Sewcialites Block 23

I am so happy to share another Sewcialites block with you this week.

This is block #23 of our weekly BOM and it is brought to us by Sherri McConnell.  You will find the block pattern in the usual spots on the Fat Quarter Shop Blog here  or  all of the blocks that have been released so far can all be downloaded here–so be sure to bookmark this link!   This is the handiest spot to visit to download the blocks.

I took my photo in front of our little weeping redbud tree yesterday…still no buds…but one of these days there will be!  In fact, yesterday was the coldest, rainiest, most blustery Ohio day we have had in a while.  We have been spoiled with beautiful weather the last week or so.  I suppose we were due for a cold, rainy day!

So, I stayed inside and sewed this little cutie up.  Look at how nicely the print in the very center worked out.  You might think I planned that, and I wish I could take credit, but it just turned out that way. =)  If anyone else is making this block using Spring Brook and perfectly frames out all of their orange peels, I want to see it!  It is the perfect sized print (in this 3″ block) to fussy cut.
