Ohio’s Amish Country Shop Hop 2025

At the end of October, Ryan & I had the fun of visiting the 12 Ohio shops that participated in this year’s Amish Country Shop Hop.

Every year, the shops choose a fabric to feature and this year they chose Abloom fabrics. It was so much fun to stop in at each shop and see the sampler quilt they designed using Abloom, purchase my little sampler block kit, and look at all of the pretty fabrics, quilts, notions, samples, and more. Plus, each shop had a little snack for all of the shop hoppers. It was a lot of fun to visit all of my hometown favorites as well as make first time visits to quilt shops that are now closer to me in my new hometown!

We filmed each store that we visited and you get to come along. Today’s video is full of so much eye candy! I hope you enjoy watching. =) If you see something you are interested in purchasing at any of the shops along they way, I have their shop info in the description box below the video on YouTube.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Corey

You are truly an inspiration to us all! I watch your videos every Saturday. Your fabrics are beautiful and your patterns are too! I’m new to quilting and don’t have a lot of time to give to it yet. You have several patterns I am considering. Happy holidays! I used to live in Ohio a long time ago. From Sharon, now in Oregon

I loved watching your hop shop tour video this morning! It showcased such beautiful quilts! I especially loved seeing the ways headboards and footboards were used to create lovely benches. I think that is a wonderful way to continue use of old beds. I have a set of twin beds and the bed frame that was being used when I was born! I think the benches would be an incredible way to display quilts in a home. Mine, too, because my husband enjoys wood working. It must be incredible to travel to the shops you visited/toured. I am eagerly awaiting your block and finishing the quilt top I have been working on this year! Thanks so much for all you do! I hope you and all your family enjoy this holiday season! And a happy new year 2026!
    Sincerely,
    Pam Wimberly

Corey and Ryan, thanks so much for taking us along with you on the Shop Hop! I really loved seeing all of the quilt shops, especially as I don’t have any near to me. It scratched an itch I didn’t know I had, lol. I eagerly look forward to Saturday mornings, knowing there will be a video with your smiling face first thing. It’s a great way to start the day. Thank you!

Thanks for including us on your shop hop trip! Each shop is so unique and has its own personality! Each one of the finished quilts using your “Abloom” fabrics is also very unique and spectacular! I especially loved the one in the last shop of this video that was hand quilted. So beautiful! I’m looking forward to the next video!

I love your videos but this one is especially nice. The country side was beautiful and the shops make me want to buy one of everything. I also enjoyed seeing a michigan quilt at one of the shops. You don’t see that very often. Thank you for sharing the tour with us. Looking forward to the next one.

Thanks for your two videos taking us on your Amish Country Shop Hop! I LOVE Shop Hops, and, being from Michigan, I may have to plan a trip to visit soon. I’m especially looking forward to seeing both buildings of the Miller’s Dry Goods. Love watching all of your Saturday videos, and your fabrics are always some of my favorites.

  19. Joyce Bird says:

Your Shop Hop videos were outstanding. We only have two small quality quilt shops in my area and it was so much fun looking at the ones you visited. I had 3 favorites – Miller’s Dry Goods for their organization, Anna Louisa’s for the location (it was so beautiful), and Carlisle Fabrics and Quilts had my favorite Shop Hop Quilt. Thank you so much for the delightful tour. I hope someday to visit the area and see all the shops.

Hi Corey, as a woman who lives in Ohio, Northeast we have several quilt shops near me, but yours were fantastic. I had never heard of Carlisle’s Fabric, so road trip as soon as the snow is gone. Thank you so much for taking us with you. Kudos to Ryan and the beautiful quilt he bought you. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

I enjoyed watching the shop hop, thank you for taking us with you! So many great shops with wonderful samples! Fun fact, my mother-in law used to own a quilt shop in her house in PA, but she retaired and closed it. So generous of you to giveaway the blocks! Thank you for the chance to win it!
