My Sewcialites Quilt Along Layout Plan
Isn’t it fun seeing all of those pretty Sewcialites blocks all together? These blocks are from round 1 and round 2 of Sewcialites all in the 3″ size. They are a happy mix of mostly Spring Brook and Buttercup & Slate fabrics. I also know at least one piece of Sundrops found its’ way into these blocks too. =) Now, what to make with all of these blocks? =)
You will find the FQS layout instructions for this round here.
As I mentioned last week, there have been a couple different layout options already shared by FQS (including those from last year). Plus different options being shared in the Facebook group. If you missed me chatting about that last week, you can find that blog post here. If you’ve missed any of the free patterns for either round of Sewcialites, they are still available. And just a reminder that you get to choose the size you make these in…3″, 6″, or 9″. If you’ve missed any of the blocks from this round of Sewcialites (Round 2), you can find all them here. And if you missed Round 1, all of those blocks are available here.
I am chatting all about how I plan to sew these blocks together in the YouTube video just released today. Go take a watch and let me know how you are planning on finishing your blocks!
You can watch the video here. Have a wonderful Friday! Corey
Love all your little blocks!!! I can’t wait to see what you make with them!!! Thank you for all you do!
Aren’t they so cute!
Thank you for putting all these links in one place. I adore your tiny perfect blocks!
You are so welcome…thank you!
All of your sweet little blocks💖. They look so pretty all laid out! With your granny square print on top and bottom and all those little blocks in the center- WOW! All I can say is just WOW!!!
That granny print adds a little pizzazz to the layout!
All of those blocks are fabulous! You brighten my days Corey Yoder!😜❤️❤️
Thanks for including the link to the page with all the Round 2 blocks. I definitely missed some of them and am so glad to have the page to refer to. Happy Spring!
I love all of those tiny little blocks. I would never attempt them…..i would have a real hot mess for sure. But yours are just adorable. I can’t wait to see your final quilt. Glad you are doing it and using all of the blocks in one quilt. Awesome!
Corey, I made my first quilt 36 years ago. I decided it was time to start quilting again and found you on Youtube and I must say I love love love your fabrics, your style, the way you teach and your patterns. I just downloaded all the Sewcialites blocks (round 1 and 2). I just wanted to say thank you for all you do! I eagerly await each new video and blog post from you. I want to come to Ohio and meet you in person! Cheers!
This is so nice of you to say. Thank you so much! I really enjoy quilting and fabrics and it’s so fun to share that with others. =)
A question: I purchased the Roadside Harvest quilt pattern and am excited to make this. I was wondering if a Jelly Roll would work instead of a fat eighth bundle. Love Cozy Up.
No, a jelly roll is quite a bit less fabric than a fat eighth bundle and you wouldn’t have enough.
I’m looking for your quilt pattern Reindeer with ornaments on his Antlers.
Cory, I have learned so much from you. I especially like your way of sewing a line of blocks. That is what I do now, it makes it so much easier. Thank you so much.
