Round 4 Moda Block Heads: Block 8

It’s a super quick post for today to share block 8 of Moda Block Heads with you all.

Our block for this week, Wild Geese, is brought to us by Kate Spain.

You will find the block pattern here.

This block is made entirely of HST’s so brush up on your half-square-triangle skills and start piecing.  =)  For my 9″ blocks, I cut all of the pieces at 3 1/4″…you could also bump this up to 3 1/2″ if you wanted to.  Either of these measurements will give you room to trim your HST’s down to size.

It’s a lot of fun each week to pull out my little stash of Cozy Up and piece these blocks.  Happy sewing!
