Plus the Tone on Tone. I’m going to try to do both Sizes also.

Hey Friends!--I'd love to hear from you. =)
