Starberry Quilts Trunk Show!
Merry morning eve of Christmas Eve?…I think that title works for the morning of the eve before Christmas Eve! In any event, I have a festive Starberry trunk show for you to enjoy today.
Maybe you need a little break this weekend and are looking for an excuse to sit down, grab a hot drink, and relax a bit. I am here to provide just that for you. =) I’m going to chat about my brand new Starberry quilt patterns, share some pretty pictures, and you can also pop over to YouTube and see the quilts in even more detail. So, grab that drink and let’s chat quilts. =)
First up, you can watch the Starberry trunk show video here. I’m always able to share more in the video than I can type here on the blog so I’d love if you’d take a peek. =)
All of these quilt patterns are now available in my Etsy shop in both PDF and Paper versions. Be sure to read to the end of the post for something fun I am including in the packages of those ordering the full set of Starberry patterns (while supplies last).
First, let’s chat about Wooly Wall Hanging:
Wooly Wall Hanging is a one block version (with cute borders) of my popular Wooly Stars pattern. Wooly Wall Hanging finishes at 40″ square.
My quilter, David, used the Mums quilting design to quilt this quilt which is the same quilting design used on my original Wooly Stars quilt.
Next up is Deerly Loved:
Deerly Loved is slightly larger than Wooly Wallhanging finishing at 42″ square.
David used the Portal quilting design on Deerly Loved. I think it’s such a great quilting design for this quilt.
Let’s move on to some of the larger quilts I designed for this line. Starry Midnight Clear is a fun, Ohio Star quilt. It finishes at 68″ x 82″ and is available in two different versions…a two color version as well as a multi version.
For the two color version, I used the Winter Sketch print from Starberry in Charcoal and the white on white fabric from the line (which is also Winter Sketch).
The Winter Sketch print comes in several colors and this quilt would be so pretty in any of them.
PS…if you missed the Starberry fabrics blog post you can read it here. You can watch the Starberry fabrics video here. Starberry is a holiday 2024 line of fabric and is expected to arrive in quilt shops in May, 2024. This gives you time to make those 2024 holiday quilts. =)
David used Modern Loops to quilt the 2 color version of Starry Midnight Clear. The backing is the star print on charcoal. The star print from Starberry is another of my favorites. You can see all of the pretty colors it comes in up above in the fabric photo.
The multi color version of Starry Midnight Clear is a fat quarter friendly quilt. If you ever wonder about the fabric requirements for my quilt patterns, you can always find them in the pattern listing in my shop on Etsy.
David used the Baptist Fan quilting design to quilt this version.
Which version to you prefer?…the 2 color or the multi?
Up next is Scrappy Evergreens:
Scrappy Evergreens finishes at 66″ x 80″.
Isn’t that quilting design so pretty?…it’s called Campanelle. It’s the first time I tried this quilting design for one of my quilts and I love it on this one. =)
Up next is Cuddle Up Sampler:
Cuddle Up Sampler is full of so many fun blocks to piece. I’ll be talking about this quilt more in the future as I am hosting a quilt along for this one once Starberry ships.
The quilting on this one is called Sugar Cookie…I love this take on an orange peel quilting design.
The pattern for Cuddle Up Sampler is a 20+ page 8 1/2″ x 11″ pattern….much larger than my usual patterns. I can’t wait to make another one of these quilts with you all next summer!
The last project that I want to share with you is Happy Holiday Stars. This is a free pattern that will be available to download here on my blog next spring when Starberry fabrics ship. So, the pattern is not available right now, but keep an eye out for it when Starberry ships.
David used Diagonal Plaid to quilt Happy Holiday Stars. It is a smaller quilt finishing at 45″ x 45″. Moda Fireside on the back of this quilt makes it perfectly cuddly. =)
Wooly Wall Hanging, Deerly Loved, Scrappy Evergreens, and Starry Midnight Clear are available to purchase either individually or as a 4 piece pattern bundle.
Cuddle Up Sampler can be purchased individually.
And now for that fun extra I mentioned at the beginning of the blog post. For anyone purchasing the complete set of Starberry patterns (the 4 piece bundle plus Cuddle Up Sampler) I will be including a cute little Wooly sticker with your purchase.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I wish you all a very, merry Christmas! Corey
Thank you for all of your hard work that adds color to our lives! Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas to you as well!
Corey, I was thinking the sampler was going to be a kit available at FQS….is that true or my imagination?
I haven’t heard that they will be kitting it…but I can’t say for sure.
Kimberly might have mentioned the pattern and sew along for the sampler when she spoke about your new fabric for next years. I might be getting that mixed up with her saying it was a kit. Either way I want to make the sampler – its adorable! What can I say…ol’ age is just catching up to me. LOL
So beautiful! Love all of the quilts! Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Merry Christmas to you as well!
My new years resolution (no new quilt projects until I finish the ones I have started) is going to be broken the minute this fabric hits the stores! Just beautiful Corey.
Thank you so much!…It’s always so much fun to see what everyone makes with my fabrics!

What a fun video to watch this Saturday morning. Your patterns are lovely. Cannot wait for the Starberry line to arrive and to QAL with you. Loved learning with you during the 2023 QAL, so 2024 will add more confidence. May you have the happiest holiday with those you love and love you.
Your Starberry video was such a perfect start to my morning as I was wondering what I will do this day before Christmas Eve. So back into the sewing room for a day of fun for me. I wish you and your loved ones a blessed holiday season.
I am also looking forward to the Starberry line showing up in our quilt stores. Today I enjoyed all your quilts, but am looking forward to making my own sheep and reindeer quilts for next year’s Christmas gifts. Thank you for all your videos. Your cheerful spirit is especially welcome during this time of year!
I am in love with this collection!! Thank you for creating a collection with all of my favorite shades of red and green mixed with the blacks!! Your patterns are darling too and seem timeless. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Very sweet patterns, Corey. I especially love Deerly Loved. Will look for the fabrics in my LQS this Spring.
Merry Christmas, Corey! Thank you for all you do for us. You have the most beautiful patterns and fabrics! I just ordered all of these patterns and I’m so excited to get the fabric. I think I just might start with the sampler! Anyway, I hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your family. Sending my love and prayers for a very happy new year. 🎄🙏🏻🎄
Hey, Corey, I love that “Campanelle” quilting motif! And I find it hard to believe that you didn’t already know, Dec. 23, or Christmas Eve eve as you called it is actually called Christmas Adam because…. Adam comes before Eve (bahdumdum) I’ll show myself to the door now.
Happy Christmas Corey. Thank you for all the work you do all year to make us fall in love with your fabrics (not to mention sharing your artwork with us through those fabrics)
Sarah @heirloominthemaking
Beautiful as always
I like the multicolored quilt.
Can your great new Starberry collection also be purchased in Germany?
Absolutely!…my fabrics are carried in quilt shops worldwide that carry Moda Fabrics. It is up to each quilt shop which collections they order. If you have a favorite local shop that carries Moda, let them know you’d like them to carry it.
Loved all the quilts. They are all beautiful. Looking forward to getting back to sewing. I haven’t done much for a couple of years due to sickness of my husband. I hope I can remember how to thread the machine.
I love you moose and lamb quilts. For the sheep/lamb, I would call it “Lenny Lamb”. What do you think? Moose looks like “Merry Moose”. Have a great holiday season and Happy New Year!!!
I adore the chubby scrap trees!
